"My friend I booked a table here for dinner as we had been here previously and loved it. When we arrived we asked if we could sit outside however the waitress said this is fine but would require the table back for half 7 (we arrived just gone 6) and that if we sat inside there would be no rush for giving the table back. We sat inside and most of the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food drinks were great aswell. However when it got to about 10 past 8 we were told that our time had run out on the table and we had to leave now and that when you book it says you have 2 hours despite a dessert menu being offered to us 10 mins before this. There was no heads up or prior warning given, the waiter then came over with the bill before we could even finish our drinks asking how we’d like to pay before we’d even discussed it. Once the bill had been paid and taken we were finishing our drink when the waiter came over for the third time and said you need to leave now and give us the table back and stood by the table waiting for us to stand up and go. Having been told there would be no rush to give the table back and not given any sort of 15 min warning so we could Atleast finish the drinks and request the bill ourselves the way this was handled completely ruined the nice food and drinks we’d had and rather than going to the bar we chose to go elsewhere because we didn’t feel welcome. Quite honestly it felt like we’d done something wrong and were being ushered out of the building. Really disappointing end to what was a nice meal out."

"Nothing like as good as it used to be. One main course had to be sent back because it was cold. I chose the same as I used to have ie just a side dish of spinach and a side dish of sautéed potatoes. The potatoes had obviously been reheated and I couldn’t taste the herbs at all and the spinach was just wilted spinach with none of the flavourings it used to have and both these dishes were half the size they used to be. Won’t be going again which is a shame because we used to always go there when meeting up."

"Have you ever paired your burgers with wine? No? Me neither. Well, I’ve had a bottle of wine with my meal or burger many times before but never have I thought about pairing it with its specific ingredients. Ben’s Canteen in Battersea are trying to change all that however, serving up mini sliders alongside delicious wines paired specifically with each one. It’s a fantastic idea – especially as burgers to me were old hat, making them exciting all over again. And the burgers here really were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located on the rather busy St John’s Hill but despite constant traffic the music inside quickly drowns it out. They also have a second site in Earlsfield. We settled ourselves in here at Battersea with a couple of well-made classic cocktails in the form of a potent Negroni and smooth old-fashioned, both of which packed a nice punch and warmth."

"on the way to the good home show in olympia we stopped at chiswick after crepe affaire and got a brunch. the first thing that hit me was that minimum costs were spared in the facility. the floor was only concrete, the same when they tear their floor or pull up the carpet. Nevertheless, I think it is the trendy shabby chic look after which they go."

"a few days ago, since I and my friend got a student discount. first opinions, once I went, was how attentive and friendly our server was. they really seem to care for customer service, so I don't know why there are many reviews on the contrary. we ordered immediately and food came quite fast, which was good. the food was breathtaking. my God the burger was beautiful the onion rings even more. I could eat these onion rings in buckets that were so good. the drinks were quite expensive to be honest as I don't want to pay £2.30 for water. but I feel that Byron brings a beautiful aura to cambridge and I would be happy back hundreds of times and is recommended to friends and family."

"The food is so delicious and the kitchen will ensure all you allergies are taken into account when ordering. You can alter the dishes and they’re gluten free friendly. Honestly over a year and a half I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and it...has all been so delicious! I highly recommend the garlic triple fired fries with any order . The staff are so amazing, especially two waitresses called eloise and Stacy were particularly helpful!! There was even a DJ playing music during my last visit, which just made the experience even more fun. The cocktails and mocktails are also amazing, and overall the service is so quick the food was there soon after I ordered. Also the ordering system is so efficient and makes it way easier when ordering in big groups (as you can all individually order and pay separately)."

"this place was fantastic. I am from California and ed’s was a wonderful memory of home. this place feels like the 50s and it puts a smile on her face when she in. I have a big ed’s burger and it was delicious (have a tweebel ring and speck on it, I mean, come it.) eating here has given me the feeling as if I had worth my money. the drinks are a bit expensive, but if you get water, a pornstar, and one side, it's not too bad. the service was good, we were greeted at the door and immediately got a place. the dings were busy and we have to eat quickly. "Me and a group of friends had gone out in Cambridge for the night. It was past midnight and we decided to go and get a burger. However, the prices on the board had been taped up and the employees were asking double the amount for each burger, explaining that they had changed the prices. Bare in mind, this was a weekend night, and the majority of people entering were heavily intoxicated so were paying the prices. We however, were all sober and the employee would not talk to us explaining that the prices he was telling us were the original prices which was not the case. In conclusion, it looks like this business prays on the intoxicated to pay extortionate prices, which is very disappointing. We ended up walking out."

"Very poor service, lack of cleanliness of the place, our table was really dirty and there was not intention to keep it clean for customers. I was disappointed this time. We wanted to celebrate with my family an special occasion, sadly either the staff was tired or they didn’t make an effort to even take an order from my teenager nephew and he was ignored. It’s not difficult to make people feel welcome to a place where we come often, at least before this experience. What a pity to have a good product but to loose customers because of staff attitude and lack of cleanliness."
