"Very nice place and very friendly staff. The food was good and tasty: tried the sea bream and was delicious, the burrata on the sharing board starter was very similar to the original Italian one and on the same quality was the sharing dessert! A few things I did not particularly like: the table, it feels more like a bar than an actual restaurant in fact you could get an high table with stools instead of chairs; most of the finest wine bottles were not available when we visited (15/4/23 ; and, generally the food was slightly overpriced compared to what you can find in other places in Edinburgh (e.g Cote, Bread Street, etc. . Overall I did really enjoy the evening and I'll definitely come back to try the pasta and the cannoli that unfortunately were also not available. Recommended!"

Very nice restaurant on George StreetWe were a group of five in for a meal on a Sunday evening, and we had a nice booth with plenty of space.

Excellent food. Excellent service from Jordan. Went here for a birthday lunch and pleased to find they gave us a couple free drinks for the occasion. Highly recommended.

Probably the most overrated restaurant I’ve ever visited the food is average and overpriced. Service insincere and I wish I’d gone to Pizza Hut for a fraction of the price and by the way it’s about as Italian as haggis

I received a 3-course meal at this restaurant as a birthday gift and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. There were plenty of options to choose from on the menu, and all three courses were absolutely delicious. If I come across this restaurant elsewhere, I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed Gusto Italian. The server was helpful and friendly. The service was superb. The restaurant has a great vibe, we especially loved our window table. My Rigatoni Arrabbiata was great but my husband’s Roast Vegetable Salad, was divine, and I was jealous! Great portions and fair prices. Lovely experience.

The sea bass was delicious, with a wonderfully crispy, golden exterior and perfectly seasoned. It was served with a buttery soft potato gratin that was also very pleasant. I also enjoyed my first bombolini. The waitress was exceptional and very kind. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.

Gusto seated of us with no booking after restaurant next door unexpectedly cancelled on us. Completely saved the day as one of us has mobility issues and had travelled far. Food was good and arrived fast with decent vegan options, we particularly liked the cocktails. The restaurant was really classify decorated for Christmas as well.

This is the best value for money restaurant I have ever been to. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous, especially for the starter and dessert. The main course is of a medium size. The starters are served promptly, so you won't be left waiting hungrily. The decor is pleasant, the service is excellent, and the prices are very affordable. I honestly can't find a single fault. Overall, this was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. After a three-course meal for around £20, you will leave satisfied without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend this restaurant to a friend. 10/10.
