"Completely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Full English Breakfast with tea, and they arrived together as requested. However, the tea was served in a small espresso cup on a saucer, and I had to ask for milk as it came in a milk jar with a lid. The breakfast itself was as advertised, but the plate it was served on was cold, causing the food to quickly cool down. The eggs were undercooked, and the plate was too small for the serving, resulting in the toasted bread falling off. The atmosphere was good, and the initial waitress was adequate, but no one checked in to see if everything was satisfactory. If they had, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction then and there."

"My husband and I were disappointed to find out that our favorite Pasta Restaurant had closed, so we were in search of a new dining spot for our Theatre Visits to the Park Theatre. Since we enjoy Lebanese food, we decided to try out My Cottage Restaurant. We arrived a bit early due to lighter-than-expected traffic and were greeted somewhat indifferently. The restaurant was narrow and deep, with slightly worn furniture and fittings. The table was sticky and the cutlery and crockery had water stains. We ordered apple juice with mint and a bottle of sparkling water, which turned out to be a small 330ml bottle of Perrier Water. For starters, we had Potato Harra and Makdous, followed by Qormeh Sabzi and Lahm Mashwi. To our surprise, the main courses arrived before the starters. The Potato Harra was flavorful, but the Qormeh Sabzi was disappointing and lacked seasoning. The Aubergine and Lamb were also underwhelming. The baklawa for dessert was tasty and well-baked. When we asked for the bill, we were informed that their card machine was not working, so we had to pay with cash. Overall, the restaurant was quirky and tired, with mediocre food and service. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. While the meal was not cheap at £85, it did not meet the standards of other Lebanese restaurants in London. It is unlikely that we will be returning to this restaurant."

"The restaurant has nice tables and it was good you could see pictures of the dishes on their menu so you knew what you were getting as a lot of the things were new to us. We ordered quite a few things including the za'atar vegetable wrap, fava beans with sour sauce, manakish muhammara (red pepper paste pizza) and a spinach fatayer (pie) as it was all so cheap we thought we would need to order more. We simply could not finish it all! It was such great value and everything was so delicious. I would recommend to anyone in the area and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There is so much choice at really great prices. The only thing which I would have liked is there to be wooden or biodegradable cutlery, not plastic. We were also given plastic cups for water so any other material would have improved the experience as I felt guilty for using single use plastic."

"Awful experience. Food was terrible and service even worse. We felt pushed into ordering what the owner recommended and then it turns out they were starters only and tasted awful. When we asked for the bill we were charged nearly £50 for what was a few starters that tasted awful Would not recommend this place at all, Owner was rude and pushy"

"My friends and I dined at Savaro's in Honley recently and were pleasantly surprised by our meal. We opted for main dishes that were just the right size, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The menu's variety of cold and hot mezes, as well as the option to mix and match, was appealing and versatile, particularly for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the house wine and certain desserts were already sold out (it was an early Friday evening), but we were happy we had requested a secluded corner as noise from larger groups could be heard. Overall, we highly recommend Savaro's."
