"we came in as we had a buy, get a free cream tee pass through the john Lewis Card app. After we had ordered ourselves and sat down, it took about 15 minutes until our tee was brought over us, what we thought was one, but when it was a Sunday afternoon and we reasonably understood. we thought the skorn would follow, but they didn't, in that we waited another 15/20 minutes and nothing came. our table was right next to the counter so we could see that many drinks/kissen/mice are placed on tablets and brought to other tables. we asked one of the servers if we could have the rest of our order, because he had not all come, she said (without apology offered) and checked our table number before she went back behind the counter. but nothing came back and after another 10 minutes we had enough and had to go as we needed to be elsewhere. we went and asked if we could have a refund because it was ridiculous that we would wait for over 45 minutes until a cake is placed on a plate. the dame at the time was the one who had taken our order and we asked where our food was when she passed, but she still looked out that we were angry! she went and got someone else, I guess her manager, who then told us that we could not have a refund because we used a voucher and included our ordering a free article. why that meant that we could not get a refund that I don't know, we didn't ask for the money for two things, just for those we paid. they said the best they could do was give us the objects, and within less than a minute they were piled. Amazing that it could be done so quickly, considering how long we had originally waited! I can't say if the actual cakes were good or not because we had to go somewhere else this afternoon, so they had to be left in a warm car for several hours and until we came home, the pots of the cream had to be thrown away and they had dried out."

"I was eating here on Saturday. it is a large, lively place full of young families. it is authentic Italian with all those who seem to be Italian. I chose a less traditional Italian dish sea bass with root vegetables. the sea bass was fine and aromatized with spaten of rosemary, not the best ever meerbarsch, but as I say, fine. the root vegetables of papageia, carrots and kartoffel wedges were disappointing, although they were bland, not very delicious, or well seasoned and quite hard in the texture. they could have been finished with a cut into smaller pieces, I literally grafted half a boiled carrot on my dish. a bite and a few greens was necessary to bring them together. the pudding was the star. I had orange and lemon tart as on the photo with heavenly art jam / flowers. it was delicious, really tangie. it had small caramelized bits that I liked and made it look a bit like a cream brûlée, but it had also sprinkled extra sugar on the top, which it could have done without. it could taste hot rather than cold even better. from some reason when we saw it, we thought it was hot probably the caramelized bits? I would order it again. my cappuccino was also very good. my friend had a tee, which was served in a strange way with the customer who had to add the tea leaves, but fine and generous cup/coffee with dinky milkjugs. the service and the atmosphere were also very good and friendly, my friend also discovered a zeleb james nesbitt! the prices were much cheaper than I expected they would be in dulwich. I thought it was very good worth a total main course, pud, big glass wein and coffee for all under £25 per head it would have been even cheaper if we had ordered pizza. I would go back if I were close, but maybe a little more mainstream Italian for my head. it seemed like the type of space it would be good to have a coffee cake on the afternoon, as they have sofas on the front and fewer formal sitting places outside. they also have chess and paper hat with stickers to keep children entertained."
