"On 23.05.2022 I received an unexpected phone call from Lee who introduced himself as a manager at Dulwich Papa Johns . Lee was extremely polite and professional and explained that he had read my review regarding the very poor customer service I had received from another manager on 09.05.2022 and was extremely apologetic about the experience I had suffered regarding the BURNT AND CRISPY PIZZA. I accepted his apology wholeheartedly as he clearly understood my dismay regarding the poor service I had experienced and assured me that if I decided to order again my pizzas would be of the standard that it is expected to be and I would also get this order on the house. On 05.06.2022, I decided to take up the free offer and spoke to Ayoub (I hope the spelling is correct and informed him of the offer I had been given by Lee. He was helpful and reassured me that he would ensure that my pizzas would be of the standard that is expected of Papa Johns. My delivery was on time and handed over by a polite delivery person. When I opened the box that held the double pepperoni pizza with no cheese, I immediately rang Papa Johns. I was unable to speak to Ayoub but left him a message, “Tell Ayoub THANK you very much the PIZZA IS PERFECT.” Both Lee and Ayoub had kept their promise. To be frank the FREE pizza was so much better than the PAID FOR pizza. Just goes to show that ALLERGN SUFFERERS CAN HAVE GREAT PIZZA’S TOO if the time is taken to make sure they are baked perfectly to the right texture and are also delicious to eat. Thanks Lee and Ayoub for great customer service and restoring my faith in you. So, rather than losing a customer you have maintained one so long as the same standard remains. :"

"rhubarb is one of my favorite restaurants in edinburgh; it is luxurious and opulent, but without an intent. the hotel is located in the stunning prestonfield house hotel, the ambiente and the decor are both incredible. The circular dining rooms are decorated with Victorian style drapes, rich fabrics and antiques, and the large windows provide views of the beautiful grounds and arthur’s seat in the far away. I was twice for dinner in rhubarb and once for the afternoon and both were fantastic experiences. in the oktober I completed a three-day dinner in the frame of the edinburgh restaurant festivals. suppe, hake and a chocolate lava cake were presented all three courses beautifully and delicious. we finished the meal with a cheeseboard served in one of the drawing rooms on the upper level. four Scottish cheese, even paste, sourded honey and pastry cake was divine! Champagne afternoon tea was also lovely. it may not seem like a large amount of food, but my friend and I both stayed full and satisfied. there is a sortiment of sandwiches, two hearty objects, scenes with tinted sawn and marmelade and various cakes and sweets. Among the equipped are the fresh berths with homemade skyberry jam, goat cheese baked and chocolate personality macaron. the champagne was also beautiful. the service is top notch, and each personal member is friendly, welcoming and helpful. I cannot recommend rhubarb very much!"

"I visited Flute with my family for an evening meal, as it’s considered one of the best seafood restaurants in Bath, so I was eager to give it a try. This review is a bit tricky because "restaurant" doesn’t seem to encapsulate the experience. Upon arrival (Saturday at 8 PM), we found only one other group at Flute, and they were just having drinks, which felt unusual. I then noticed the words “Seafood Bar” written on the window, which made me realize that food might not be the main focus here; perhaps the emphasis is on the alcoholic beverages. Still, Flute does offer a complete menu. I ordered the deep-fried crab, seafood linguine, and chocolate lava cake. The soft shell crab was an interesting experience. When I finally cut into it, the flavors were mixed. The main body had that nice white crab meat taste, but the legs were disappointingly flavorless, akin to paper. Additionally, the dish was overly salty, making it difficult to enjoy more than a few small bites at a time. Luckily, the accompanying mayonnaise and plain lettuce helped balance things out. Next, I had the seafood spaghetti, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The bisque had a nice kick, and the spaghetti itself was quite tasty. The squid was chewy, with that characteristic texture, while the crayfish and prawns tasted as they should. Overall, I found this dish enjoyable. However, the dauphinois potatoes were a letdown, seeming to lack any cream and tasting like plain boiled potatoes. The chocolate lava cake was more like a generic chocolate cake than anything else, as it lacked the anticipated “lava.” The ice cream did add some much-needed moisture. Throughout our meal, not a single new party came in to dine, which felt strange for a Saturday evening. In summary, I believe Flute leans more toward being a bar than a restaurant. It might be a nice spot for a work lunch, but I recommend visiting primarily for drinks instead. I also wouldn’t classify the dessert options—just two—as a “full” menu.
