"My hubby and I seldom do cookings at home. We frequent Canterbury's Morrisons Cafe as we find abundant choices of food there, very reasonably priced and affordable too even for pensioners like us. More so because their staff are friendly and helpful, in particular, server Giovanna is so customer-focused and kind that she always ensures everyone gets what he/she wants. Her friendly attitude and sincere smiles make customers feel so special and well taken care of. It is also amazing to find Giovanna working diligently everywhere in the dining area, clearing tables and doing all sorts of cleaning almost non-stop. An asset indeed to the cafe as well as to the customers."

"Walked passed this shop again a few hours after buying my son chips from here, was greeted by the sight of the man who served me washing his feet in the sinks. I therefore got up close and sneakily took a photo of this devious act. The shop was close to closing time and they thought nobody would see them doing this. Chellos was much better and fresher. 1/10 wont be coming back."

"I went to Frankies and Bennys for dinner tonight. I was not impressed with the food or the service. We ordered the same main meals, but one portion was larger than the other. One of our meals was very dry and lacked sauce and meat. The service was poor, as the staff did not inquire about our meal satisfaction. Most of the staff were chatting by the open kitchen bar. When serving our food, they did not ask if we needed anything. When I asked for cheese, it took longer than expected for someone to bring it. I have dined here many times before without any issues, but I was disappointed with the meal and service this evening."

"visited here for dinner (in the afternoon) on our shopping tour with our 3 children. menu for the lunchtime that was good and still a decent selection. the children's dishes are good and all 3 young have enjoyed their meal. it's a shame that you can't get 2x sides, although some of the meals are quite small. I chose the halloumi wrap I really regretted that I love halloumi, but there was so much salat and avocado that I could not even taste the halloumi in it, very disappointing. my man had the bbq bark pack he said was really nice. I thought the options were pretty cumbersome if they don't want chocolate or not. Too bad they don't have a strawberry or eton chaos sunflower. I tried the cream egg cookie dough at the end and it was very rich, in any case must come with ice. our waitress was nice, very fast. it's a good box stop for lunch, but I'd definitely get something else when we go back."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was shocking and absolutely dreadful. I used to order takeout from here frequently, but in the last few months, the pizza was always undercooked and had very little toppings. I decided to give them another chance and placed an order for iftari at 8pm, but they changed the delivery time to 9:20pm without informing me. When I called to inquire about the delay, the person on the phone said she was also fasting and that I had to accept the new timing. When I asked for a refund, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to multiple unhelpful staff members, including a woman who claimed to be the manager named Nosh. She was no better and provided poor customer service. The lack of professionalism and rudeness from the front desk staff was shocking."

"In my visits to Drumchapel I've always enjoyed the fare on offer at Pauls. When calling for collection I've always been struck by the spotless shop and serving areas. Deliveries are always prompt, service is always cheery and friendly. No stranger to a chippy supper over the years, Pauls is right up there with the best I've had. Portions are hearty and the batter is a delightful crispy experience, especially on the fish. Great variety, always tasty and the sausage supper would fill you for a fortnight. Great for a wee home delivery treat."

"At around 3:45 this afternoon, I went into this fish chip shop(my second ever visit). Had planned to buy a fish supper. I was the only customer in the shop at this time. I had noticed one female employee outside smoking, and there was one male staff member behind the counter(biggish lad, tanned skin, bald) who seemed fixated on his mobile phone. After being stood there for almost a minute without so much as an acknowledgement from him, I purposely did a small cough, assuming this might raise his attention? Sadly it didn't and even with the internal access door through to the market slamming in the wind..our friend's concentration on his phone did not waver. So after being ignored for almost 2 minutes, I assumed my business was not required from this establishment, so exited. After leaving I politely mentioned my dissatisfaction to the middle aged female who was still outside smoking, but sadly her attitude left a lot to be desired..she simply couldn't care less!! My previous visit to this same place around a month previous, I'd found the food prices good, but the staff noticeably mediocre..now it all makes sense."

"Would like to add that all the other staff, especially our server, Fatima, were brilliant. Advised food intolerances during booking process and received great email the day before: “I have come across your booking notes and wated to share our menu with you. We have a few gluten free options for all courses and we also have a three course set menu £38pp our guests can also opt for. The Set Festive Menu does not offer GF options for starters, however we welcome our guests to choose this course from out A La Carte.” However, on ordering, the server fed back that I would not be able to choose a starter from the A La Carte and could not have the Festive Menu. She offered to bring the person who had said this to the table to explain. Oh wow bad move. This turned out to be the defensive and accusatory owner manager: This restaurant does not cater for “people like you” who “demand” things outside of what is available and “expect to get them”; and that “the system will not let him order” a starter from the A La Carte for the Festive Menu. “If I wanted to have the Festive Menu I would have to have the Aubergine starter from it”. Blah blah blah blah blah . . . The Aubergine starter was not marked GF on either menu (as per the email). I pointed out that his accusation about people like me making demands applied to him: he was “demanding” I eat the 1 item he selected for me from the menu and it was something I could not eat. Additionally, a quick estimate showed the order would come in a few pounds below the £38 for the Festive Menu. I didn’t bring up the email, because my patient companion asked if they could give their order, which included the aubergine dish. Owner Manager suddenly realised that this might work with the technology and clearly felt a need to share every step of his thinking process about swapping our starters with us. With much huffing and puffing he messed around with the order terminal for several minutes right at the table. After 2 failed attempts, he eventually muttered he’d “have to just write the order by hand” and stalked off. When the order arrived, we received a cup of salad instead of the broccoli side that had been ordered. When the broccoli arrived, it was steamed not sautéed as described in the menu so it was sent back. If having diners in your restaurant is an inconvenience for your technology, business and self, then maybe you’re in the wrong business? We didn’t need to know all the drama and detail about whether our starters can be swapped so that it can be input in the technology and we didn’t need to be party to all the huffing and puffing too. Finally the food: excellent margarita and Oyster mushroom starter. Highly recommend these. The Wild Mushroom rotolo mains was not as great as the starter but still very good. The festive snow bombe dessert presented beautifully, with the bombe melting under a pour of hot chocolate sauce, but tasted average. My take is that the pear filling was bland and didn’t complement the chocolaTe"

"Not the best experience. No parking to start with. Inconsiderate drivers. Service was overly keen. Kept interrupting our conversation various times asking is everything okay constantly throughout the experience. Manager offered as we walked in some water and poppadoms in a complimentary way. Later to find out he charged us a ridiculous price. Food was very overpriced for the quality. The variety was very limit and the staff didn’t now about the menu when asked questions. The manager was sneaky and added service charge also without asking us or telling. Place is small. Go owl and pussycat if you want good Indian food at a fraction of the price. I wouldn’t recommend unless you into a show room restaurant rather the quality and service. Thumbs down for me over hyped."

"Although I am not vegan myself, my husband is, so I don't usually dine at fully vegan restaurants with him. However, we decided to give it a try and had a wonderful date night at this restaurant a week ago. The crispy courgette flowers starter and chipotle mushrooms main course were delicious and well worth the cost. We had a great time and would definitely come back. It's nice to see the growing vegan scene in London with so many excellent options to explore, and I hope to visit more places like this in the future."

"We ordered through UberEats, and our food arrived nearly two hours later than the estimated delivery time. To make matters worse, we received chicken strips instead of wings, and three portions of fries and coleslaw were missing. We attempted to call the restaurant over ten times, but no one answered. Eventually, we found another number online, but the person who answered was rude. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a takeaway service! I do not recommend this restaurant at all! Extremely disappointed!"

"Ordered from here on the phone was extremely rushed and didn’t get the order correct. Put the phone down on me twice cause he said he was busy. Then it came within ten mins off ordering. The garlic bread was warm but full of grease dripping off it both kebabs was hard narn bread could not chew or it was like cardboard. The meat was freezing and unsure why as we live around the corner and the garlic bread was hot? Worst kebab I’ve ever eaten. Food was here 1 min so we called up and explained the person we spoke to the owner could not have being more rude. Just kept repeating himself saying “sorry you feel this way” multiple times. We asked for a refund and he said he dosent believe us we said we will bring it to shop him and he said he dosent have time to speak to us. We paid £19 for this food and even tipped the driver and we haven’t eaten any off it. Will not be going to this place again and will keep posting. Worst rude mannered people and never in my life have I made a bad review."

"So I made an order on uber eats, as you can see in my order I asked for a chicken kebab wrap. Not only does the packaging say “Lamb kebab” but the wrap was also filled with lamb. I rung the shop up and they basically told me I was lying and that it was chicken, and told me that the writing on the packaging was a mistake. I can assure you this tastes and smells like lamb, AND looks like it too. I hung up in anger as they didn’t seem to be doing anything to correct my order. In all the experience with this place was shocking and their customer service was very bad. Never going here again, not being called a liar over the phone when it’s clearly lamb."

"We did a botomless brunch yesterday (14/4/2022) at The Phantom and it was a great experience. The full English breakfast was of high standard and the drinks were flowing. I would especially like to thank the staff who were looking after us (sorry I didn't catch their names) they are a credit to the business. "Had my birthday meal here last night there was 9 of us, the food was outstanding, so fresh and tasty not 1 complaint from anyone, lots of empty plates from starters to main courses, food has been brilliant anytime we have came here, had a lovely strawberry daiquiri which I loved, only 1 issue and that was the length of time we had to wait on food coming and drinks, only 2 lovely boys working the floor/bar and we did have to wait a considerable amount of time for drinks, and quite some time from the kitchen from the time we had starter till main course, cannot fault the staff at all as they were doing their best but maybe a little more staff in as there was a good few tables full for meals. Still 5 tho as everything was lovely and yes the embarrassing bringing out of the birthday cake and singing to me as well happened. Xxx"

"Absolutely shocking service. Stated 45 mins delivery, arrived 40 mins late (after calling the restaurant). Ordered 4 burger meals, onion rings and a garlic bread. All delivered late and cold, 1 burger meal was wrong. Phoned restaurant to be offered a new burger and onion rings delivered in 30 mins!!! Not straight away. No refund or exchange on the garlic bread as apparently I was moaning about everything. Person I spoke to even tried to argue that my garlic bread wasn’t cold, how he knows that when he’s not with me is unbelievable. Absolutely horrible uncaring customer service too busy raking the money in off other people. Will never order from again and will advise everyone possible to steer clear of this terrible service!! Driver was 40 mins late and practically illegally entered my house by the time I was at the door."
