"Must admit I was disappointed...been going here over the years and have always loved it. However this time I was in the 'extension ' which is not a patch on the original downstairs space!! Not to self....make sure I book downstairs only! I found it did not have the same vibe and was rather chilly. Secondly, I requested 'medium rare ' and my steak arrived 'well done '....bizarre in a steak restaurant!! So my friend had finished her meal and I ate afterwards on my own....not quite the vibe I was looking for when I booked (however.... we were given the option to send both back so we could eat together...my friends steak was perfect so I think it was too good for her to chance it)... When mine was replaced it was good and the sides were perfect.....just a shame that there were a couple of situations from making it a perfect occasion."

The Sunday roast was perfect and the service was great. Upstairs is a bit more private, and the Gents is a must-see. Well done.

We were lucky enough to get a table to eat here, didn’t have a reservation checked if they took walk in’s, lucky for us they did, the staff where so friendly, cocktails amazing food beautiful, I would 100% recommend

When you’ve tasted the French onion soup it’s difficult to choose anything else as a starter, so my husband tells me. Although the prawn cocktail and the beetroot are my personal favourites. Excellent food and even better service, we were extremely impressed by the level of service! A beautiful, chic place with delicious food with good portions at fair prices. You can tell that everything is made from scratch, even the shortbread. My husband had a cocktail which also tasted very good. Extraordinary experience, thanks so much.

I visited your fabulous restaurant with my 2 daughters on Saturday 3rd February and each of us was 100% ‘blown away’ with every aspect of our experience. Where do I start? Each and every member of staff was so welcoming and went the extra mile. A credit to themselves and your restaurant. And the food totally and utterly delicious from start to finish. The venue too was so beautiful we sat in the terrace magical. To sum up, all 3 of us enjoyed every moment. Thank you so much.
