"This was the best overall experience I've ever had at a Michelin-starred restaurant (although it was only my third). The staff worked seamlessly as a team to ensure that we were taken care of throughout the entire meal. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was lively, and we felt very comfortable all night. There is no official dress code, but you may feel out of place if you show up in board shorts and a tank top. We each enjoyed a five-course meal (you can choose between 3-6 courses) and a couple of bottles of wine, which came out to about $700CAD and lasted about 2.5 hours. It was definitely worth the experience and the amazing food."

"We had a large booking the meals were preordered.The staff were friendly and dispute the size of the group didn’t have to wait long. Location good.Starts of hot bread was delicious. Sadly the reviews from people were mixed, I had poached egg and asparagus that was good but think they skipped the hollandaise. Some colleague said they had under cooked eggs. The squid was left by a few people on our table. I had mushroom risotto and was bland. Steaks had mixed reviews. Best part for me was the bread and cheese board.I was going to say quality could have been due to reservation size but only half the restaurant was booked so guess it’s not that."

"I bought a Groupon deal which got my girlfriend and I two burgers with fries and two sides (we took chicken wings and macaroni cheese). The food was pretty great, the beef of the burger was clearly quality and the sides were very nice and super filling. I had a glance at the full menu and I think burger+fries priced at £7.50 is definitely cheap for what it was and that makes me want to come back. On the other side cocktails were almost £10 which is quite expensive. This place is kind of a fashionable bar where you can also eat: the decoration is cool, the music is pumping the TOP CHARTS and its decadent. However when we came it was empty, perhaps because it was early dinner, perhaps also because its located in the basement which isn't the best. On the other side its easy to find, Nottinghill Gate can't be better. The staff were nice. Conclusion: Would come back for a burger and fries. Definitely worth the cheap Groupon."

"The food in Zizzi was better than I remembered having not been for a few years, but the service was what stood out. Our waitress was just superb: great attention to what people were saying (including 2 kids) without ever being intrusive and all while she was quite busy. The manager too was great and removed one dessert from our bill due to a small delay, which was an unnecessary, but classy touch. The Zizzi we went to is not local to us, so we may not visit again soon, but I am sure we will go to another branch much sooner than we would otherwise have done."

"Disappointed in quality of food. Calamari clearly frozen tasted like rubber. Dough balls that came with the cheese fondue were not baked in the middle and still sticky dough causing poor tummy all night. Service wasn't great waitress didn't speak much English (I have an allergy to parsley, she didn't know what that was). We ordered starters first and she said she'd come back to get our order for the mains, however even after we had finished the starters she hadn't come back so we ordered our mains after having eaten our starter. Were all glad to finally leave and skipped desserts! Not how I remember Zizzi's!"

"Nice venue with high ceilings and view of Royal Opera house, although downstairs looks a little cramped, so I would ask for upstairs table. Pizza was tasty (spicy as requested) and my partner's fish was cooked properly. Having ordered pudding, I had to ask when it was coming I think the staff realised they had forgotten to put the order thru : it arrived very quickly afterwards and the waitress apologised for the delay explaining that we would not be charged for the pudding. Basically, the problem was dealt with efficiently, so we increased our tip to show our gratitude."

"Our 20 yr old student son was visiting Ipswich as part of an upcoming placement. He had to stay in a hotel for two nights on his own and eat out for dinner as nothing available in the hotel. He went to ASK at around 6.30pm and asked for a table … he was told they ‘already had too many’ despite all the empty tables and him being on his own. Very offhand and rude and made him feel very uncomfortable. On phoning afterwards we were told they were short staffed and having a difficult day. Nice of them to take it out on a young man on his own. Shameful behaviour! The reality is he was one person, it was early doors, and all he wanted was a warm meal after a long day. He wouldn’t have been taking a table up all night and making demands on the staff. If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation save yourself the trouble and just go to Prezzo. Or just go to Prezzo in any event."

"On the day we booked and went to the restaurant I checked the website which gave three vegan pizza options. Once there we discovered those options were not on the menu, We were told that the website isn't up to date: and it still isn't, I've checked again today. There was no real apology and no offer to make up for this by providing extra vegetable toppings, which would have been good customer relations. I ended up paying £16.00 for a pizza topped with just tomato and mushroom. To make matters worse my pizza and that of my friend were cold and soggy. In fairness, our other companion had the tagliatelle salmone which he enjoyed. Often eat in Primrose Hill but won't be going here again."

"We arrived just before 5pm on a weekday and there was many tables available so we got given a great seat next to the window with a nice view! The food was super yummy and filling after a day exploring Edinburgh. As the evening went on the service became a little slow although they were friendly! It was a nice dinner! "Where do I start! My husband and I were looking forward to afternoon tea at the Orangery restaurant, after perusing the menu online beforehand it sounded quite nice. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our table, the place was almost empty, with only one more couple there. We were asked if we’d like tea or coffee, this came out after 5 minutes. The wobbly cake stand with the very sparse amount of sandwiches and selection of cakes came out much later and our teapot was nice and empty by this time! We weren’t offered a refill and tried in vain to get the attention of the waitress who was extremely busy chatting to the other couple about house prices for about 10 minutes. She noticed my husband waving his arms in desperation to get her attention and completely ignored him 4 times! Eventually she managed to fetch us another pot then took the rest of our milk away whilst she refilled it in the kitchen. I thought we were going to die of thirst! The sandwiches we received were not the ones advertised online. We were given plain ham, cheese and pickle, egg mayonnaise and salmon. Where were the watercress, horseradish, cress etc and the coronation chicken? 4 small fingers of basic sandwiches each…. Not enough and I could have made these at home! The scones weren’t warmed and the cakes bore no resemblance to the menu whatsoever! Where were the mango tarts, Victoria sandwiches, pistachio macarons? We received, very dry coffee and lemon cake, chocolate cake and chocolate macaron. Not very inspiring at all for the hefty £21.95 per head price tag! We couldn’t eat a lot of it as it was that rubbish! We did think we might get chance to take the rest home for the kids, but after waiting another 15 minutes to get any attention we gave up and left. As we stepped out of the door the waitress shouted across the room to us to see if we wanted to take the rest home. We said we would have if she had bothered to ask us 15 minutes earlier. Overall a dreadful experience, zero customer service, very inattentive staff, please don’t waste your hard earned cash on this place. Whilst we were there we looked at reviews on trip advisor and see that many people have complained. Short replies have been added by the Orangery saying that they have taken note of the comments, yet absolutely nothing has been done about any of it! We won’t be returning!"

"We had a peaceful early evening at the restaurant with attentive and friendly staff who were happy to accommodate us. The meal was excellent, and the cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The set menu was fantastic, but I couldn't resist ordering the tasty tiramisu from the main menu for my favorite dessert. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"I was there on Thursday the 2nd of November for my step sons 15th birthday, we have a younger son who is five and is Autistic so anyone who knows about Autism he has a very difficult diet. We were greeted by a waitress who from the beginning appeared a bit off even though the restaurant was empty, my wife ordered spaghetti she stated specifically spaghetti) the waitress brought a plate of pasta penne, Kobi would not have eaten this , when my wife said to the waitress she made out as if it were our fault and she was clearly rattled and rude ! Stating that this was our fault ! As the kid’s menu doesn’t have plain spaghetti? My wife clearly asked for spaghetti! The food we were served was lovely so compliments to the chef but I won’t be back and won’t be recommending this establishment due to the unfriendly and rude behaviour of one member of staff!"

"The experience we had here was atrocious not one of the waiters (all eastern europeans) spoke any English, where miming salt and pepper pots brought us a chilli bottle; the orders were mixed up or duplicated; the food tasted terrible, the portions tiny (for the price); the noise level was way too high; we wanted a mix of set menu and a la carte, the waiter got into a tizz saying we could not do this, all HAD to be one or the other, yet nowhere on the menus did it write that. The only comfort was the stressed out manager, who bless her spoke a little English so we could convey our frustration at it all. A pity as we then had to leave the poor tasting food for a nearby McDonalds; embarrassing as we had planned a great night out. How the heck Talli Joe got voted best Indian in London baffled all of us, they have such a prime location yet service and food were really poor I would never ever go there again, any eaterie in London HAS to be better than this disastrous place."

"The restaurant was not open for our 7am breakfast reservation despite accepting our reservation via Open Table and having an opening time of 6am. We were traveling and needed to be assured a hot meal at an early hour, and Milano never contacted us to cancel the reservation or apologize for not being open when it was supposed to be. Its website also does not have an email address so you can only contact it via phone which doesn't work to alert management to a problem when the restaurant is closed. Very disappointing."

We spent over £60 on 2 starters and 2 main courses, but the food was subpar compared to what you can get at a Wetherspoons or Greene King for less money. "Upon arrival we were told to get drinks at the bar as the table wasn’t ready, however we sat at the bar for 10 minutes and nobody offered us drinks. Our table then became ready. Our waitress was very dismissive of our table of 8 for dinner on Saturday evening. We waited a long time for drinks, which is understandable as they were busy, but when ordering extras it was as if we weren’t allowed. Food was good, no complaints apart from one of our pizzas was “dropped” so brought to the table much later. We understand that accidents happen. When it came to clearing the table, we waited over 45 minutes after finishing eating for plates to be cleared, at which point we asked for the bill. We had earlier in the evening told the waitress that we were finished expecting her to clear, but she didn’t. Our starter plates were still on the table!! The bill came with a £30+ service charge which we chose not to pay. When the waitress found out we weren’t paying this, she seemed very unimpressed and walked off in a foul mood. We then saw her discussing our table with her colleagues. Not good service and definitely not worth the service charge on the bill. We left… plates still at the table! I would recommend the restaurant for the food aspect, but not for good or friendly service!"
