"Waited a long time for a slot to go for Sunday lunch and the food was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere in the Bistro and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. The only thing we found to be a negative is the fact that the menu is £28 for two courses and still charged the same even if you have the one course which then makes it rather an expensive roast lunch compared to other places. One of our party has a very small appetite and a little disappointed about this. Overall a nice place and would visit again."

It's good. Love the concept. The butchers closed but the restaurant is open is cool. But the food is a bit patchy in quality to be 5. Steak was great but overdone with a watery bearnaise sauce. Lamb burger was excellent but coleslaw was frothy. Chips were outstanding but wine was sharp, even after a few glasses All in all probably what we expected. Would recommend.
