"Mams in Knightsbridge is an Arabic cafe that has quickly become a favourite of mine. Located in the heart of the upscale neighbourhood, Mams serves up some of London's most authentic healthy Middle Eastern street food. I recently visited the restaurant and tried a few dishes that I just had to share. First up, the mixed shawarma. This dish is a must-try for any first-timers at Mams. It features a combination of chicken and beef shawarma served with pita bread, salad, and a side of tahini sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the tahini sauce was creamy and flavorful. The portion size was generous, and the dish was definitely filling. Next, we tried lamb shawarma. This dish was equally impressive. The lamb was juicy and tender, and the spices were just right. It was served with the same accompaniments as the mixed shawarma and was equally filling. We also ordered the Manakeesh, an Arabic-style pizza. We opted for the pesto, mozzarella, and sundried tomato flavour, which did not disappoint. The crust was crispy and slightly chewy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. We also had the Lahmajan. It was a unique twist on a classic pizza and was definitely worth trying. We also enjoyed a bowl with a choice of protein, grain, and vegetables, topped off with a delicious sauce. We chose the grilled chicken as our protein, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We added quinoa as our grain and a variety of fresh vegetables, including cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. The sauce was a delicious blend of tahini, lemon juice, and herbs. We finished off our bowl with Halloumi. The combination of flavours and textures was simply outstanding, and it was a dish that I could eat every day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Mams. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. If you're in the Knightsbridge area and looking for a taste of authentic Middle Eastern street food, I highly recommend checking out Mams. "I used to go here a lot when I lived here about a year ago and loved their food. Was back today and it has drastically changed. The service is so poor and they were so rude. The food is not cooked properly. I had the man made bowl with roasted tofu. The tofu was heated in the microwave. Barely warm and the vegetables (butternut squash&beetroot) still had the skin on and was rock hard. I do not recommend to anyone to go here. Very disappointed."

"Daddy Donkey is a great place to get a quick lunch. Their burritos are really great and even though there is usually a long line to get your food, the service is quite quick, so the line actually moves quite fast. Their ingredients are great and are quite fresh and they use delicious sauces so you don't need to get anything too complicated to be happy. Their standard Daddy D Burrito is great and I especially liked it with their chicken which is marinated for hours. The only issue with Daddy Donkey is that if you have time and want to sit to eat there, there are only two tables and they are usually taken which means you can pretty much only get the food as take-away."

"The service was terrible, staff ignoring you at the till and leave you standing there waiting. Then have a conversation about which one was going to serve you and the other walking off thinking you can’t hear them, finally when they felt like they had to serve you. They went and did something else for a deliveroo order after asking. They wasn’t listening to your order when speaking them, Couldn’t help when asking the differences as they didn’t know what was in it and looked at you blankly. Another customer, when waiting for my order asked for a cup of water and the disapproval look for asking was rude. If you don’t want to work in a customer facing business, don’t it’s simple. But sort yourself out KFC. Worst experience I’ve ever had in your branches."

"The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. We had to wait in the drive-through for 30 minutes and then park and wait an additional 15 minutes for our order to be brought out. Additionally, our orders have consistently been missing items. Overall, the food was average, priced between £10 and £20 per person. "Went through drive through and ordered a bargain bucket and specifically requested thighs and drumsticks as family is a bit fussy about it. Weve been parked up as they were waiting for chicken to cook and when food finally arrived annoyingly in a whole bucket was 1 drumstick, 1 wing, 1 breast and 3 pieces of ribs with small part of a wing. On top of that all pieces were much more than signature crispy, they were burned and even after scraping off the burned parts food was VERY salty, so perhaps a chamge of oil may be ideal. Very much not happy with food."

"Friendly service, piping hot food, mouthwatering flavours, and a fun, chill blues y vibe what's not to love about Chicken Blues! They marinate their chicken in the most incredible seasoning, in my opinion it's best on its own or dipped in the homemade ranch sauce. The wraps are amazing as well. As an American living in Bournemouth, this is the closest I've found to authentic, home cooked chicken and sides, very similar to my own grandmother's recipes! We'll be repeat customers for life!"
