"First visit with friends for dinner 11 Nov 16: cozy open fire and comfy leather seats in the bar area. Decor a bit bland and basic throughout the bar and restaurant but the service was genuinely friendly and food was a fab surprise. The bar style menu belies the great food within. We had rib eye steaks and venison Wellington style and it got served to a 'wow ' factor. The food presentation and food was on par with more upmarket restaurants, and price competitive. "This is the best Sunday roast I've had in London...period! The lamb roast was exquisite and so delicious. The potatoes was welldone and the sauce was dripping everywhere. Strawberry daiquiri mocktail was delicious and the dessert of apple crumble was a nice finish to an excellent Sunday lunch. Book it, y'all You won't regret it"
