"We have eaten several times before though only soup and sandwiches which were good. This time we decided to have Sunday Lunch. There 's no special Sunday Lunch menu and we were uninspired by what was there. My wife opted for scampi chips. The scampi was parcels of a fishy paste. The chips were chip-shaped pieces of what tasted like powdered mash. I asked for nachos etc with pulled pork. The pulled pork looked like regurgitated paste or perhaps baby-food. I admit it tasted meat-like. Both plates went back only half eaten. Looking around the clues were there. A vast restaurant in mid Sunday Lunchtime and we were one of only two tables in use. The other table of four included a very elderly couple who, when handed the menus said oh is this it, don 't you do a Sunday Lunch menu anymore . The waitress offered us a free drink as compensation for the lousy meal. We will still break our journeys there but limit our order to a sandwich, it is a good sandwich bar. If I was the chef I would be embarrassed."

"Booked this restaurant well in advance and received your confirmation. Strangely, we received no call from them to confirm the booking. We turned up as booked but there was no one there. We waited but still no staff. I then spotted a girl doing some paperwork behind the bar. I went to go to speak to her but she picked everything up and went away. I though she was going to get someone to see to us but no.. Eventually we left. This is the first time we have ever had such an experience and the management at Sir Richard should be ashamed of themselves. Fortunately a lovely Italian just down the road found us a table."

"I booked this for me and my friend because of his proximity to our site and thought 3/5 would do for a humble dinner at the end of the day as we were hungry. Big mistake while traveling as a brasserie, the food was more in line with the burgers, steaks and salads served in weather podons, but far below the standard. One of the few still decent looking dishes on the menu was the lampshades, it was too fat and greasy and the potato too hard to finish for my ever starving friend. The avocado and pancetta salad was first dirty, it contained normal bacon, not pancetta and second, the game was so drowned in Balsamico vinegar that everything I could taste was soggy, mucous leaves. Although the service was ok, the ambience was dirty. The brasserie looks like a trendy restaurant as you can see on the site, but it only looks empty, most of the time. If you go to a restaurant on a Friday night and its empty, though for a table, you feel quite reluctant to actually admit, you have a reservation. it had the feeling of a huge empty atrium that you could find in a hotel lobby or possibly airport atrium. The view of the place just didn't work, the food was dirty and seemed like they were trying to be trendy after pub menus of 10 years ago and to worry about the nearby tourism market, but overall it was terrible and I'm embarrassed to have found it on an open table and taken my friend there, provided it was pretty nice."

"very pleasant lunch in the brasserie with some friends. we had octopus, goat cheese salad and caprese salat as appetizers. all delicious and very beautiful presented. as if I had fish and chips since I hadn't had it for ever. great choice, very well cooked as I like it. also the team was so courteous that there was no problem to frying **** to garden bears and thick cut chips. all well recommended."

"Very disappointed and sad we were not the only ones. Since it was mother’s day it was a reduced menu so choice a little limited, sunday roasts, salmon, curry or steak. We asked which steak was served and told chips, tomatoes and mushrooms. Two steaks were ordered. Our appetizers arrived and the bread and salsa, the part of them were not. We raised this up, it got polite. The hello friars were Mozzarella. The main course came and the steak was actually served on roast potatoes, filling, Yorkshire pudding and carrots. Raised this as not happy and 10 mins later chips, mushroom and tomatoes arrived. The roast dinner we had was bad. Beef was fat and hard, potatoes saw boiled, but were hard and only 2 of them. We had also missed a leg harness of cauliflower cheese and said we had to wait 20 minutes if we wanted to. The dessert was okay. We were told that they don't make cocktails, although the drinks menu says there is a separate wine and cocktail menu. Because we complained, they accused us for only 2 courses, not three, which a saving of £20. So we spent £140 on a substandard meal that was disappointing on Mother's Day. We were not the only people who complained."

"Restaurant was empty, which was as well because they had no knowledge of our booking. Three of us had the tapas selection and one the sea bass. Food was good, some of it very good. Pianist was not so good, but we didn’t have the heart to give him to stop playing. Wine was reasonably priced given the quality. Thought the place would have been more popular given the quality, but the waiter told us the previous evening had been very busy"

"ksk aims to use the best seasonal British ingredients. the place is led by sara Adams as chef chef. the place is inspired by saras time to live in sydney and travel in California. this reflex the restaurant clean, simple and relaxing atmosphere. I had the pleasure of being there early to get her weekend brunch. after a short descent the place was full! this place is really a hidden small place that serves delicious food and keeps them away from the crowded places of high st kensington. the place only makes breakfast and lunch. in today's brunch there were many tempting dishes such as pfirsichmalba pancakes with celestial and roasted mangles or steaks and eggs. Instead I have the...read more"

"The restaurant had minimal ambiance with all downlighters. We were using a voucher deal, but it did not cover the cost of sides, nibbles, or drinks."
