"I recently dined at a new South Indian/Sri Lankan restaurant in Reading. My first impression was positive. The cozy atmosphere provided a refreshing change from other restaurants that often have a more commercial taste."

"Chicken Shish was ok but Lamb Doner way over cooked and stone cold majority of it went straight in the bin disappointing after leaving a msg not to over cook. Not the usual Tuana standards."

"The food at this restaurant is top-notch, with delicious dishes that are also reasonably priced. While the atmosphere and service could be better, it is still a good spot for lunch or a casual dinner."

"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"During our visit to the local hospital, we ordered takeout from this nearby restaurant and they were incredibly kind to us. The food was fantastic and it's a very popular spot. My personal favorite is their lamb shwarma."

"I visited this restaurant with a group of family and friends for a casual celebration. It was a last-minute plan, but the staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly. The food was excellent, and overall, it was a delightful experience. I will definitely be back!"

"The place was virtually empty and we had to almost bellow across the room to get the attention of the servers. A glass of, admittedly fresh, orange juice should not cost the same price as a glass of wine, which was £7! The wings, cutlets and baklava were good…the fries were flabby and lukewarm unlike the bread which was steaming hot and lovely and crisp. Fabulous baklava. The toilets whilst clean were in a state of disrepair…cracked sink, random pipe/hose on the floor. If I was in the area and fancied some Lebanese food, this wouldn’t be my first choice"

"I regret not taking photos, but no picture could do justice to the high quality and amazing taste of the food at this restaurant! We ordered the mixed grill, lamb curry, qabili pilau, and chapli kebab. Every dish deserves 5 stars! I highly recommend this place. (On our second visit, the meat was a bit tough to chew.)"

"We booked without checking the menu, and didn't realise their main course is build around rotisserie chicken. I don't eat meat, so we opted for some starters and salads with sides a burrata salad with a side of new potatoes for me, and a cesar salad with extra shredded chicken and a side of truffle mac n cheese for hubby. Food was delicious and well presented. Cocotte spritz is nice and refreshing, and they can make a **** mary which isn't on the menu but is very good. It got a bit noisy so if you would like a more private dinner ask for a quiet table, there are a few standalone ones."

"No doubt their lamb Sharwarma and sautéed liver is a show stopper here. It's BYOB, Chefs, and Staff are very attentive, a very nice ambience (warm, clean, and cosy). What more can you ask for... the price? Very reasonable! It's £7-8.00 for their lunch menu offer (12 -4 pm) so you can taste the good food for yourselves. I've been eating here for three years or more, I think, and the standards of quality are well maintained. See you tomorrow, guys!"

"Some of the reviews on here are pretty obviously fake, this restaurant opened up a couple of doors down from an existing Iranian restaurant and I think a lot of reviews on both side are part of restaurant wars We arrived and I was nervous my Iranian father's birthday and we were the only diners in there. We started off with some drinks (the beer on tap was pretty flat) and some freshly made bread, herbs, feta and dips. Baba Ganoush was the best I have had anywhere proper smokey and full of garlic. The bread was different class melt in the mouth, light and straight out of the clay oven. I would literally come back just for that.Mains were classic Persian kebabs good cuts of lamb and chicken expertly prepared and beautifully grilled. Lamb chops were over but the rest was outstanding. Rice (and every Persian cook is judged on their rice) was great. Light and perfectly cooked. We didn't try the Khoresht (stews) as nothing is going to be as good as my mums !Overall, great value, great food, great service, average beer will definitely be visiting again. The sort of food where you are planning your next visit straight after your last."

"We were disappointed to find that our reservations were not honored at the beginning of our dining experience. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us with an available table. After waiting 10 minutes for a menu, we were directed to use a QR code instead. The staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than attending to us. Although the food was enjoyable, we didn't feel like our dining experience was special or worth celebrating."

"This is a fantastic place to eat. I had a quick meal with my colleagues around 3pm, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The service was fast and the location is excellent. You can't go wrong dining here."
