"This restaurant was truly exceptional! Despite being very busy, we were able to secure a late reservation. The food was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. We enjoyed a seafood platter, goatcheese mousse, ham hough, and oysters. For mains, we indulged in surf and turf (halibut and pigeon), ribeye steak, and delicious sides. We even took home some desserts that were heavenly. The staff truly made the experience even more memorable, with Elise and Nicki providing excellent service and knowledge about the menu, and bartender Sharice making a perfect after-dinner cocktail. It's definitely worth the price and time if you have the opportunity. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."

"The starters that my husband and I had, were delicious and we were so excited to get our mains and that’s where it all went downhill. My husband steak (rib-eye) was just edible however, mine was inedible due to fat and the outside of the steak, being burnt (also a rib-eye). I did politely tell them and rightfully so, they didn’t charge me for my steak. They charged me for my sauce and side but hey ho. The bottle of Shiraz had LOTS of crystallised segments in it, to the point I couldn’t finish my last glass. Nothing was done about this when I also mentioned and showed the waitress. I was just told it was the amount of sugar that was in that particular bottle???? Was very disappointed."

"Now, this is a place where they get a lot of sandwiches and some can only be created by them because of the cyo (create your own) menu offered here. in this, first they get to choose their salat base, which has ingredients such as salat, nudel, cousin or brown basmati rice, then they get their sandwich ingredients of meat, milk, fruit and veg and finally get them to choose from a great selection of dressings. I personally loved the champagne skyberry and the low-fat chili. I feel that this is a big change of ordinary almost food steers."

"great place for lunch. tossed offers a wide range of healthy packs, salads, pots, smoothies and juices they can go there several times the week and not get bored! I recommend the packs and salads, especially the salmon superfood salad. there is a quirky detail about the ordering of foods and drinks that do not go on the 'grob' section they are assigned a prominent name on their reception (e.g. marylin monroe) and when they hear someone who calls out this name, that means that you are ready to eat!"

"I went to this restaurant for the first time with a friend and liked it so much that I returned later in the same week with my family. "I have been visiting this restaurant since the day it opened, and I have noticed that the young staff have continued to impress with their evolving menus. The service is excellent and the food is delicious (I highly recommend trying the Thai curry with rice, it's perfect!). The menus are regularly updated which keeps things interesting, but I'm glad they continue to offer popular dishes like the Thai curry. I always leave feeling satisfied. "I went her with such such high expectations, amazing sign, great decor, nice branding. You walk in and are let down by the sight of chicken and salad and just think just another sub-standard baguette shop, another competitor to the great La-Minas, in my mind I thought there would be something new, imaginative, fresh. Some fresh dough pizzas? Fresh cookie dough? Something uncommon, nope. Anyway, I still thought I'd give these guys a shot, I'll go all out and spend the extra on a wrap. Had 2 different chickens mixed. The portion of bread to chicken ratio was small, no sauces, paid the extra for most the salads. Asked for a milkshake, kinder bueno and I wanted snickers mixed with it too... £1 extra!? But I thought fine, let me give it a try anyway, so in total it came to an eye watering £7 for a sub-standard wrap milkshake. So... the wrap, all I could taste was dry bread and cheese, didn't get much taste of the chicken at all, although I did try one of the chicken pieces on its own and it was actually nicely seasoned, was such a shame there wasn't enough of it, that there was no sauce so it was so dry and just a dolloping of cheese? The milkshake for me was probably the most off putting thing, it was a small takeaway cup and was so thin that it was as if I was drinking water, with a name like dough SHAKES, I was at least expecting a half decent milkshake especially paying £1 extra too! I would've given it 1/5, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this first visit (usually I like to at least go to a place twice before reviewing) and try their baguettes and actually ask them to make the milkshake thick. Moving forward, with the part of Albany road it is located where parking is difficult, and to bring in the punters after they've tried it I really believe they need to try something new like and different to what's already on the road and round the corner. At the absolute least offer different sizes of milkshakes and not charge an arm and a leg for them if they're not being executed properly. I'm more than happy to pay £3-5 for a milkshake as long as it tastes good and is the right consistency."

"We had a great meal here on my daughter's 18th birthday. We didn't tell the staff that it was a special occasion as my daughter hates a fuss but we still received warm and friendly, attentive service. The surroundings are clean, bright and decorated in a lively Mexican fashion, but most importantly the food was excellent with delicious standard fayre intermixed with some appetising, slightly more unexpected dishes. We'd been big fans of Savina over its years in Duke Street and were delighted to find that if anything it's improved in its new location. Also (really important) they've retained the giant authentic sombreros that you can find throughout the meal if you wish! Fantastic all round, many thanks for a great feast!"
