"I 've been going to the Sports Bar and Grill for many years, usually when I 'm on my way to watch something at Wembley. I was aware of their practice of Event Pricing , where they raise the prices when there are events at Wembley, but I was surprised at the cost of a Pint of Lager served in a Plastic Container at £7.95 and one brand of beer costing £8.50 a pint. It says something when having a drink inside the stadium is cheaper than a bar that 's a 10-minute train ride away. The next point I would like to make is their app ordering process. I 've got used to ordering by app, and I 'm happy using it, but the last few visits to the Bar, where I have used the app, are now the cause of a standing joke between my group of friends. On more than one occasion, when ordering drinks on the app, after a period of waiting, I went to the bar, took the ticket out of the machine and handed it over to the bar staff. If you don 't want us to use the app to order drinks, disable it. For the main reason for the review, we ordered food last night, in plenty of time to consume it and make our train. After 40 minutes of waiting, we enquired how much longer we would have to wait and were told it would be another 20 mins; at this point, we cancelled our food as we would have to wolf it down and run for our train. I had also ordered another round of drinks on the app, which hadn 't appeared and was told they would bring them over ASAP, after a period of waiting, I went up to the bar, picked the reprint of our round out of the printer and asked for that round to be cancelled. Whilst the order was being refunded, there were other customers asking to cancel their orders. I think it is time to go back to the Victoria Albert round the corner, which should help the Sports Bar and Grill cope with the number of customers."

"I 've been here a few times. It 's a nice enough pub, with a good range of ales. The staff are friendly enough, and the drinks are decently priced. It 's always quite busy and popular among the locals. But I had a bit of a frustrating experience the other day. Me and a friend of mine were walking my dog. It began to rain so we decided to grab a drink somewhere whilst it settled down. We were near the grapes, so I whipped out my phone and googled whether dogs were allowed in the pub. Online it says a child and dog friendly pub... and that dogs [are] allowed inside . I thought brilliant, me and my mate can grab a quick pint whilst we wait for the rain to stop. We go in the pub. Nobody says a word or bats an eye lid. We buy our drinks and go to sit down. As soon as we sit down, the landlady comes over, and, very politely, says dogs are not allowed in the pub. I have no problem with this. A lot of pubs don 't allow dogs in because they can be noisy, dirty, and some people just don 't like dogs. It 's totally fair enough. But it was frustrating because it meant we then had to stand outside in the rain and the cold. The information online is clearly out of date and needs changing. I just thought I 'd do a review to give other dog walkers a heads up, and make the owners aware that the online information is incorrect. The pub itself though is nice enough though. I 'll definitely go again but next time I 'll have to leave the dog at home."
