"Came in on Saturday night with my date for our first Zizzi's experience and we were certainly not disappointed with our choice of restaurant. We were greeted at the door by Mark and he set the tone for the night right away with his friendliness...and big personality. He was taking caring of us from start to finish, making sure everything was spot on and gave us a number of recommendations, ALL of which were absolutely fantastic. This genuinely might be the best customer service I've ever received, in any restaurant. Food was of high quality and both flavorful and fresh pizza or pasta, you can't really go wrong with either one here, they are definitely good at what they do, compliments to kitchen staff. If you're looking for wine, Trebbiano, which was recommended to us is terrific and on top of that is great value too. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for a place to take your date and once again our compliments a thank you to Mark especially, who made this a great and memorable night."

"Our previous visit to this branch of Zizzi was much better due to two things: the food was tastier and there were more waiting staff on the earlier visit. The waiter this time was very good but simply did not have the time to engage as staff had previously. This was also true on a recent visit to another Zizzi and it feels as though the absolute bare minimum number of staff are now being employed to maximise profits, but to the detriment of the dining experience. Perhaps more seriously, I think one of the main reasons to go to Zizzi is consistency. It doesn't pretend to be fine dining, but you go because you know what you will get. However, the food was much better in December (including many of the same dishes) and a dish eaten earlier this month in another branch was fine, but even looked quite different this time. There is nothing to really complain about here, but nothing to make me go back soon. Perhaps I have (quite unusually) eaten in Zizzis too frequently in recent months."

"I liked Zizzi’s! don’t get me wrong. for the price of £14.50 I got a thin slice of cake and pommes. it was filling, but thin layer is not my favorite. also I prefer my fries thick. Maybe it's a British ding that explains why it was different for me. either I have had a better vegan pizza, so I can't judge fair anymore. another thing was the cheese was more dripping than chewing gum. it is still a decent choice if nothing else is open in the opposite."

"huge selection of vegan options from rich “plant protein” with lenses and tofu chili, to endless salat combinations. the self-service tablets are great and make it easy to adjust their salat selection completely, they simply check the screen when they pay with the card, as sometimes says it failed on the screen, but approved on the card device. they can be loaded twice on these lines. the personal was great at the solution this, but check them how they can not notice when they don't notice! one of the healthiest and freshest lunch options in the environment. I would recommend one."

"We visited for evening meal on Saturday. I asked the waiter for some advice on one meal and received a short mutter but no help or advice really. The whole experience seemed very rushed and when the food came, it was a total let down....There was also an offer on their website for pre theatre three course for £21 but we were told this was not on offer and the staff knew nothing of it but I had booked in advance and had a reservation on email. We had starters and mains but decided not to bother with a dessert and went into Covent Garden instead."

"Very disappointed. The service was poor from the moment we arrived. No acknowledgement for about 5mins. Appreciate the restaurant was busy but a simple smile or 'we 'll be with you shortly ' would have been enough. My 9 year old daughter was given an adult menu and when we asked for a child 's menu we were pointed to where they were. We then waited at least 10 mins before having to ask if we could order drinks and this lack of attention, coupled with being served by someone who looked like he really didn 't care continued for the evening. Not a venue I will be going back to. Shame because the food wasn 't bad."

"On the day we booked and went to the restaurant I checked the website which gave three vegan pizza options. Once there we discovered those options were not on the menu, We were told that the website isn't up to date: and it still isn't, I've checked again today. There was no real apology and no offer to make up for this by providing extra vegetable toppings, which would have been good customer relations. I ended up paying £16.00 for a pizza topped with just tomato and mushroom. To make matters worse my pizza and that of my friend were cold and soggy. In fairness, our other companion had the tagliatelle salmone which he enjoyed. Often eat in Primrose Hill but won't be going here again."

"We arrived just before 5pm on a weekday and there was many tables available so we got given a great seat next to the window with a nice view! The food was super yummy and filling after a day exploring Edinburgh. As the evening went on the service became a little slow although they were friendly! It was a nice dinner! And I would recommend!"

"Myself and two friends were looking for somewhere to eat last night (it was a saturday) and stumbled upon Pulcinella. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they found a table for us, and the managed was very welcoming. The waiters were all very polite and efficient with one of taking a photo for us as we couldn't manage to get all of us in the photo. We all ordered our 2 courses and when the food came I have to say it was some of the best I've tasted. I had bruschetta for a starter, and it was so fresh and bursting with tomato flavour. For my main I had a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten in my life My two friends also thoroughly enjoyed their food too with everyone complimenting how good it was. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect, it's very homey and welcoming. I think it is a great all-around place that would be perfect for romantic dates and also for family meals and whatnot. All in all, I know the next time I visit Glasgow, this will be one of my go-to places to eat"

"The restaurant was not open for our 7am breakfast reservation despite accepting our reservation via Open Table and having an opening time of 6am. We were traveling and needed to be assured a hot meal at an early hour, and Milano never contacted us to cancel the reservation or apologize for not being open when it was supposed to be. Its website also does not have an email address so you can only contact it via phone which doesn't work to alert management to a problem when the restaurant is closed. Very disappointing."

"It has been a while since we last dined here and it was worth the wait to get back. The food was amazing , great presentation, tastes and flavours, its a super restaurant to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, surroundings and just relax and enjoy the time with your partner. The staff from front of house to the bar, and of course who can not mention Sebastian, what a really nice chatty guy who is great asset to the restaurant. Its great that you can actually see the chef himself in the kitchen (on the night we dined here he was) and know that the food will be perfect when it comes out to you. The menu has so much to choose from and you will be in a conundrum for what to choose as all the dishes look so appetising. Already looking forward to visiting again when next in London."

"didn't know this place was even there. very backward inside, like an 80s Italian. they don't let it go. both eating and service were great. our waitress was really nice and offered us the pre-theater menu, although it was past time for it. the food arrived quickly and the portion sizes were really generous. after eating good and brilliant service we have another good surprise when the tiny bill arrived. we had three courses and a bottle of wine for £41. so good. we agreed that we would definitely visit azzurro again."

"We stumbled across this restaurant after attempting to get a table at ASK Italian, our usual haunt, only to discover they were taking bookings only. What a brilliant find. No fuss, just great, friendly service and really, really good food. The front window looked like it had been vandalised and awaiting repair, which could easily put people off (town louts! but it shouldn't. We will come back here next time we are in York. Can't recommend the delicious food and great service more highly. Could probably do with a little makeover inside but that didn't matter at all."
