"Visited on a Tuesday evening. The food was beyond dry like it was left overs from the weekend.For starters we had burnt end. They were more like lumps of charcoal. I get there burnt end these were incinerated.For mains we had the brisket, again really really dry. It was a struggle to eat it. The chips were the only nice part.No one checked on us while eating. Then when paying the bill when asked how it was we say it was ok ish no follow up to this by staff member. Couldn't be bothered to argue as my partner and I were beyond disappointed. We just wanted to get home as we had travelled to visit on glowing reviews. Will not be revisiting any time in the future."

"Came here for something to eat/anniversary dinner before going to Sadler's Wells.....normally we go to The Gate further down towards the Theatre but its closed so we needed a new venue without just walking around. I found this on line. This was perfect.....The main courses...of Steak and Muscles we had were perfectly cooked as was the location and the staff.....especially the staff. However....the best bit was the Banoffee and Ice cream desert......just perfect and lovely....Make sure you have space for desert....I think during the day they will do lots of deserts with a cup of tea as these are all at the front of the Restaurant. There are a lot of places in this area...In our experience if you chose the F&O you will have a great meal, in a great location. Thank you for starting our evening off in a perfect way....And the Nutcracker at SW was great as well."

"We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table where we were offered drinks and menus. We had booked afternoon tea, which was absolutely delicious. We found ourselves needing more sandwiches so we ordered extra, which we had to pay for separately. We also needed to request another pot of tea. The restaurant had a peaceful and beautifully decorated ambiance. Our only disappointment was that our table was a bit too small for all five adults, and we could have used a third table for more comfort. Overall, thank you for the pleasant experience."

"I love this place and have been many times. However this last visit not so good. after ordering a bottle of Prosecco the waitress put it unopened in an ice bucket in front of me. Then came back with two glasses one chipped not her fault) was replaced. When I then said are you not opening the Prosecco she looked at me and expressed surprise that I wanted her to open it. She duly opened it. We waited a long time and had to call for coffees and the bill. One waitress very busy in deep conversation with someone sitting at the bar. Very unusual to have a bad experience here but just thought it worth mentioning."

"Been meaning to go to the Store for a roast dinner for a while as i have eaten here before and the atmosphere, drinks and food have always been top. Unfortunately the roast dinner did not live up to expectations. The roast beef is 19£ in which you would expect it to be very high standard. We ordered all the sides as it was a girly get together and we had been looking forward to the roast for ages. To our surprise, the food came out pretty quick we ordered 2 x beef and 1 chicken. The beef had 1 slice of beef 2 potato 2 carrots some sort of small onion cabbage thing and 1 piece of broccoli and a dried out Yorkshire pudding FOR 19£!! I couldn't believe it, our sides then came out the cauliflower cheese had hardly any cheese or sauce, the pigs in blankets were burnt and some missing blankets, the stuffing was the only decent side. My other friends chicken then came out which looked like a better portion side but was unfortunately cold. She sent this straight back and believes that it was microwaved and given back to her so she refused it. Me and my other friend was so hungry we had no choice but to eat the food. We pulled this up with the waitress and if im honest she couldnt have been happier to help. They dealt with the situation very well. We was offered a discount on the food and extra roasties. I can say that when eatting the roast the gravy was good but the potatoes were not good and the lack of food on the plate for 19£ put an overall sore taste in our months. The way the staff handle the complaint was second to none so on this basis i will be returning to the restaurant just probably not order a roast. If the price wasnt so high there wouldnt be such high expectations. Maybe something to consider for the future."

"Booked a table for 6 for and upon arrival we were shoved in the corner with 3 makeshift tables. 1 square table, 1 wobbly round table and 1 smaller round table. When addressed the situation to the staff they rudely had stated that other table of 6 was reserved which had confused me. If I’m making a reservation through OpenTable since when could you allocate a table to yourself? So I stated this to staff and their tone of voice changed and rudely stated ‘the table is reserved and we only have your allocated table’. So in HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT we agreed to sit at our allocated makeshift table. Moments later the other party had arrived only to find out, it was the staff members friends/family. Even when placing our food and drinks order, staff were rude and inattentive. Very disappointing, wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all."

"highly recommended, sapores, my husband and I went as last minute booking for my birthday and I honestly had a brilliant experience. they will not be disappointed. first, the decor was beautiful! everything from the facility to the toilet was clean and immaculate. we were served by ikram who was asking with his friendly service and his recommendation as well as the others who all came to us several times how the food/shot was and when we needed something I never felt so relaxed and happy. other companies need to learn a few things about sapores staff labels! we went with ikram's suggestion of Shisha-Aroma; tropical vibes and it was the best taste I've been trying for a long time. the food met the place and presentation was immaculate. the burgers were full of taste and so were the chiffren, juicy and juicy. as I told the owner who asked us how everything was my answer; a* with a . they don't get this kind of service anywhere and it was the best. keep it up, I hope nothing but the growth of their business. "Somewhat reminiscent of the very chic Restaurant L'Elephant in Ibiza, this new addition to the Clapham bar restaurant scene has left me a bit undecided. We tried it on a perfect sunny Spring day, which certainly helped give it a cool holiday vibe gorgeous sunshine pouring into the room making the all white interior and sparkly furnishings seem refreshing and different for the neighbourhood. It has a small terrace at the front with doors onto the street, which again gives it a relaxed, slightly mediterranean ish, atmosphere. The food was ok, bit bland and nothing special at all (probably done on the cheap), but pleasant enough and hit the spot. Sitting just next to the terrace on a high table in the sunshine reading the paper was a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. However, something about the place doesn't make me want to give it any more than 3 stars. Without the sunshine it would have been a totally different experience I couldn't imagine visiting this place during the winter. It will probably only work on a sunny day to keep the holiday vibe alive and excuse the tacky decor around the edges. I can also imagine the white sofas and chairs looking grubby in about 3 weeks, and it being full of WAGS! The crowd this morning were quite relaxed, but I fear that won't last. So all in all I like what they are trying to do, especially as I love L'Elephant, but my worry is that it will become a magnet for a certain type of punter, which if you know I mean by that, it may not be your kind of place! If you can see through the fake glitz of the furniture, the mediocre food, and enjoy the perfectly reasonable latte, you'll have a nice time."
