"I ordered a big meal for my family and myself, as we had never tried this restaurant before. When the food arrived, it was not very hot and we had to warm up some dishes. I ordered a king prawn bhuna and found it to be extremely bland - it tasted like prawns in plain water. My husband ordered a king prawn curry and had a similar experience. The onion bhajis had a weird texture and taste, and overall we were quite disappointed. While the food was edible, the lack of flavor means we won't be ordering from this restaurant again."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Good food, authentic taste, fantastic place to eat out with family and friends. I had a great experience however what did bother me though was the manager at woodlands on Sunday 17th. He was so rude to the girl serving us and to this lady who was walking aided by her assistant and a stick. She was trying to go to the restroom and cause woodlands Marylebone doesn't have a wheelchair access toilet she had to climb a few stairs! With much difficulty due to her condition she was trying to do this and her assistant and grandchild were helping. "The food at this restaurant is fantastic, although there is room for improvement in the service area. The staff is friendly, but they can be hard to flag down after you receive your food for more drinks or the bill. "I cannot recommend a restaurant that serves only 2 pieces of chicken for £13 as a main dish. Furthermore, there was an issue with a family allowing their child to watch children's TV at their table using a tablet. Personally, I do not enjoy dining out and listening to cartoon shows. It was disappointing that the waitstaff were unable to handle this situation effectively. Although the food was excellent and our waiter was courteous and efficient in addressing our complaints, the overall experience left us feeling unimpressed."

"Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited. I had the chicken pakora and biryani two nights back, and was so impressed that I brought my family out for a big sampling the next night. Everything is fresh, chicken is tender and and vegetables are crisp, and the small sampling of Nepalese dishes are incredible. The price is deceptively low, I’ve paid twice as much for food half as good before so the value here is off the charts. Service both nights was attentive, prompt, and courteous. I can’t recommend this place enough."

"Recently visited with a couple of colleagues whilst in Birmingham for work. We just walked by, went in and were seated quickly. Service and food were excellent and very reasonably priced. All 3 of us picked the Thawa Chicken Tikka with various side dishes, dessert and drinks, all of which were lovely we will definitely be back nest time we are in town."

"27.12.21-I’ve ordered a tandoori chicken biriyani and a lamb biriyani last night. Tandoori biriyani was good but the lamb biriyani was utterly disappointing. This was our first order ever and we only ordered from Mystica was Spice Lounge was closed on 27 Dec. Lamb biriyani was like some boiled yellow rice with some mixed lamb!!! When I called and spoke to the chef he jotted my name down like he’s going to remember me next time when I order lol what a joke. I ordered two chicken tikka biriyani. On top of that they made a test lamb biriyani because of my previous experience. "We started dining at this restaurant after the first lockdown and I can no longer highly recommend it for its food and service. The staff is always friendly and happy to accommodate us, whether we choose to dine in, take away, or have it delivered. The prices are fair for the large portions of high-quality food they serve. Deliveries are always on time, or even earlier than expected. Occasionally, they have even given us a complimentary bottle of wine or beer, which is a nice gesture. Overall, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cheltenham!"

"Great service!! I don't know that girl's name but she really made sure we had everything and that we enjoyed our dinner. About food, we ordered king prawns starter, it was tasty with little chutney on the side but just 3 small prawns. Really really really small portion size for that price. Naan here is simply yummy. We ordered Vindaloo with it. Like a typical Goan Vindaloo, this one was hot, very spicy but flavourful. It had well made chicken."

"I made a reservation online and received confirmation via email. On the day of our reservation, myself and my friends arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were fully booked. Despite showing my confirmation, the staff informed me that they had only been open for 2 weeks and were not online. After speaking with the manager, we were eventually seated at a table (despite many empty tables available). We waited an hour for our food to arrive and had to request cutlery and napkins as they were not provided. While waiting, a large table who were also waiting for their food ended up leaving. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"We were here for the first time and would never visit again neither recommend it to some one. We were a large group and ordered 3 Veg Platter but was only served for 2, when asked again they bought the third one. The first 2 were ok but the third was pathetic. It seems they were in hurry and everything was undercooked. We informed waiter about it but he doesn't seems to be worried at all, just heard us and left. Chicken Biryani, the rice was again undercooked and very bland. Forget even the essence of biryani, it's not even worthy to be a plain rice. Murgh Nawab, while ordering we asked them to make sure it to be spicy but disappointed again as the curry was very tangy and sweet. Madras Paneer, it's comparatively better than other dishes but a strong presence of turmeric could be felt, which is making it little bitter. Vegetable Dupiaz was ok ok. Finally Rotis, Chapati were very hard, Garlic Naan Tandoori Roti seemed to be instant ready made bought from ASDA rather than freshly made. Something that is good was Papad and Chutneys. After the first encounter with waiter we felt that the people there were not very concerned about the feedback so just left the place unfulfilled."

"(Delivery) Considering the high rating on Tripadvisor and the reviews of the place we were ready to give Kali Mirchi a go. After quotes of Best Indian and So much flavour being thrown around, we were anticipating a much needed curry. After placing the order and being told it would be 40 minutes, we waited an hour before we called to be told it had just left and would be with us any minute. It came to £19.20 so I gave the driver £20 and was told he had no change! Biting my lip to the sofa we dug in to our starters. The Onion Bhajis were more gram flour than onion and for such a cheap dish to make was surprising. I could taste the old oil which isn 't always a bad thing if it wasn 't for there being too much flour to soak it up. Oily onion bhajis seen to, mains were a go. I love my naan bread and wasn 't all that impressed with the one I had infront of me, the bright red keema filling had all dropped to one side and it was very thin. The pilau rice was nice though, I think they had added a touch of saffron. The Chicken Tikka Masala was average at best and tasted alot like cheese. Not how I would expect, it was also luke warm but did have good chunks of chicken. The lamb jalfrezi was overly spiced and had more than enough green chillies but abit too much oil. Unfortunalty we didnt feel Kali Mirchi had lived up to its reputation and I am a firm believer that food should be a similar standard when delivered, if this is the standard in restaurant then I would be very disappointed to have made the journey. Summary Nothing special, average experience for a takeaway, good portions of meat, but bad balance of spice and flavour. Check your change and order well in advance!"
