"My wife and I visited The White Lion to try out their Christmas menu. The restaurant area was warm and cozy. We were seated in a room at the back of the pub, which we jokingly referred to as 'the fridge,' as it was quite chilly. After waiting nearly 15 minutes for our drinks, we finally received them after making a complaint. Our food was eventually served, and I told the waitress that I would pay the bill right away, eat our meal, and then leave because we were so cold. She apologized and said we should have mentioned our discomfort earlier so they could have moved us to a warmer area, which left me wondering why we were seated in the cold room in the first place if we could have been relocated. To make matters worse, the radiators in 'the fridge' were barely warm. Despite the disappointing service, the food was actually very good. It's a shame that our evening was marred by the poor experience in 'the fridge.' Would I consider returning? Perhaps."
