"Allowed to book onto the set menu for 7:30, arrived and told the set menu isn’t available after 7. Spoke with the manager who was rude, unable to deal with accordingly and actually had no experience in handling with issues. One person missed off for drinks and another wrong item arrived on the table when the food did arrive. Lovely food but well over priced and no service to match"

"The ambiance and service were excellent. There was a slight drop in quality during the Corona lockdown period, but now everything is back to being top-notch! "I have been visiting this restaurant in Chelsea for many years now and always had a positive experience but last night it was quite the opposite. We went with my friends around 7:30 on a Sunday evening, while waiting for a table the waiter mumbled something that we did not quite get. Bottom line is that they were closing a few minutes after and we did not know, they served us the food in a rush,while eating it the music was turned off, we realised what was happening, the whole thing was very uncomfortable, adding the fact that they were all very rude.I asked one of them, if they were closing and the answer was, yes , acting offended that we did not know and it was our fault that they could not leave. We rushed to leave and felt very uncomfortable,I worked in catering and I know well how it works I would never go into a place that is closing. I also want to add that there was no 'opening hours written at the door and to me you the staff did not care to be clear about it ,especially in a restaurant, before taking an order. is it the customers fault if you frustrated at work?You should be clearer and advice people humanly, we would have gone somewhere else. I believe that this behaviour could be easily avoided, your staff should be kinder to customer and more communicative. Funny enough, in so many years the pancake never changed size, strangely enough they were much smaller last night, coincidence ?"

"The experience was disappointing. The shakes and smoothies were decent but overpriced. My boyfriend's savory pancake was dry and bland, not worth the nearly £20 price tag. My fruit sweet mini pancakes were good, but the whipped cream tasted like it came from a can and the fruit was not fresh. The service from our waitress was dismissive and rude. Overall, not worth the cost and the quality fell far below expectations."

"I would not recommend this restaurent to anybody. There is no service what so ever. To start with the waiter sat us at the table, give it to us a menu and said we to order over there ... pointing on the bar. Did not offer any drink, did not stay to answer any questions regarding menu, actually did not do nothing at all. On the top of that there was o cash only transactions ... who carry cash in this days??? Didn't even had a chances to try the food however, if food is as good as a service I have received I am glad I went to near by restaurant. And had a spectacular date there."

"We chose this pub to take a small break on our way to the Battle of Hastings historical site, which was an easy walk from train station. Very friendly staff and a nice chocolate cake slice made us decide to do Sunday roast on the way back. The food was good, especially the roasted vegetables and the Yorkshire pudding. We chose to eat in the back garden, which had picnic tables and a play area for kids. What made our experience so nice were the friendly staff."
