"Restaurant itself looks unappealing with takeaway packaging stacked floor to ceiling by the entrance and the whole place looks tired. Both the poppadoms and naan we're overcooked (base of naan was black). Bhuna sauce was watery and over large chunks of chicken meant that the meat lacked flavour. The food wasn't expensive but it certainly wasn't cheap as a takeaway. The whole experience felt like the staff have given up don't care. Won't be back, there are lots of better places."

"Raw uncooked dough on a keema naan. Unseasoned mush in a samosa. Tasteless watery Pathia. And the toughness of the lamb was a disgrace. Although it had now flavour than the chicken. Worst take away I've had in Surrey. Avoid it. Bhaji's maybe worth 3/5. Bombay potato ungradeable."

"Bought a pizza enchilada wrap from here last Friday after I had just finished a lengthy shift I was absolutely starving. The food arrived hot than i bargained for, seemed fresh but they put mushrooms in the enchiladas Which I hate by the way it did not stat this in the menu. The mexican pizza was so spicey just rammed with chilli that I couldn't eat it I love spicey food. I love a singapore salt chilli dishes, I can eat these no problem. I ate one slice I was sweating even the garlic sauce didn't stop the burning nor did milk. Went in the bin. Waste of money."

"I love this restaurant. Small and friendly, with a great menu that takes in all the classics and features some superb Bangladeshi specialities. Ask for Shakora fish it's the best I have tasted. It's also good value. I had poppadoms, a curry main with pilau rice, tarka dahl and two glasses of very decent wine for just over £30. Highly recommended. For Brighton, that's a real bargain."

"We visited here with friends. We had not been here for a while . Since then there has been a complete refurbishment. This is to a very high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was beautiful and there was plenty of it. We only had Poppadams as a start which we were we were glad of as the main meal was more than sufficient. We all said that the price was good also working out at about £80 per couple which included a few drinks each. We definitely have plans to come back again."

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."
