"I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening. The staff were lovely, and the food was fantastic, especially the great two-course special for just £13.00. Since I only live 25 minutes away, I will definitely be coming back. My only minor complaint was the £11.00 price for a glass of wine, but my wife said it was very nice—though I was the one paying... again! Overall, it was a great dining experience. "Having been a customer for the last 20 years I have to say how disappointing it is that I have to write this review. Considering we are in a cost of living crisis as are the restaurant's that serve us, I still find it hard to accept a meal (chicken kebab) can cost £10. This is where my problem is with this review. If you charge a premium price for food then you have to make sure it is good. Chicken kebab salad and a couple of sauces with a small tip almost £20. The chicken was not hot so resulted in it being very dry, the garlic sauce was nothing short of terrible. The worst thing is me and my partner took a chance tonight rather than getting a Chinese or Indian and guess what..... The difference is a million miles away.... Only OK for pizza.... "I came to old weavers on Christmas Day with my family, we had a table of 9. The staff and manager here made our experience so lovely and completely made our Christmas Day perfect! "the service was extremely slow, although it was occupied only a few tables. our starters arrived after 30 minutes, but then there was a very long wait until the main course. concerning eating, the appetizers were very good, but both main courses were bland and quite tasteless. the waitress tried to handle her best and was pleasant enough, but there was no real presence that ran the restaurant they expected to see our long wait and hopefully challenge the kitchen to send our food in a reasonable time. the ambiente was a lot of one of the caffes that tries to be a restaurant, and the total layout would be put with table clothing, cutlery and weinglasses already in the place. there was no atmosphere without background music. the total bill came to £91 which was not worth money. the Italian garden must be "on his game " with regard to all asspects of the meal experience, especially in consideration of the entire fine ess competition in the city."

"The experience on 28 September @1300 me and my friend had to day ,the worst experience we have ever encountered, firstly we tried to order our pizza as a takeaway and she ignored us and kept us waiting, when we finally tried to order she started talking a language to her cook that nobody else couldn't understand, and then tried to look down her nose at us ,really horrible lady ,in all honesty she looked like she had been out on the town all night as she stank of alcohol and B. "I like good food, but I'm not particularly demanding either. This food is by far the worst I've ever tasted in Birmingham since the last 10 years or so. I ordered 2 kebabs (pita chicken) and a cheese burger. I was hungry yet I couldn't eat any of them. The burger meated tastes like polystyrene or something. Kebab meat was greasy beyond imagination. There are many kinds of quality in kebab meat, this one is clearly the bottom one. It was also full of these cheap chili and mayo sauce. The overall impression is that every single ingredient of this food is the cheapest existing on the market. Don't expect to enjoy this food, except if you are accustomed to extremely low standards."

"Two huge wooden tables and long benches make up Papa Del's communal dining area! There are also a few window seats! Papa Del's has a very natural feel to it. The tables are uneven so that slate placemats are used to keep the plates level! It was nice to have such a dining area with all the wooden surroundings! The painted walls and wall lights gave a soft ambiance! The food was cooked fresh in the open kitchen and so we were waiting a short while for it! The Vegetariana pizza had a thin crispy base and the tomato sauce was tasty. It was topped with tomato, mozzarella, sweetcorn, onions, peppers and mushrooms. We had an additional topping of aubergine! The vegetables were all cooked perfectly! The Penne Arrabiata was a big portion! The pasta was topped with a sauce of garlic, tomato, olives and chilli! The sauce had a good flavour and it definitely had a spicy kick to it! The staff were friendly, but there was a slight language barrier going on. A few times when we asked the staff quest"

"I read reviews here complaining of orders not arriving or being cold, but decided to take a chance anyway assuming it was just a one-off issue. Unfortunately, 2.5 hours after placing my order, my food still hadn't arrived. I received a notification that it was on its way, but it never showed up. They didn't even bother to let me know so I could order from somewhere else before closing time, despite having my phone number. I tried calling them multiple times, but they wouldn't pick up. Even the third-party food delivery app I used couldn't get through to them. If you plan to dine in at the restaurant, this review may not apply to you. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering online from them at all. There's a high chance your order won't be delivered or will be cold by the time it finally arrives. It's impossible to reach them by phone and their customer service is severely lacking. In all my years of ordering from restaurants, this is the first time I've experienced such poor service."

"Was seated quickly by a lovely lady, can't remember her name but she was so nice. We ordered a starter to share and arrived quickly, was well presented and a good portion size (sharing platter). We didn't order our mains until after our started and that wasnt a problem. For mains we shared the sliders and the buffalo chicken pizza. The sliders were well cooked and presented lovely, good fries too. Asked for a side of buffalo sauce and that was no problem for our server, who checked on us a few times which was great so we could get more drinks. The pizza base was crispy and the topping was just the right amount. We couldn't be finish our mains as we were too full. We paid on our phone which we thought was great and when we left we were said bye too which made us feel welcome and we will definitely be back for pay day treats next month."

"Having booked a table for 3 a week before during the government eat out scheme, we arrived at the restaurant sharp 6.30 pm as per the booking. We were asked to wait outside and it had started raining.I was asked for the name and booking details. The staff brought the book and could not find our booking so went to ask the owner. The owner came with the book and told us someone called and cancelled our booking and she could not do anything about it. We tried to say why would we do that and she was not willing to listen. The restaurant may have cheekily cancelled our booking if they had shortage of tables. Never again shall we go there. Worst customer service.."

"The worst experience off ordering pizza I've ever had. I ordered 4 pizzas and 3 of the 4 had 90% of their toppings spilled off the in the the box. When I called up to say about this at first I was told I would be goverb new pizza but then later was told that I would get nothing and was told to call customer service which lead to nowhere as it is an automated call that doesn't help. One of the employes who I talked to called Ahmed was extremely rude and started shouting down the phone at me when I was asking him what to do to get some sort of refund or different pizza. They also claimed to that the pizza were fine when it was not the case and they looked like they had merged multiple pizza together to make mine. If your looking for a cheese pizza at least you won't have to worry about having no toppings but your stomach and bowls might be displeased the next day."

"We popped in without a booking on a Sunday night after a long drive and were met with such fantastic service. Our waiter Blair was soo friendly, made some great recommendations and made us laugh a lot! The frito misto was a great starter, huge fresh bits of fresh and a delicious garlic and parsley sauce. We also ordered the asparagus with pancetta which was so nicely done with another great sauce. The fresh pasta dishes were phenomenal! Between our table we ordered the slow cooked beef and tuscan sausage ragu which had so much tender meat and a delicious rich sauce, the rigatoni sinatra (crumbled italian sausages with loads of roasted peppers and chilli in a tomato sauce) and the fettuccine pollo piccante which was my favourite. This was spicy chicken in a creamy parmesan sauce with a right kick of chilli! For a complete accidental find we had such a great meal and would definitely come back if we were travelling down to Glasgow from the Highlands again!"

"I went here with a friend to catch me. we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our food order. we ordered a sirloin steak and the chicken and pancetta cake. the steak (15.99) was served with a tiny tomaten, 2 barely fried tweebel rings, lamb salad and some chips. she asked for tomato sauce and we didn't get any. I think for this price, regardless of whether they have sauce or not, is very much over price for what they get. No one came by to ask how it was eating. the chicken cake was beautiful with the strange pieces of dodgy looking chicken pieces. for dessert we had a banana pee that did not see much on it and had too thick of a basic on it. the sticky toffee pudding but was delicious with vanilla ice cream. the menu that they see on the website and the menu that they get in the restaurant is something different, so don't look too much in advance, especially on the pages, I don't think we'll be back soon as it's just not as beautiful as we originally remember that it is."
