"Visited here whilst in Putney on a Friday lunchtime. Very busy at the tills but staff are efficient. Lots more seating in this branch than it first appears. Other than the initial seating you can see there is a big space at the back of the shop behind the tills as well as on another floor. Despite being busy the tables were being kept clean which is great. Various new flavour wraps and sandwiches on offer in November in preparation for Xmas. I had a new falafel and avocado wrap with chipotle sauce which was good. Really like their seltzers. They are quite bitter so maybe not everyone’s choice but I think they are great as no sugar and great taste. The spelt and oat cookies were lovely."

"I made an online reservation and requested a quiet corner table, but I was seated in the middle of the bar. It seemed like no one else had reserved a table, as they had just walked in and been seated. Unfortunately, my specific request was ignored, as I have a hearing impairment. The restaurant was crowded, so they were unable to move us. The waiters spoke limited English and struggled to understand our orders from the menu. They came across as rude and dismissive. Ultimately, we decided not to eat anything because it was too difficult to order. I would not recommend this restaurant and I do not plan on returning."

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"A very , very disappointing experience. The waiter was apparently new, so fair to give him a chance, but we held our breath to see if our margarita cocktail turned into a pizza…….after a long wait we were pleasantly surprised to receive a drink though where the tequila went, who knows? The main courses both involved risotto which was more like wallpaper paste than any rice dish. The manager was eager to make amends, so opted for a couple of salads…….yes they were edible and the prawn one had more prawns than the risotto! Truly terrible not a place that we will ever revisit!"

"Been to the cafe today for breakfast. Checked the reviews and the website the day before that. Came in next day and were very surprised. The website is an absolute lie. The photos of the interior are totally different there, the prices on the website are 30-35% cheaper as well. Got 2 breakfasts ~9.5£ each). 2eggs/ 2p bacon/ beans/ bread/ mushrooms/ 1/2 a tomato/ 1 sausage in each breakfast. Needed extra sausage and beans for the baby and each extra is 2.25£! Paid extra 5.5£ for that. The quality of food is very average, like any other pub for ex Joiners Arms went the day before for breakfast as well) where a full English was £4.75, the portion is the same except 2sausages) and twice cheaper! Paid £30 for 2 breakfasts, 1 coffee, 1 juice and a sausage and beans for the baby. Pub will be 15£ for all the same food. Not worth the money."

"had a cup of tea from here gave me a lot of energy, but was a bit too sweet for my pleasure. admittedly I put ten sugars in myself, but that was not meant. when I went down the road and went out on the curb. tee on the floor, cup on the floor, strange laugh about me if I had a wet it had been a stubborn experience, but I like to think about me as a dazzling chappy. as my one once said: “No point crying over the Spilt tea,” my nan was autistic. but yes, I'm sorry to whisper on my nann, said: "I could speak for English" uh there I am jabbering again, apologise. I will continue my assessment. beautiful tee, beautiful service, great location. the load isn't the bordstein. would come back here, maybe I'll stay next time to drink my tee. Yes, I will. "the pret in nottingham has been here for many years. I have always worked in the city and have always found the food and drinks here to be very good. the personal is excellent and always friendly. I recently subscribed to the monthly Barista Decal at £25 a month, which is exceptionally worth. the only reason I don't give 5 stars it really needs a overhaul, as the place looks a little tired and the tables need to be cleaned better and more frequently in my opinion."

"I have dined many paintings in L’Eto in the last five years and always enjoyed the well presented, delicious eating, excellent coffee and good customer service. my visit today was extremely disappointing. I ordered the crab eggs benedict and expected a decent brunch. what arrived...was a little frit on a ova with a piece of pak choi. it covered about a quarter of the plate, had no bread and was the size of a starter. I complained to the waiter and manager, who could both see that I was not happy, but very little helped. they said they could give me a broth, but they would have to charge me extra for it. I refused to do this because the meal costs £15, represented bad value for money and I felt that this was an insult for customers, so I returned the court. I am very disappointed that a caffe that I regularly visited has changed its menu and has changed to one that is clearly developed to win, but that does not care about its customers and does not offer any value for money. I do not think that a caffe can afford to treat its customers on this way, especially now when the cost of living rises and customers will be more selective about where they are going to come."

"Today I decided to enjoy Christmas lights on kings Road but also have a dinner at pavilion Road . I booked a table for 6 pm at Wulf Lamb vegetarian restaurant. I became vegetarian for concerns about excessive use of environmental resources and for my health . Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn’t as impressive as I have seen in their website . They have only one toilet which wasn’t in a good condition and very dirty. Staff were nice and kind but very inexperiences . The table was very wobbly and The young manager tried to make the table more stable but he failed . We asked to have our starter and main course at the same time . Bruschetta were with mushroom and truffle oil not truffle as it says in menu! and Gyoza "

"We order from Bad Owl on a regular basis. Whether it be lunchtime delivery or board room platters, the packages are inexpensive, reliable and good quality. The owner Daniel is a brilliant Barrister who knows so much about the sourcing, creation, process and delivery of coffee. It's quite staggering as to how knowledgeable he is in this area. The team are always warm and welcoming. Overall it's great to see a local business doing well. Our accounts team use their online ordering facility on their website which is very easy and quick to use."

"The food was great (had a very lovely afternoon tea) but unfortunately the service was poor; although polite when speaking to us the service staff pretty much ignored us once we had ordered our food. My friend and I wanted to order another hot drink but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take our order (despite attempting to get someone’s attention several times) and then again when wanting to get the bill it took standing up and putting our coats on after another long time waiting (and asking several people) to actually get the bill. I want to blame it on how busy the restaurant was however we saw several tables around us come and go in the time we were there."

"The setup at the cafe was a bit confusing - it seemed like we were expected to sit down first and then order at the till, which was inconvenient. Alternatively, we could have gone straight to the till to order, but this was not made clear by the staff. When I questioned the lady at the till about the pricing, she pointed out that the prices were listed on a menu that was not offered to us for dine-in. I felt the prices were not clearly displayed or communicated. Even the board only showed takeaway prices for a full English breakfast, not the dine-in price. It seemed strange, as most people wouldn't think to take away a full English breakfast. After a couple of inquiries and a double check of the door sign, I realized my mistake in overlooking the 'takeaway price' notice. An Indian lady who worked there proceeded to raise her voice and scold me about the pricing, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Despite the unpleasant encounter with the staff member, the food was enjoyable. However, if I were to visit this cafe again, I hope that individual is no longer working there. With my experience as a former server of 10 years, I believe such behavior has no place in the hospitality industry."

"This is a good coffee stop in very middle of York. Clean tidy and good staff. There are a few outside tables as well as an upstairs area. The downstairs is usually incredibly crowded. Takeaway is often the best option. Food is the same as every Pret. Goodish quality and often a welcome break. The soup is highly recommended."
