A savory blend of caramelized onions, rich beef broth, and melted cheese, topped with a crispy baguette slice.

"Second time here and I must say still perfect. The staff are professional and polite. Nothing to much bother and made to feel welcome. We all had different items from the menu, and each was delicious. Too marks to the chef. Probably the best dinning experience for a long long time. Prices were more than fair for the quality of food and beautiful location. I’ve paid a lot more for really quite inferior meals. Well done all and keep up these fantastic standards. More than happy to pay for service here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We arrived for our 12.30 booking at 12.00, this was obviously frowned upon, we asked if we could stay and wait which they unhappily agreed. We were taken to our table at 12.30, a few minutes later we were given the drinks menu, we asked if there was a different menu for the two course meal deal, they said “no not really just order off the main menu” and they handed over the food menus. We received our drinks and announced that we we’re ready to place our order. 3 x fish and chips and 1 x burger and chips, we thought they had gone fishing as this took so long to get to the table. It arrived….. the fish was delicious, very white and flaky, the chips were bad, under cooked and as for the mushy peas, I have never had garden peas mashed before, disgusting. We ordered desserts which eventually arrived but without cutlery. We asked for some cutlery and again waited 7 minutes for a spoon to arrive. We asked again for the bill, it didn’t arrive, we then asked another two members of staff for the bill, when we received the bill we had been charged full price for the meal deals, we challenged this and they said at the point of actually giving our food choices we should have said two of the orders were meal deals. We refused to pay the service charge as we have never received such bad service, in the mean time throughout our lunch time experience staff were continuously moving tables and chairs all around us. Needless to say we will never return to this chain of restaurant again."

"I have booked this restaurant and received confirmation email from open table. but when we arrived the edwardian, they couldn't find us in the system. we were served the afternoon tea, bud it took some time. After half a jour I got a call from another restaurant and was told that I had a booking for 7 by 2 clock. in this way a fault in its system must occur. the reservation was sent to a wrong restaurant. childcare this is the reason why we stop."

"eating was excellent and reasonable price-performance ratio. there was a very loud group of people, but that was not the restaurants to blame. there is no possibility of alcohol-free beer this day and age seemed bad. the 200cc bottle diet coke at an exorbitant price (I didn't know she made it small, and at this price! was also poor. great when they stay in the hotel, eat here, but don't drink it here."

"Food was average, casual afternoon tea but service was quite good, friendly and looked after us well. We asked them to refill hot water into tea pots several times but they weren’t reluctant to do (actually lots of waiters/waitresses are when I ask or even they frequently (I mean just right timings! asked us if everything was ok topping it up very quickly, changing tea leaves as well albeit this price range. I’ve been to almost all of high end afternoon places in London, not just once, at least few times at each hotels, sometimes (quite often? I have to wait for long time to just order/ask and even longer to get what I want especially at popular luxury places... and some of them rush us to leave tables with bills before we ask although we normally pay more than double than here. To be honest, atmosphere was very casual but really quiet and comfortable to have conversation with my friend, which is also what I liked. Not that elegant or high end style afternoon tea but as a casual catching up place with close or female friends having tea and cakes for long time to have chat comfortably, this place would be very nice! Good value too!"

"We went to L'Absinthe last Saturday with friends. We really enjoyed the restaurant. The only issue was a large table with people that should be in a pub and not in a restaurant. Not the restaurant fault, but I would still expect that management would address this as we and the other tables close to us could definitely not enjoy the dinner."

"FELDOS is an amazing restaurant with superb ambiance and top-notch quality. It is a must-visit! The menu is delicious and the wine collection is impressive. The service is impeccable and the attention to detail is always evident. It is truly a high-quality experience with exceptional food from a talented chef. I have dined there three times since it opened and can't wait to go back. My favorite dishes so far are the French onion soup, minestrone soup, and sweet potato salad. The tuna tartare is also outstanding. Be sure to check out their website and see for yourself how great it is! Highly recommended. AHarris"

"Must admit I was disappointed...been going here over the years and have always loved it. However this time I was in the 'extension ' which is not a patch on the original downstairs space!! Not to self....make sure I book downstairs only! I found it did not have the same vibe and was rather chilly. Secondly, I requested 'medium rare ' and my steak arrived 'well done '....bizarre in a steak restaurant!! So my friend had finished her meal and I ate afterwards on my own....not quite the vibe I was looking for when I booked (however.... we were given the option to send both back so we could eat together...my friends steak was perfect so I think it was too good for her to chance it)... When mine was replaced it was good and the sides were perfect.....just a shame that there were a couple of situations from making it a perfect occasion."

"Modern and cool restaurant. I'm a solo diner, I was offered a table nest some steps, but I asked and was moved immediately to a better spot from my point of view. Able to provide cocktails not on their limited list. Food was really great for me, although it seems to be big on steaks. Limited selection of wine by the glass, but I enjoyed my choice. Disappointed not able to get a glass of prosecco. But did enjoy my pre dinner Aperol spritz. Music is lound and good. I enjoyed it. Service was excellent my waiter Edward was very personable. I'd definitely visit again."

"Was recommended here and shown photos of their meal which was nothing compared to ours it was a cross between a meal in a nursing home or school dinners. We ordered the sirloin, alarm bells should have struck when we weren’t asked how we would like it cooked. Chef was in a tracksuit. Were recommended by the waiter the “feather beef” (never heard of this before) but it was rancid and burnt. It was £96 for two adults and a child and I feel absolutely robbed. The view was ruined by the windows covered in bird poo this could be easily rectified by having the windows cleaned. I actually feel quite angry about the whole meal we made them aware and the waiter was attentive in asking if there was anything he could do or if we had made him aware during the meal he could have rectified it. Not possible. None of it was a La carte or home made the cauliflower cheese was definitely shop bought and microwaved. Would not recommend started to wonder if we’d booked the wrong place the smell alone of the older generation as you go up in the lift is enough to put you off. Bizarre place wouldn’t return."
