"we stay in mevagissey for a week and decided to celebrate our high-time anniversary at roovrays, we were not disappointed at all I had to start muddles and chose the Thai fish and mussel curry and finished with eton mess, all 3 cousins. were excellent, the sauces with the seafood were irritating and a nice example how well this cook is."

"Wow! What a place! Had no idea that this little Gem of a restaurant existed until last night. My lovely friend had organised a Hen night for me and booked this beautiful place! Not sure what to say if I'm honest, no amount of words can be enough to say how amazing it is. Food was out of this world! Had the taster menu and had all sorts from meatballs to lasagne to pizza! Thank you so much Gio and your lovely team for making my Hen Night an amazing one with plenty of delicious food will definitely be recommending you to everyone I know and will be making plenty of return visits!"

"We very much enjoyed the single sitting policy where you can spend the whole evening relaxed and not feeling you will be moved on. We also loved the use of local, seasonal ingredients and this combined with the passion of the chef owners gives a great quality experience. The young waiting staff were excellent well trained, unobtrusive, friendly. The menu was small but wide enough to give a pleasing range of options. We both started with the beetroot and feta salad which was lovely caramelised beetroots slices with cheese hazelnuts all delicious just an elegant sufficiency. Hubby had the celeriac and sweet potato lasagne which he declared yummy I had the pork tenderloin with rhubarb cabbage the veggies were delightfully al dente I have a particular soft spot for red cabbage, so that was a winner! The rhubarb was lovely with the pork have to try that at home. We had been spotting the other desserts as they came through so hubby picked the berry sponge with raspberry ripple ice cream I had the double chocolate mousse cake with salted caramel ice cream both were well balanced, not over facing tasted delicious the salted caramel ice cream was particularly good not too salted. Overall an excellent evening and very reasonable for three courses of such lovely food many thanks keep up the great work"

"Our fourth time here. Fabulous meal this evening celebrating our anniversary. Never normally have chicken at a resturant, but knowing what a great chef he is I went for the chicken option for my main. AMAZING fabulous main never tasted chicken so good. The whole meal was fabulous. The Staff were attentive but not intrusive, atmosphere great. We had a fantastic evening. Will return during another season to sample another menu. "I was not expecting much for our family outing to a pizza and pasta restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the vegan stuffed mushroom starter and the Cassareccia Rustica for my main course, and both dishes were delicious. The stuffed mushroom dish included field mushrooms topped with roasted peppers, onions, vegan cheese, balsamic dressing, and garnished with rocket. The main course consisted of roasted peppers, aubergines, broccoli, onions, tomato sauce, a touch of cream, topped with goat's cheese, and baked in the oven. They have a dedicated vegan menu on their website, with 5 starters, 5 mains, and 2 pizzas to choose from."

"with other reviews not many vegan options, but what they have is so high quality! we ate one night in medina and took another. our favorite was the incredibly smoky baba ghanoush, but enjoyed everything we had: stubborn, tabbouleh, cuminkartoffeln, falafel kebab (in a flat brot with very tasty shiny and couscous). beautiful ambiente for an evening meal served outdoors with an aperol spray, we could have been almost in the middle sea!"

"Located in the heart of Whitley Bay, this charming and welcoming bistro is a must-visit. During vegan restaurant week, we had the pleasure of trying their three-course menu for only £17. The starters, including battered vegetable tempura with coriander hummus, and spinach, garlic, and cashew nut cream ravioli with spinach, walnut, and chilli pesto, were fresh and bursting with flavor. For mains, I enjoyed the lentil moussaka with grilled aubergines, béchamel sauce, garlic bread, and delicious melted free-from cheese, while my wife savored the layered veg pie with mashed potatoes and onion gravy. Both dishes were exceptional. The desserts were just as impressive with a heavenly sticky toffee pudding and a divine amaretto and chocolate mousse cake. We hope to see some of these dishes added to the regular menu after the success of vegan week."

"Called in as we were passing first thing was the warm welcome lovely landlady made you feel instantly at home . Good menu at a very affordable price and boy what portions i had Cajun chicken stunning my wife had a cheese burger enjoyed it greatly the menu also had some great specials for fish lovers . The bar has a lovley warm and friendly feel and nothing was too much trouble if you are in area give it a go you won't be disappointed"

"My friend treated me to an afternoon tea, informing the restaurant that I was vegetarian and gluten-free. The afternoon tea was served buffet-style and looked lovely. Despite my friend reminding the staff about my dietary restrictions, I was given four sandwiches on regular bread with salad fillings. After sitting for 30-45 minutes without anyone checking on us, we had to ask for more tea and for two of the sandwiches to be wrapped up. I also had to inquire about gluten-free options, to which the response was that they would check with the kitchen. Despite my friend giving two weeks notice and reminding them the day before about my dietary needs, it seemed like they were not adequately prepared. While my friend enjoyed her meal, the service was lacking."

"for the first time in the restaurant clenaghans for the early bird menu. we were greeted by very friendly staff at the door and shown on our table. eating was amazing every dish of our three courses meal. I just want to say that, besides an amazing meal, we had a pleasant waitress that was not sure of her name. she had exactly the right balance of ease and efficiency. she realized that we wanted to relax and enjoy our meal and not rushed. she and other employees ensured that we had everything we needed. would highly recommend to all our friends and our family and cannot wait to go back."

"I have sent this email twice to request a response but none forthcoming,shame: Subject: Gluten Free Good Morning, I came to the restaurant last night at 5pm table booked online). I ordered a Philly cheese pizza on a gluten free base . About 1hr...later I started to feel symptoms of being glutened (having had diagnosed coeliac disease for 25 years now I am very well versed in the difference between this and any other ailment I was attending a concert and because I was so poorly I missed a chunk of the first half of the performance. The body reacts by rejecting the gluten in the fastest possible way (vomiting and diarrhoea, most unpleasant , particularly on a night out, I'm sure you will agree) and leaves you feeling very weak for days afterwards. If a gluten free diet is not adhered to this can result in bowel cancer and other serious implications. We spent a lot of money for this treat , including a stay over in a hotel so you can imagine how this impacted on the whole experience. I just wanted to make you aware as I know you take pride in your service and the server told us the gluten free base recipe had been revised recently. It's very important to get this right as people who are truly coeliac have very real and unpleasant reactions if gluten is digested. Please can you respond so that I feel able to safely return to the restaurant."

"the worst experience I ever had in my life in london! absolutely shameful treatment to me and my friends. Many thanks for the dirty teapots and tassen and also for the gentleman who thought it would be okay to scream us what the problem is when we courteous and discreetly informed them. I had a full tea pot due to the service and now very appreciate my own cup I would not recommend this place to everyone. No one should support this treatment or service. the man who cried was held back by the rude waitress who had told him how rude to be! and dysfunctional!"
