"2nd delivery ordered after a few weeks of trying Miah takeaway. The food that was delivered was tasty as the 1st time was. That said the service was somewhat questionable!! Firstly a food delivery arrived within the said time! Unfortunately it was a meal for 1 when we’d ordered for a family of 4, it wasn’t anything we’d ordered! Then after numerous calls by my wife (mainly just cut off) once answered we got the standard ‘we’ve got a new driver making mistakes’ ‘we are really busy and it will be there soon’. 2hrs after order the correct food arrives ‘we’d been asked to keep the food that originally arrived’ and we sent that back untouched as I’m not disposing of their error, we also had a number of ordered and paid for accompaniments not in the delivery!! So as a few words of advice for a company that provides good tasty food, if you get the service right you could clear up in terms of market share in this area, unfortunately you are falling short at this moment in terms of consistent high service delivery."

"After waiting over 2 hours for our food, we were disappointed to be greeted with a greasy and sloppy box of food. When we called for an update, we were met with a rude and incoherent response, indicating that the person may have been intoxicated. We will not be dining at this restaurant again. Good luck to them if the Health and Safety Executive comes for an inspection."

"Food was delicious. I felt that the rice to share was certainly very small and we were eating from the a La carte menu. We asked for desert and a coffee they didn’t have the desert we wanted and the coffee machine was out of order. I also asked for irn bru and they didn’t have that either. Overall was a nice meal, however let down by lack of things on the menu."

"very nice restaurant. love the interiors. beautiful looking place with a bar. and apparently they soon open a Sheesha lounge and look forward to it! had a great experience here. Eat: we started with Indian ingwer and Masala tea, which was really good, and pappadum. for the main course we ordered chicken tikka masala and a fried rice, dhaba chicken and pilaureis and Karahi sprout with plain naan. I must say we were not disappointed by any of the dishes. the food was delicious and portioned enough to fill it completely. price: a little expensive, too little for us students, but I would say it worth it. service: the staff is very polite and beautiful! very happy with the service. definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves or wants to try good Indian food!"

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."

"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"I came here with my baby &pushchair) and friend. Though some other restaurants on the same street to one look at my buggy and said we should have made a reservation this Indian managed to sit us without waiting complication on a Saturday evening. The service was prompt yet we didn’t feel rushed to leave being given the bill until we asked for it. That was nice as my friend and I had a lot to catch up on. Now about the food. It was really tasty and presented very well. I couldn’t see a problem with this restaurant. If I had seen the restaurant review here on Google beforehand I would definitely not have eaten here but I’m glad I didn’t. Excellent place."

"I regularly order pizza, burgers, and spicy fritters from this restaurant. Occasionally, I also enjoy chips with cheese, pakoras, and donner kebabs. I have never had any issues with the food, and the staff are always accommodating of food allergies. They also patiently wait for you to make a decision. I would highly recommend this takeaway for a delicious treat."

"Great take away for Indian food. We tried the Saag Paneer Muttar and the garam masala. We also ordered the special rice and chicken fried rice. It was great! Definitely my go to Indian take out in Aberdeen! To our surprise, we ordered pizza and it was amazing!!! We could not believe how tasty it was! Of course it's not authentic pizza but it's an Indian pizza. The bread tasted like naan and it's amazing! There were so many dishes to choose from and it took us quite awhile to decide which one we wanted to order. We waited quite long for the order but definitely worth the wait."

"Still the best local Indian restaurant with a great menu and truly fantastic service! Some restaurants reinvent themselves as they have become complacent, stale, even stuck in the past….. "0 STARS!! I had to mark one to be able to post. Disgusting customer service/management. I have never spoken to such a rude and cheeky manager in my life. I ordered food yesterday which arrived over one hour later, all cold and short of one box of chips. When I called to complain, I was asked to call the day after as they were closing. I have called today reporting that one box was missing yesterday and that all food was cold and arrived after hours which was over an hour late from what was promised. The manager said that I want to get those chips today I have to pay for delivery or they can drop me pounds to my door for the chips but no chips. He also said to forget to get any compensation for anything else and made very rude remarks. If I knew the place was operated by such disgusting people I would have never in my life ordered anything from that shop. I paid for cold food which arrived after more than hours and without one box of chips and cheese. That is shocking and unacceptable. I will make sure that message is passed to everybody I know to warn them from ordering from this place."

"Ordered directly from here for a takeaway and wasn't disappointed. Tasty food! We had curry and roti for two and we were given free bombay potatoes. Very generous with the popadoms too. Only reason I won't give 5 stars is I like my curry with a lot of sauce for dipping, but it was loaded full of vegetables instead. Very nice though I will order from you again, thank you!"

"Visited on a whim, and Indian food is something I do enjoy. Sat downstairs and my order was taken right away. Poppadoms and a variety of sauces were brought and I nibbled whilst waiting for the meal I ordered. It only took minutes and was delivered, piping hot. It was fabulous, really well cooked and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for fast and friendly service and a lovely meal. It was, I feel, a tad pricy, the rice was separate, and although they do meal deals, this was outwith the times. However, it is in St.Andrews so that seems to be on par with Edinburgh pricing. Lovely meal though."
