"Brilliant. Was up in Aberdeen, from a bit down to coast, for a hospital visit. Timed it so we could get a takeaway in the 'toon ' before heading back home with it. Did a Google search for decent curry houses in the area and came up with this place. So, first time there for us. Called from the hospital grounds at just after 4pm and was told the food would be ready in about half an hour. We headed up there, arriving a wee bit early but our order was ready. Got it back home and boy it was fantastic. Lamb Seekh Kebab and vegetarian platter (for the wife) and both were great. I then had the Prawn Bombay Flame and Keema Rice and she had Prawn Dhansak with Pilau Rice. Add a Tarka Dhall on the side and Keema and Cheese Naans, popadoms and dips etc and things were complete. The quality of the food was just fantastic and the prawns were some of the best I 've ever had in a curry. Helpings were abundant as well. I cannot fault this place. Friendly staff too and clean and tidy wee shop. This may have been our first takeaway from here but rest assured it will not be our last. Brilliant!!!! Cheers!!!"

"the order has arrived. I couldn't make calls to follow orders. when it finally arrived, it was wrong, ordered bananen drown, great when they order an allergy, lemon ice radiation and reused orange mud from inaccessible taste, ordered a pot with heavenly and lemon sorbet and got a chip of lemon sorty. to say I was disappointed, is an understatement! currently isolating, so can not be delicious. incapable, contact with shop."

"This restaurant is clearly overrated. I ordered the burrata with tomatoes, and the burrata was unremarkable while the tomatoes were overripe. Next, I tried the tagliolini with black truffles; the pasta was slightly overcooked, and there were only three truffles on the plate. Overall, the service was average. We had to request basic items like olive oil, salt, and broth. There was also a diner who loudly complained and insulted the staff, which was quite outrageous. We ended up leaving the restaurant feeling frustrated and upset. While such behavior isn’t acceptable, it reflects the dissatisfaction with the service we experienced."

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"I Ordered after work and it took over an hour to receive. That was fine as I can look past that as I understand Friday night can be busy. However then we opened the order and they forgot a whole Main dish. When I called up to tell the restaurant there was no sympathy and no apology at all, just a “we will get the other main out to you on the drivers next run” when I ask how long his reply was “15-20mins”....... 35-40minutes later we get the forgotten main dish... thanks a lot. To top it all off the lamb dish I ordered was dry and the sauce was like apple sauce out of a baby food jar. Dont order from this place they have obviously don’t value customers Bit of advice to the takeaway. If you would have just said sorry i would have understood and looked past it. Not just put couple of poppadoms in the bad and think that makes it alright. Ignorant"

There is a better fish and chip shop next door called Random N, and I recommend trying their curry. The quality is unbeatable. There were cobwebs throughout the entire shop. When I asked if they had a vacuum cleaner, the response I got was, "I can't eat here, it does.""

"Had a wonderful one-night stay at this magnificent property only 20 mins away from Oxford. The Feathers hold such a rich history, it is worth a visit regardless. We parked for free in the fire station parking which was only 3-5 mins walk from the hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. The reception staff and waiting staff were cheery and easy to talk to. Some guests wished us good morning, it absolutely made our day. Lastly, words are not enough to describe how amazing the breakfast banana walnut bread served with cream fresh was!! Thank you very much team at The Feathers."

"We met close family to celebrate or 50th wedding anniversary, and can honestly say this was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. From the minute we opened the door till we left we found the staff extremely attentive and very friendly. The food was outstanding, the surroundings superb and the whole ambiance of the Drawing Room was perfect. A totally delightful afternoon. As we live in the north of Scotland, it will probably be a while before we are back in London, but when we are The Drawing Room at Browns is a must. "We made a last-minute reservation at the Olive Branch for our final night in Edinburgh since it was close to our vacation rental flat, and I'm so glad we did! The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, the meals were absolutely amazing, and the cocktails were delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The only minor issue was that they didn't have any pink or flavored gin, but that certainly wouldn't make me deduct a star. I would love to visit again...it's just a shame that I live 5 hours away!"

"we visited pepper during a short holiday break between christmas and new year. it was a quiet night to be a Wednesday, although there were a few larger groups celebrated birthdays and, although we had booked online, there were many tables to choose from. the menu contained some dishes that we had not met before. we had small but beautifully cooked and presented seafood stars. for the main course my partner chose the tandoori lammings that were plentiful and excellent. I had a royal dish that was just as delicious. there was a light mix with our order that was taken on a digital device, which led to us getting a few dishes that we had not requested! However, this was quickly sorted out, with excuses and a free supplement. a very nice meal in a beautiful restaurant."
