"I reserved the Bistro for my 60th Birthday dinner with a party of 24. We chose the 2 course Celebration menu, which was a fixed price and perfect for our group. The food was outstanding on the night, the service was exceptional, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I believe the restaurant may have gained some new customers from our experience. They even took care of cutting and packaging my birthday cake since we were all too full to eat anymore. My birthday celebration at the Bistro was everything I had hoped for!"

"Great food and very good environment. Went there for an iftar buffet and it was superb. The variety was great and the taste of the food was really good. All halal and plenty vegetarian options. The juice and the dates were so good and the real treat was the tea at the end! Definitely will go there again. I really am sad to take off two stars. Went there again and at the counter I was charged 10 pounds for my 2.5 year old with eating disorder. When we told him he said we charge for the seat, not the food!!!! So pay 10 pounds for my toddler to just sit on their chair??? Then he changed his mind and took off the 10 pounds from our bill and made a face as if we are beggars. My husband asked him many times to take it but he just said it’s ok. During the iftar I stood in long queues for the food and by the time I arrived, there were no grills. I went back to my table and tried again with the long queues and ended up having no grills again. Finally I was so full that I came back without eating grills that I loved so much during my first visit. During iftar cashier gentleman went around tables asking people how the food and service was, he never came to our table and gave us stares as if we are went there for free food. Overall the experience was very bad. Such a shame"

"I used to think of this place as the best Indian in East kilbride we get Christmas Dinner every year from them and order at least once ever few months, but I will not be ordering again. Over the last year they have massively went down hill the korma sauce is literally like water now with hardly any taste and the sweet nans are terrible can't even call it a sweet nan anymore as there is basically no filling. It's a shame it has went so badly but unfortunately will not be ordering again as are other Indians in East kilbride that are better than it. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We really enjoyed our meal here as 1st timers. The manager found us seats on a busy Saturday afternoon within 5 minutes. I really liled the decor as it was modern and of a good quality finish. The green velour bench was quite nice. Our mussel starter with sourdough had nice big shells but I wasnt 100% in favour of the scent of the sauce. Tasted fine though and we both ate them all. My wifes main of seabass and potatoes with chorizo was delicious and my Chicken Millanese was tender and the pasta was just still aldente. Not enough chilli in the sauce to taste it. I reccommend this restaurant for quality authentic itallian good at reasonable prices with great service."

"Really high quality and an excellent selection of food. The menu has great options for traditional and contemporary Japanese starters, mains and sides. If you love sushi Oiishi 's sushi chefs always deliver amazing sushi, and yet again there is a large selection from full fancy rolls to smaller portions. If you 've not tried sushi and are unsure of it, don 't be afraid to order something small as a side or a larger roll as a shared side for the table. People can often be put off by the idea of 'raw ' fish, however Oiishi use sushi grade fish that is the highest quality fish you can buy and is safe for consumption raw. Of course there are also options for cooked fish, tempura (battered) or vegetables sushi. I highly recommend the traditional ramen bowl, grilled Unagi Nigiri and the Black or Green Dragon Rolls."
