"My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, thanks to the lovely waitress named Olesia. I was fascinated by the flowers in the Greek mountain teapot, and she made extra effort to find these tea flowers for me and even gave me some to take home. While I asked other waiters and waitresses about the flowers in the tea, Olesia was the only one who paid attention and provided exceptional customer service based on my interest. The food was deliciously prepared, and I highly recommend trying the taramasalata here as well!"

"Today I went to @georgesfishbar In #southwoodford which isn’t just your usual fish and chip bar, they also serve the yummiest Greek Cypriot food too George’s was established in 2006 has since won so many different awards for their food- which you can view on their website. On arrival I was greeted by the owner himself George who made me feel so welcome. The shop was very busy with queues out of the door but After trying their food I could sure see why ! Tonight I had their chicken Gyros, Chips, Halloumi, Greek Salad, Cod, my parents had a chicken souvlakia each. All of the food was just so delicious !! The gyros was the best I’ve ever had. The meat was ever so fresh and tender and the actual gyros in pitta was bursting with so much flavour. The chips were the best I’ve ever had too and my parents also agreed. They had a gorgeous sweet taste to them and were cooked to pure perfection and trust me it’s definitely possible to mess chips up. The chips were also lovely thick just how I love them to be. The chicken souvlakia was also gorgeous the chicken was very tender there was plenty of it as was there plenty of salad. The fish was also delicious extremely meaty and more fish than batter which is what I love as usually most fish bars tend to give you mainly batter and hardly any fish!! All of @georgesfishbar food is 10/10 from me and extremely high quality as well as huge portions. You can definitely see how much love and effort goes into their food that all of the ingredients used are of the highest quality. The fish bar itself is also spotlessly clean and covid safe. I definitely recommend everyone to try @georgesfishbar whether it’s for just fish and chips or Greek Cypriot food or both. You won’t be disappointed ! @georgesfishbar is currently undergoing Renovation but will be open fully very soon when restaurants are allowed to reopen for seating inside. "Had a really great Xmas party here with a group of friends. Considering their captive audience I'd expect to pay less than £4 for a pint of lemonade. The hosts were lovely, a little frazzled as you can imagine with a full restaurant. The lady felt the need to check the presents I'd given out (ltr bottles of booze) to friends to see they weren't opened. I brushed this off but felt annoyed she picked up the bag herself and didn't ask to be shown. I didn't check if any other table had been treated the same. Like I say, frazzled. The food was fine, very filling. Good luck to them"

"Smell is so important for taste AND local restaurants are so important for laziness. Pure Cyprus, a stones throw away from Finsbury Park offers Greek cuisine for the local folk. Greek food for me is mezze delights such as Hummous, tahini, tzakiki and halloumi for starters. Then followed by kebab and finally some sweet baklava."

"Managed to get a table at late notice which was good. Table was small for 4 persons and dogs were allowed in which sadly for daughter was not great as she’s terrified of them. Service was fine and meal arrived quickly. The menu online is not the menu offered on a Sunday as prices are more expensive than online. (Said £6.95/7.95 and upward online) Still for £9.95 not a bad Sunday lunch price however you really don’t get a lot of food. We got one bowl of veg between 4 plenty carrots, cauliflower and cabbage but not a lot of turnip 3 spoons and it was gone. A separate bowl of mushy peas. We did not get a lot of meat and one person had only a few shredded pieces on their plate and small spoonful of mash/roasts. One large Yorkshire. Food tasted nice just don’t expect a huge portion. Desert menu was plentiful priced around £5 each. We enjoyed deserts and quite filling. Drinks reasonably priced also."

"I feel I need something more than the generic response I received after my scathing review , perhaps I wasn't clear , the food was inedible , despite being ravenous after a long road trip neither me or my friend ate more than a few mouthfuls , it was so disappointing if I had been in the restaurant I would have sent the food back demanded a refund and left. It is disingenuous to describe this as authentic greek food , it's nothing like souvlaki that I've had elsewhere , it was bland tasteless, mushy and dry and powdery like the poor quality chicken had been cooked in an overcrowded pan with no seasoning and then reheated , no colour on it, pale flabby and inedible, i felt so disappointed and it almost ruined our evening, souvlaki is cooked on skewers over charcoal , at least it is if it's authentic as the owner describes it , well the chicken hsd been about as near a grill as the elgin marbles are to the parthenon"

"Cyprianus, Locksbottom is a great restaurant. The menu is varied with a few unusual dishes. A good wine list and wine by the glass. The staff are helpful and friendly. Only issue was that one starter was totally missed. However, rectified with apologies and taken off the bill. So all good. Very busy and therefore some noise, but it was only people noise so fine. "I love the evaluation for this place that it simply summarizes as “quality of the sum of terrible. but it has at least the reason to be cheap.” I was more free. I was happy with my last outing, we were for a lunch for a bureau. dim t charlotte the road is located in a beautiful, modern environment. the al fresco seats would have been fantastic for the incoming afternoon rays. as pan-Asian restaurant has nothing on the menu much authenticity in taste, so they would forgive if they thought that this was not Asian dishes. I was the $9.25 tonpot chicken. the less desirable chicken breast is here the choice, and inclusions of dates, mushrooms, veges in an oyster and soy sauce. that means being in a traditional tonpot, but not actually in a traditional tonpot, let alone a modern tonpot. I enjoyed the court, not so much for a traditional taste, but as a competent iron frit. the use of huh was too safe and would have preferred a thicker, multi-layered taste level in the soße."

"I visited this restaurant with my fiancée, and we enjoyed a lovely meal. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the interior is spacious, making it easy to accommodate large groups. We started with the cuddly and octopus as appetizers, followed by lobster and Dover sole for our main courses. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The desserts were also lovely, all made in-house. The prices are very reasonable for a seafood restaurant. For those who want something different, there are kebabs and steaks on the menu as well. The owner was very friendly, and the service was excellent. It was quite quiet when we were there, but I sincerely hope this place thrives. It’s a wonderful addition to Southgate!"

"We went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch and decided to order from the happy hour lunch menu. For starters, we had the pate with salad, which was very tasty. The salad dressing was delicious and everything tasted freshly made. For the main course, we chose the chorizo chicken pasta, which had plenty of chicken chunks mixed in with the pasta. The sauce was creamy and had a nice kick of spice. All of the dishes were freshly made and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try the two steaks for £35 deal, as the couple at the table next to us had it and it looked amazing."
