"Brilliant. Was up in Aberdeen, from a bit down to coast, for a hospital visit. Timed it so we could get a takeaway in the 'toon ' before heading back home with it. Did a Google search for decent curry houses in the area and came up with this place. So, first time there for us. Called from the hospital grounds at just after 4pm and was told the food would be ready in about half an hour. We headed up there, arriving a wee bit early but our order was ready. Got it back home and boy it was fantastic. Lamb Seekh Kebab and vegetarian platter (for the wife) and both were great. I then had the Prawn Bombay Flame and Keema Rice and she had Prawn Dhansak with Pilau Rice. Add a Tarka Dhall on the side and Keema and Cheese Naans, popadoms and dips etc and things were complete. The quality of the food was just fantastic and the prawns were some of the best I 've ever had in a curry. Helpings were abundant as well. I cannot fault this place. Friendly staff too and clean and tidy wee shop. This may have been our first takeaway from here but rest assured it will not be our last. Brilliant!!!! Cheers!!!"

"the order has arrived. I couldn't make calls to follow orders. when it finally arrived, it was wrong, ordered bananen drown, great when they order an allergy, lemon ice radiation and reused orange mud from inaccessible taste, ordered a pot with heavenly and lemon sorbet and got a chip of lemon sorty. to say I was disappointed, is an understatement! currently isolating, so can not be delicious. incapable, contact with shop."

"The main courses feature authentic Bangladeshi recipes at reasonable prices. While the starters may seem a bit pricey for takeout at first, they offer generous portions and delicious flavors that make them worth the cost. The poppadoms are a great value, with all the extra accompaniments included by Simla. If you prefer your tandoori dishes less charred, be sure to request this when ordering. My only complaint is that the naan and chapatti are consistently thick and heavy, which is not to my taste. Despite asking for changes, this has not been accommodated. There is also a separate fast food menu for those with varied tastes, although I have not personally tried it. Parking is plentiful outside after 6pm for collection orders, and there are comfortable sofas available for waiting. Overall, a decent option for a curry meal."

"This evening some friends and I ordered from Balti Spice from just eat and waited half an hour past the estimated delivery time to contact them. After ringing them them assured they delivered it to us (even though they didn't) and if we had wanted to take it further we should contact just eat. Just eat said they could do nothing until the restaurant autherised a refund of which they refused. Long story short we've been charged for a takeaway we never received and both Balti Spice and just eat refuse to admit they were in the wrong. If I were you I wouldn't take the risk and order from Balti Spice. I'd order from one of the many other Indian takeaways available in the area of which I'm sure you'd receive much better service from. It's extremely dissapointing after ringing Balti Spice twice and ringing just eat. What a waste of time and money"

"They also have great offers; it's impressive how they provide such high-quality food at such reasonable prices! We paid about £10 for what we had: poppadoms, a starter, a main course, and a side. We were so full after our meal that we didn't have room for dessert or coffee, but even if we did, I don't think we would have spent more than £15 per person! Better yet, in true Balti house tradition, they allow you to bring your own alcohol, so there's no need to overspend on drinks either! I definitely missed out by not trying this place sooner. I used to think my options were either a) go to a fancy restaurant for good food and pay top dollar for both food and drinks or b) go to a Balti house, where the quality is hit or miss, so I just never bothered, even though it would save me money. Now I've found the best of both worlds: a great restaurant, top-notch food, low prices, and the ability to bring my own alcohol! Is it any wonder that I've been back four times in the last two weeks? Keep up the great work!"

"The menu at this restaurant is good, with efficient and friendly staff. I have been coming here regularly for a year and have never had any issues with the food. They offer delicious rich sauces, particularly in the zentara and kalli March dishes. When you order a main dish, you also receive a small salad. If you pre-order over the phone, your food will be ready in 20 minutes, even during busy times. They offer delivery within 20 minutes as well. The chicken tikka charcoal grill is a standout dish, with a light curry sauce that pairs well with naan and chicken. The pakora sauce has a nice kick to it and the portions are generous. In addition to Indian cuisine, they also offer pizza, kebabs, and chips. They have chef selection meals and accept orders through Just Eat. There is a small bench and a TV for waiting customers."

"This Cambridge restaurant is one of the top curry spots in town. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere and decor are delightful and tidy. What really stands out, though, is the food - it's incredibly fresh. Be sure to try the peshwari naan, which smells heavenly and tastes amazing. Every item on the menu is wonderful, especially the chef's signature dishes. While delivery is an option, it's worth visiting in person to fully enjoy the Meghna experience."

"I Ordered after work and it took over an hour to receive. That was fine as I can look past that as I understand Friday night can be busy. However then we opened the order and they forgot a whole Main dish. When I called up to tell the restaurant there was no sympathy and no apology at all, just a “we will get the other main out to you on the drivers next run” when I ask how long his reply was “15-20mins”....... 35-40minutes later we get the forgotten main dish... thanks a lot. To top it all off the lamb dish I ordered was dry and the sauce was like apple sauce out of a baby food jar. Dont order from this place they have obviously don’t value customers Bit of advice to the takeaway. If you would have just said sorry i would have understood and looked past it. Not just put couple of poppadoms in the bad and think that makes it alright. Ignorant"

"0 STARS!! I had to mark one to be able to post. Disgusting customer service/management. I have never spoken to such a rude and cheeky manager in my life. I ordered food yesterday which arrived over one hour later, all cold and short of one box of chips. When I called to complain, I was asked to call the day after as they were closing. I have called today reporting that one box was missing yesterday and that all food was cold and arrived after hours which was over an hour late from what was promised. The manager said that I want to get those chips today I have to pay for delivery or they can drop me pounds to my door for the chips but no chips. He also said to forget to get any compensation for anything else and made very rude remarks. If I knew the place was operated by such disgusting people I would have never in my life ordered anything from that shop. I paid for cold food which arrived after more than hours and without one box of chips and cheese. That is shocking and unacceptable. I will make sure that message is passed to everybody I know to warn them from ordering from this place."

"Had a wonderful one-night stay at this magnificent property only 20 mins away from Oxford. The Feathers hold such a rich history, it is worth a visit regardless. We parked for free in the fire station parking which was only 3-5 mins walk from the hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. The reception staff and waiting staff were cheery and easy to talk to. Some guests wished us good morning, it absolutely made our day. Lastly, words are not enough to describe how amazing the breakfast banana walnut bread served with cream fresh was!! Thank you very much team at The Feathers."

"Hands down the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in all of Bournemouth/Dorset. If you are visiting the area you have to come and try their food. The service is fast and on time, and they will always have a smile on their faces. Great menu, lots of sides and mains to pick from, with lovely flavours. "We met close family to celebrate or 50th wedding anniversary, and can honestly say this was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. From the minute we opened the door till we left we found the staff extremely attentive and very friendly. The food was outstanding, the surroundings superb and the whole ambiance of the Drawing Room was perfect. A totally delightful afternoon. As we live in the north of Scotland, it will probably be a while before we are back in London, but when we are The Drawing Room at Browns is a must. "We ordered 6 different dishes chosen by this establishment, and I'm sorry to say that utterly appalling was our conclusion. All three of us agreed that it was all practically inedible and disgusting. I was attracted initially by the fact that Nepali dishes were served here including mojo. The momo were inedible along with almost everything else we ordered including the nan bread which was so dried out, it was like cardboard. Obviously not made on site. We are amazed this place has been in business for any length of time. The on Y acceptable food we received out of nearly £40 of different dishes was the pilau rice. Very sad to report this, we has higher expectations. Avoid this place if you like good quality food."
