"Maybe 3 years since we’ve been still meh. Lobster ravioli well cooked, well seasoned m, sauce a bit thin. Mushroom fettuccine very good. Starters mixed. Meatballs, humus decent, mackerel and pickled veg didn’t work, nothing to balance the tart flavours of the veg. Deserts a step down or two from a Gu pudding in the supermarket. Sticky toffee pudding and the plums were fine but made without any love, care or attention. What will stop us returning any time soon was the service. Trying to catch someone’s eye like a teenager at a disco to get any attention isn’t fun at the best of times. When you pay £320 for 6 which includes three children and an octogenarian who had one glass of wine, it’s frustrating at best but rude and showed a lack of training. It’s just . . . Meh. But not cheap meh"

"excellent in front of the house, waitress, eating and atmosphere. our waitress explained everything we have ordered and even showed us a meatboard and spoke to us through the various meat cuts. we enjoyed our meal my lambship just melted in my mouth. my negroni cocktail and the weeping we had with our meal were before place. will definitely recommend revisit and. the surprise in my desert shows that the workers hear what customers say when a booking."

"In my opinion, the dining experience at this restaurant is typical American - large portions, decent quality but not the best, and the desserts are delicious if you have room for them, although they can be overly sweet so I usually only take a few bites. "there was an increase in the amount of burger places from late, no longer makes the standard chicken or 1/4 peer cut it with the average foodie. uptown burger is one of the new restaurants in leyton, near sawara grill and the famous gyms kitchen. inside is a little more beautiful space, large exposed brick wall and simple decoration. I came here on a Saturday afternoon, in which is a lunch special, classic American burger, chips and drink for £5.99 I ordered lamb cups, they were on the small side, but they were tasty, a BBQ style taste to them. the burger was a good size, there were no gimmicks like loaded burger (ilford) it was easy but delicious. it was not excellent with regard to aromen, but it was very pleasant. I would definitely come back to try another burger from the main menu. food 4 worth 4.5 service 3.5 atmosphere 3.5"

"DO NOT GET FLEECED BY THESE THIEVES. We were absolutely appalled last week after receiving our takeaway from the Spice Galleon at The Schooner Hotel in Alnmouth, Northumberland. We asked earlier in the day if they did takeaways and were told to go online for the menu and order by phone. I’ve listed the items as they were priced ‘online’ not on a printed leaflet that may be out of date). The total should have been £40.70, i had a drink while waiting so at £5 a pint should not have exceeded £45.70) but paying by card I didn’t check till we were eating it in our cottage and the bill stated £70.65! When i rang and complained they said the prices were pre corvid! There is no way we should have been charged £25 extra for such a despicable reason but if it’s online it should be up to date. In addition to this, the king prawn dish contained just 3 king prawns. "We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation and were greeted at the door, only to find out that they weren't serving food because the chef had already left for the night. When we questioned why they had accepted our booking, they claimed to have no knowledge of it or the OpenTable app. This was extremely disappointing behavior. Don't bother going to this restaurant."
