Can’t fault this chippy, I’ve read some of the bad reviews and sure they haven't been to the same chippy I have! Staff are friendly and chefs amazing!! The takeaway is popular for its fish and chips, with many people claiming it's the best in Shropshire. However, I was disappointed during my visit. They were out of mushy peas and large sausages, the chips were dry and chewy, and the service was unfriendly. It was also inconvenient that they only accept cash. I probably won't be returning. Went in tonight to get a treat for visiting family and what a waste of money, tye chicken in the kebab was raw and totally inedible , I contacted the shop and was offered replacement but decided it was safer not too, could have taken food back for a refund but was unable to do so! We would like to express our gratitude to Albrighton Fish and Chip shop for providing us with outstanding fish and chips for the RNLI quiz night. Our 90 guests were delighted with the meal. The delivery service was prompt and the quality of the food was excellent. The atmosphere at the event was also great. We highly recommend trying the cod dish. Overall, we give a 5-star rating for the food, service, and atmosphere.

Tasty food, friendly staff. Unfortunately had issues with portion size on this occasion. Ordered two large fish, neither was very large but the sizes were completely different. One was actually the size and shape of a battered sausage. A shame I can’t post the pic here. Upon contact they did apologise and offered to let me return it. That wasn’t possible as I’d travelled but this should’ve been picked up as it was being packed. Chicken nuggets were also very small.

Generally, a pleasant establishment with great staff, chips/fish/battered items super fresh and tasty. However, I 'm a fan of kebab chicken (upright and grilled, like a lamb kebab is . On my recent visit I ordered a chicken 'mix ' (Mediterranean and Plain and it was served to me from 'warming draws- where you would expect peas/gravy/curry sauce . Not sure if you 're aware, but putting the chicken into these 'drawers ' does NOT keep it moist and pleasant to eat. It dries out and becomes very chewy indeed, sometimes to the point of being inedible. (Mostly my case today sadly .
