"the bottlecrue is a fantastic place in a picturesque environment, conveniently 2 minutes walk from the St paul Metro Station. the bar is divided into several rooms so that the capacity for an immersive and cosmopolitan nightlife experience, with a separate breakout space for rent and private parties at conferences and workshops available, I also think. they make an excellent menu, plus a special vegan / vegetarian menu if required. the staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. they went out of their way to ensure that our event ran as smoothly as possible and completely accepted our needs, even our own private waiter in the night organized. could not recommend this place enough!"

"I dined here with a friend, just as a catch up dinner. The food was lovely but the service really let it down. We were not given the menu as described on the offer so just ordered off the main menu and then questioned the 2 course deal after with the manager as she was walking past. She made a comment that the waiters basically keep forgetting to put the 2 or 3 course deal menu's out, which to me highlighted the bad service we got! She was very kind and offered to either take the starters off or a glass of champagne for free. I am really glad we opted for the starters being taken off as we went into the bathrooms as we were leaving and discovered that we should have gotten the glass of champagne anyway as it was part of an offer they had for their birthday! I would go back but will be wary next time."

"This is the cutest collaboration ever! i love their matcha latte, perfect taste, not too sweet, but could've probably added more matcha as i like mine a bit strong. The Houjicha soft seeve was my absolute favourite! It was perfectly paired with the tangyness of the berry coulis and the crunch of the granola added a nice texture. The poke felt very healthy, which i is what i was looking for. I chose the zoodles instead of the traditional rice, and it was so simple, tasty and refreshing!"

"Great location, tucked away in Liverpool Street. Lively bar scene, with a great outdoor area. There was an initial mix up with the booking as Open Table was listing table availability that did not match with actual availability at the venue; I would recommend calling ahead to confirm your OT booking with the restaurant itself to avoid confusion. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly despite this, working to accommodate our booking request anyway. We received prompt service throughout the evening, despite how busy it was on the Bank Holiday. Food and drinks were great quality at a fair price. Would recommend and would return."

"We arrived to find that our reservation had not been recorded. We ended up at a very cramped table and had to wait a long time to get the attention of a server. The white wine was served at room temperature, and the noise level was overwhelming since there was no sound-absorbing material in the restaurant. If you're looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, this is definitely not it."

"As the title says... It 's usually good, the food is pretty good, the wine list is brilliant. However the last time I visited with a family member things weren 't so great, well, at first all was well. Then we ordered a couple of glasses of a nice 1985 vintage port; this is where it went askew... There was more sediment than port in the glass, yeah, sure you expect a bit but if it has been decanted properly then there should be very little... and when we brought it up the waitress said something along the lines of 'you shouldn 't have ordered vintage port then '.... NOT great when you 're paying £25 for a glass of port. It 's disappointing because usually El Vinos is pretty damn good."

"I would recommend ElVino to friends. The booze is good, the food is fine and the ambience was very good as it was near Christmas. However the service was inattentive as it took us ages to get served despite only a few diners being in. Worst of all by far was the fact that our booking wasn’t in the booking book, due to Open Table not updating the restaurant. This is totally unacceptable. So would I recommend El Vino, yes. Would I ever use Open Table again, absolutely not unless something changes and I will let others know to do the same."

"I have been going to this wine bar for several years now, and I feel it was a mistake not to write a review sooner since it's our go-to spot for work and it had never occurred to me. However, after our Christmas party today, I must say there is something special about this place, especially when it comes to their exceptional customer service, something rare to find in central London. The staff is always attentive and accommodating, and the food never fails to impress. I must give a special shout-out to their bangers and mash, which I believe is the best in the SW1 area. "The wine bar is a=in a yard near the British Museum, ideal for somewhere to refresh yourself after a cultural visit . We had booked an outside table for lunch. It was cold but we were under a shelter with overhead heaters kept most the cold out It was their first day back after teh Xmas break so menu options were limited We started with adelightful bottle of Albairino. The food we had varied from soups of the day, salads and fish and chips, we ordered extra chips to share The food was good what you would expect as good pub food. The waiting staff were excellent and could not have tried harder. Our waitress had an amazing memory taking an order for 6 different types of coffee and then delivering them to the right people without taking notes. Bravo! We had a very nice time here"
