"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? Not Sure 2) No chutneys or sauces are available for starters 3) Taste wise, the items are not close to Authentic Indian dishes 4) Shocked to see that there is no Dessert item Overall Food Rating: 2 out of 5 We strongly Believe that This Restaurant is. "really delicious vegetarian Indian cuisine. Although I showed up at a busy time at 8 o'clock, a nice waiter welcomed me and explained that when I returned in 15-20minutes, a table should be available. Although, when I returned a table, it was not ready to clean a table for me and let us feel very welcome after we were in a couple of restaurants. the food was delicious, tasteful and exactly the right amount of seasoned. the tweebel bhaji has the most delicious sauces to accompany it and the mango ulfi. only wow! the employees are very attentive, keep water goggles up and clear away plates fast, very professional operation. will be coming back!"

"Very tasty butter chicken and excellent samosas!! Had ordered a takeaway on deliveroo. Butter chicken is definitely one of the best in London. First bite transfers you straight down the memory lane to any top North Indian restaurant or famous dhabas. Sauce gravy was excellent but the chicken not very fresh. The kheema naan okish. No wow factor. But very palatable. Garlic naan was a bit chewy, but then again was in takeaway so will try another time fresh at the restaurant. Dal makhani was a bit of disappointment. Was strangely sour. And not buttery and creamy as it should be. The steamed rice was very dry and a bit under cooked. May be given the benefit of doubt that was in a takeaway container. Now coming to the samosa. Hands down one of the best you can get anywhere. Even better than some famous places in India. Excellent taste, fresh good seasoning nice authentic texture of the dough. And to top it all very good tamarind chutney. Highly recommend for good hearty Indian flavours. Their menu selection is excellent as goes with the drinks too! Would definitely recommend to friends and family! And will be coming soon to dine in!!"

"We arrived at the restaurant early, which turned out to be a good choice. The food we ordered was outstanding- incredibly delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. Unfortunately, there were certain dishes on the menu that were unavailable, and we were only informed after we had placed our order. This caused some frustration, as another table even decided to leave after being told their selected dish was no longer available (and this was only an hour into service!). It would be helpful for the restaurant to be upfront about any unavailable items before customers begin to make their selections from the menu."
