"We have stayed at the Kimberley hotel several times but I was not as impressed this time with the food. Our booking deal included a course meal on the first night. My husband chose battered cod and I had the filleted fish. The battered fish was served lying on top of the chips which had been arranged in a row. He found the batter quite oily/greasy which he did not eat but consequently that had left the chips underneath soggy. My fish was nicely cooked. I was also upset to see that several of the courses had a supplement and therefore not offered in the choices unless an extra cost was incurred which further limited the already limited menu. The wine was also very pricey. I felt the for people sounded a good deal which included a bottle of house wine although the house wine was not advertised as an option to purchase. We chose not to eat in the restaurant on the second night"

"I really enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the warm staff that make this place so inviting. If I lived closer, I would frequent it more often. However, living in Dartford, I only come occasionally. Keep up the great standards, well done!"
