"Visited here whilst in Putney on a Friday lunchtime. Very busy at the tills but staff are efficient. Lots more seating in this branch than it first appears. Other than the initial seating you can see there is a big space at the back of the shop behind the tills as well as on another floor. Despite being busy the tables were being kept clean which is great. Various new flavour wraps and sandwiches on offer in November in preparation for Xmas. I had a new falafel and avocado wrap with chipotle sauce which was good. Really like their seltzers. They are quite bitter so maybe not everyone’s choice but I think they are great as no sugar and great taste. The spelt and oat cookies were lovely."

"This restaurant is a nice spot for a quick snack. It could use more seating. The coffee was excellent and the sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and the baked goods were tasty. I appreciate the option to bring your own cup and receive a discount on your hot drink."

"Such a lot of hassle when we got there because we thought we had booked the restaurant but we had booked the bar the manager said that we shouldn’t have been able to book the bar via Open Table as the bar doesn’t take bookings. Luckily they seated us upstairs in the restaurant on a lovely round table as there were 5 of us, the bar is a bit dark and busy to enjoy a meal so we were very fortunate that there was a table free in the restaurant the staff couldn’t have been more helpful trying to sort things out. It was a very awkward start to the occasion luckily it got better when we eventually enjoyed a glass of bubbly some very enjoyable food. Open Table needs to communicate with GNH Bar over what can be booked what can’t!"

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"The cafe is beautiful and the staff were lovely but the food was bland. I ordered a tabbouleh salad which was supposed to have walnuts in it but they were missing. Tabbouleh is supposed to have strong mint and lemon flavours but all I could taste was mild parsley. There was no dressing on the salad but bottles of olive oil and balsamic were put on the table. The salad should have been dressed by the chef and left to marinate for a while. The halloumi was nicely cooked though."

"On the whole a very nice lunch. The staff were lovely, and the ambience very pleasant. I had the spinach and pistachio gnocchi and my friend had the chicken and asparagus risotto both were extremely tasty. We also had a small glass of pinot grigio each, which was equally good. The restaurant was pleasingly quiet and airy. Any downsides? Though the food is very good, it's reasonably pricey I also thought the sour cherry yoghurt/ice cream was a tiny bit bland. Nevertheless, the lovely staff and the tasty main course would encourage me to visit again."

"we came to the breakfast. the place was almost empty, yet the waiter wanted to sit right next to the stairs (below to the loos where it was so rugged, they could not move their chair at all. but he was all smiling when we asked for another. the eier benedicts looked very good and was well cooked the problem was that eating was almost cold when it arrived. I fear that the avocado came out of the refrigerator and that the bisquits had been turned back. a shame. I would have rated it much higher if it were warm. the price is quite steep compared to other places,"

"Always busy as hell. But you know what? I enjoy coming here because the team is organised, and an exceptional service. I worked in retail and cafés from a long time, and you can definitely tell that even if the work is not the best ever, they are trying to make it positive. Thanks!"

"the pret in nottingham has been here for many years. I have always worked in the city and have always found the food and drinks here to be very good. the personal is excellent and always friendly. I recently subscribed to the monthly Barista Decal at £25 a month, which is exceptionally worth. the only reason I don't give 5 stars it really needs a overhaul, as the place looks a little tired and the tables need to be cleaned better and more frequently in my opinion."

"Ordered a whole cake, had confirmation that the order was ready to pick up, store supervisor seems clueless what to do when he didn’t have the cake. Supervisor and staff are not trained, no manager around. Instead of full cake we got slices of cake, and only half the cake but in slices as the supervisor is not able to do maths. (Again not trained) Had to go back and complain, in the end a very stressful and unpleasant experience when you pay premium prices"

"Today I decided to enjoy Christmas lights on kings Road but also have a dinner at pavilion Road . I booked a table for 6 pm at Wulf Lamb vegetarian restaurant. I became vegetarian for concerns about excessive use of environmental resources and for my health . Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn’t as impressive as I have seen in their website . They have only one toilet which wasn’t in a good condition and very dirty. Staff were nice and kind but very inexperiences . The table was very wobbly and The young manager tried to make the table more stable but he failed . We asked to have our starter and main course at the same time . Bruschetta were with mushroom and truffle oil not truffle as it says in menu! and Gyoza "

"I had the pleasure of visiting Food Philosophy on George Street in London, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. The coffee served here is truly exceptional, offering a rich and satisfying flavor that sets it apart. The variety of food options is not only delicious but also showcases a thoughtful approach to culinary craftsmanship. What impressed me just as much as the taste was the outstanding service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for enjoying a cup of coffee or a delicious meal. Moreover, the location itself adds another layer of charm to the overall experience. Situated in the heart of George Street, the café is conveniently located and provides a welcoming escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."

"I’m so glad that such a wonderful independent coffee shop has opened near town! Was allowed to bring in our dog Zeus and all staff extremely welcoming. Sat in the window and admired the interiors, which are stunning. Owner told us of his story and plans for the future (which I cannot wait for). Partner had a latte with lacto free milk and I had a large cup of tea. Tea came with plenty of milk usually only get a tiny cap full! Also had super huge rocky road which was incredibly tasty. All in 2 drinks and 2 large bits of cake only cost us just shy of £8 extremely well priced! Lovely shop with lovely staff and a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back"

"The food was great (had a very lovely afternoon tea) but unfortunately the service was poor; although polite when speaking to us the service staff pretty much ignored us once we had ordered our food. My friend and I wanted to order another hot drink but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take our order (despite attempting to get someone’s attention several times) and then again when wanting to get the bill it took standing up and putting our coats on after another long time waiting (and asking several people) to actually get the bill. I want to blame it on how busy the restaurant was however we saw several tables around us come and go in the time we were there."
" did not have the Low GI option available when I arrived. Despite this disappointment, I still decided to try one of their regular salads and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and taste of the ingredients. The service was quick and efficient, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming. I would definitely return in the future to try some of their other menu options."

"The setup at the cafe was a bit confusing - it seemed like we were expected to sit down first and then order at the till, which was inconvenient. Alternatively, we could have gone straight to the till to order, but this was not made clear by the staff. When I questioned the lady at the till about the pricing, she pointed out that the prices were listed on a menu that was not offered to us for dine-in. I felt the prices were not clearly displayed or communicated. Even the board only showed takeaway prices for a full English breakfast, not the dine-in price. It seemed strange, as most people wouldn't think to take away a full English breakfast. After a couple of inquiries and a double check of the door sign, I realized my mistake in overlooking the 'takeaway price' notice. An Indian lady who worked there proceeded to raise her voice and scold me about the pricing, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Despite the unpleasant encounter with the staff member, the food was enjoyable. However, if I were to visit this cafe again, I hope that individual is no longer working there. With my experience as a former server of 10 years, I believe such behavior has no place in the hospitality industry."
