"This is a review of a restaurant that I had a disappointing experience at. Upon arriving, I ordered a hoagie that had an unexpected ingredient in it. When I questioned the staff member about it, he made inappropriate comments about wanting to explore my body. He then followed a minor into the restroom, and the child was not seen again after he left. This behavior is absolutely disgusting, especially for a restaurant with "king" in its name. Stay away from this establishment."

"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. When I got through, I made a point to come back. overpriced restaurants could learn something or two from these youngs. service with a smile, also had the huh tikka, which is delicious. recommended and five stars all over the way. If I'm ever up the neck of the forest, this place is saved in my favorites."

"The food at this restaurant was amazing, but there was a language barrier with the staff that made it challenging to effectively communicate. The service was decent and we ordered takeout for dinner. The price per person was between £1-10. The food was rated a 5, while the service and atmosphere were rated a 3. Recommended dishes include Mix Pakora, Chips Cheese, Tandoori Chicken, and Kebab Munch."

"1st time I've tried this place and i give 5 stars, the food was delivered perfectly, a lot of care taken in the delivery of your food and was as hot and fresh as if i was in the restaurant. not 1 poppadom was broken, as i have found with other take away places i have been to. this is definitely some of the best quality fair priced Indian food you can buy in London. the only problem i had was the coconut rice tasted a little too sweet for me but the Tandoori mixed grill was 10/10."

"This restaurant is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Glasgow. I have no complaints about this place at all. I have been a regular here for quite some time now."

"The dining experience was very enjoyable, especially the salmon fish which is a must-try. The grilled burgers were fresh and flavorful. The mixed grill dish was excellent."

"Last night I ate at the south bank tandoori with a friend who is dad, recommend the restaurant. we went to a impulsive decision after we decided that we felt too lazy to make our own dinner, so we decided to spend money that we had not, oh student life! we arrived at the very full restaurant and managed to get a table for two immediately. it was jam, a good sign for promising eating. we had a series of options on the menu from which we chose a selection. they have taken the ones to my friend a kartoffel corma rather than chickens (as it is vegetarian) very nicely. the service was a little strange, they explained that they were understaffed, but the team of the staff...read more"

"I’ve walked past here so many times when heading to the station and finally getting to try it didn’t disappoint. Inside it’s a lot smaller than I had imagined and upon arrival the reception staff were a little blunt, but the impressive decor was enough to distract and fortunately the rest of the staff throughout the meal were superb. They were each able to recommend dishes and explain the options, all while remaining friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive and mostly geared around ‘special’ dishes, leaving the more traditional items to a small easily missable section. This encouraged me to try something new and I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken liver starter was a decent size, arriving in good time (especially since the size of our group) and thoroughly enjoyable. The presentation of all the starters on the table was good and no one had any complaints. The mains also arrived in good time and were equally well presented. The portion sizes initially didn’t look great but that must have been an illusion, since we all finished suitably stuffed! Each dish was exceptionally flavoursome, with just the right amount of spice and herbs justifying the special promise of each item on the menu. The rice dishes were delicious and the keema rice had loads of meat in it which was superb. The naan breads were a particular speciality they are served huge hanging from the table and are delicious. Overall every item on the table was delicious and impressive. The tables are all very large making them ideally suited for groups. They compliment the decor and are works of art in themselves. It’s nice for the kitchen area to be open and if you’re sat nearby to it it’s entertaining watching the skilful staff make the breads. The drinks were a little slow to be served but perhaps this wasn’t helped by the size of our group. Overall it was a wonderful meal and a memorable curry. It’s certainly not the cheapest but the quality of food and more unique aspects make it worthwhile and I’d certainly return."

"I have visited many Indian restaurants, but I can confidently say that this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever seen. While it may deceive some foreign customers, it did not fool me. The chicken biryani, which they sell for £3, is flavorless, likely because it seems to be reheated from a batch made at the beginning of the week. The staff even asked if I wanted it cold—who wants biryani cold?! The samosa was lukewarm, but after reheating it, it was passable, although not impressive. The roti was bland and falling apart, disappointing to say the least. As for the lassi, it was the worst I have ever tasted, resembling a concoction of milk, sugar, and yogurt blended without care. The kitchen lacks hygiene practices, with staff not using gloves or hairnets—I even saw a worker handling my samosa with wet hands. While the prices are relatively cheap, the quality of the food does not justify even that. I have shared pictures to support my criticisms and will not be returning to this establishment. To the owner: I am willing to pay more for better-quality food. This experience was an insult to Pakistani/Indian cuisine."

"Ordered one meal for one person for £9 and one meal that was advertised for two to three people at £16. The meal for one had more meat than the larger meal which was basically a Tupperware full of rice. Really disappointed. Also it’s just dawned on me that if all their food is cold and has an option of being heated at an extra cost it’s not freshly cooked and we have no idea how long it’s been in the fridge. I will never order from here again and I suggest you try somewhere else"

"I like good food, but I'm not particularly demanding either. This food is by far the worst I've ever tasted in Birmingham since the last 10 years or so. I ordered 2 kebabs (pita chicken) and a cheese burger. I was hungry yet I couldn't eat any of them. The burger meated tastes like polystyrene or something. Kebab meat was greasy beyond imagination. There are many kinds of quality in kebab meat, this one is clearly the bottom one. It was also full of these cheap chili and mayo sauce. The overall impression is that every single ingredient of this food is the cheapest existing on the market. Don't expect to enjoy this food, except if you are accustomed to extremely low standards."
