"Turing Tap has long been a favourite of ours. Several ales on tap at moderate prices, and a convenient location, plus food available. Space is generally not hard to find too. The music can be a little too loud for convenient conversation, and I am not sure how famous introvert Alan Turing would feel about this particular tribute The Oxford was at least as good a name but for the main part it simply has what you want from a pub."

"came here after a walk around hove, as it seemed beautiful from the outside. the first impressions were really positiw, as the place was trendy and clean. service was very friendly and we went to the midday offer of a main page drink. there was a little discrepance like the description for the product we have chosen, said it came with BBQ sauce and afteros as standard, and they need a side and drink on. but when everything came, it was without the things that came as standard. I just wanted to get a little clear, and the manager let me know that because we have chosen pages, it replaced the things that came as standard. the art and wise how the deal works means that they do not have the main separately, so the description was a little misleading, and I think it is likely because the description was not changed by the main menu to adjust the deal. it is a very small thing, but it was the only thing that came to it that it was a little less positiw. the price and the environment were great, and I would like to go back."

"On Saturday, May 29, I visited for lunch and was truly impressed by the adherence to COVID-19 regulations, along with the speedy table service. I enjoyed nachos, sweet potatoes, and a delightful coconut cocktail. The food was fresh and delicious. Although I'm not a big sports fan, I brought my book, and I appreciated that there are plenty of tables available where you don't have to sit near a screen if you prefer not to. I believe this place has a fantastic atmosphere, especially when it's busy and there's an event happening, and I would love to come back again!"

"visited after it had been in another hotel close to a question. called, on table to look and eat waiting nice dame on the phone. to a warm and cozy pub with a large selection of food. the food arrived in time with fantastic friendly service. great value for money with the children's menu and 2 for £11 menus that are valid on Sunday. will definitely be visited again."

"One of the best brunch spots we visited was this pub, which has recently undergone a beautiful renovation. The interiors are stunning, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The brunch options were fantastic, featuring a variety of drinks like prosecco, espresso martinis, handcrafted beer, and more. Karina was exceptional, ensuring our glasses were always full and checking in to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious; we both opted for the full English breakfast, which was perfection. There were also plenty of other breakfast options, as well as pizza and burgers. Great value and a wonderful vibe—definitely a top brunch spot!"

"We absolutely loved this quirky bar with its fantastic music, even if it was at a low volume. Our night in Newcastle felt incomplete until we discovered this gem. The bartender, a friendly Canadian fellow, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I only wish we had found this place earlier in the evening when it was cozy and inviting, with reasonably priced beer and a welcoming staff. Once things return to normal, we definitely plan to come back for another fantastic night here."

"I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to do so for this establishment. My daughter was there on Friday, 13 May with some colleagues. She is not typically outgoing and usually only went out when required for work. She had a negative experience where she was embarrassed by one of her colleagues and was left feeling upset and scared. This is the reason for my review. The doormen at this venue were exceptional. One of them (the larger one at the door) was wearing a white shirt, black tie, and had a shaved head. He reassured her that she was safe and not alone or lost. They waited with her until one of her colleagues came out and they went for a walk. Later that night, at 00:45, my wife went to look for her. The doorman immediately knew who my wife was talking about and knew exactly where our daughter had gone, even giving a description of her colleague. We found both of them safe and sound. I want to extend a huge thank you to this venue and especially to the two doormen at their door. They went above and beyond in ensuring the safety and well-being of their guests."

"The Bucks Head pub is in a really cool location in Camden, it’s just opposite buck street market. You really feel that you are in Camden when you are sitting outside just watching the world go by. The inside is really cool and well decorated. It’s literally a five minute walk from Camden Town station. If you like eco markets then just cross the road and there it is. The staff are great especially the manager he is polite and knowledgeable. They have a great range of drinks so you can drink to your heart’s content. The atmosphere is traditional and not annoyingly modern so it retains the feel of being in a real pub. I think you would really enjoy this place if you want to just have a relaxing drink any day of the week."

"We booked the upper floor space for our daughter's 21st family birthday party and had a fantastic evening. The room was beautiful and we would like to thank John Phelan and his team for their help and support in making the party a success. "Booked months ago requested a window table for a special celebration. Arrived 5 mins before booking no window table available. Noisy but not in a busy Trattoria style restaurant, Zero ambience. Asked if I would like any condiments when my main arrived, requested and never arrived. Ordered an espresso and got just that... no sugar! Booking requests smart casual several tables with diners wearing shorts!! Was asked twice if it was a special occasion and confirmed it was, only for them to deliver 2 birthday cake muffins to the table next to ours! We didn't get any! Was not given the choice to add the gratuity as they had already included it when presenting the card machine! Not the dining experience I expected from The Ivy, it's no more than a trumped up Wetherspoons!!! Won't be going again, there are far better restaurants in Harrogate"

"4 of us this time, food was incredible!! We got a pepperoni pizza, cauliflower wings, Xmas wings, hallumi, calamari, festive mac n cheese, the cheeky chicken trio thing and the nachos. The wings were absolutely amazing and there was so much food for the price we paid! £75 for all of that and app 4 of us were stuff, probably could have left the pizza, nachos and mac n cheese, couldn't recommend the chicken trio more if you like wings. Only down side were somehow the nachos came out 20 mins after the rest and literally plain as anything, pretty sure I've got all the ingredients in the back of my cupboard.. not worth it, but the wings made it all up! definitely will go back"

"After a busy day I was rushing past the recently refurbished Priory Tavern [with my new Homebase watering can, as you do on a Sunday afternoon … I was thinking I’d missed lunch and needed to eat. I saw their menu and thought I’d try it out…. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place has been newly decorated with a nice feel about the place…. The lunch was delicious, and it turned out to be a lovely relaxing afternoon. I’d definitely take a friend there next time."

"Absolutely shocking. Food was a disgrace and waited over an hour and half for it. Ordered a round of drinks through the app waited half hour, went up to ask where our drinks are and the bloke said 'the app doesn 't work '. Happily took our money though. No apology whatsoever, no signs to say not to order on the app. 23 quid for 3 small plates and 2 sides, the word small is an understatement. Completely understaffed by 3 or 4 staff memberes. One staff member messing around with his friends in the pub while the football was on while there was people waiting at the bar, tables needed cleaning etc pointless him being there, also told my partner to calm down after complaining in a nice manner. Also a nice bit of mouldy lettuce on the plate but I can 't see where to add a picture. It was abysmal at best."

"Was staying at Ascott Hotel for business, 10 mins along the road and seems some good restaurants along here. To be fair, all restaurants looks good and well reviewed but fancied a burger and couldn't resist trying this Triple Threat burger! Didn't realise at the time but to add a drink was only few quid extra so saved about £4 getting the Rekorderlig cider! Surprised with the amount of chips that came with it but not complaining and just about finished the full plate. Staff was very good and as I came on a Tuesday evening, it was Karaoke night so music was quite loud and noone took the mic apart from the DJ who sang one song during my 75mins or so that I was there.
