"The food, the ambience (art, background music, wine bottles all over the walls), the service, the attention to detail ... I cannot emphasise enough how much of a great restaurant Bellaria is. My experience started with a warm welcome, and we were offered samples of wine before making a selection I forgot to ask for the old man's name, he really knows his wines. Constantly vigilant as to the customer's needs (I.e. glass needs a refill, new cutlery, any other requests) Cheers for accommodating my request for a table by the window it did not disappoint. I'd recommend this for a date, it is quite the romantic spot Cons: a bit cramped up with some tables in very close proximity from each other. I could almost hear the breathing of the man at the table behind me But this was not an issue as they have replicated the actual setting from restaurants in Northern Italy (fact checked by my lovely date). Now for the food: Fritto Misto An absolute divine delicacy, You can taste the subtle freshness of the ocean in the seafoodbite carrot sticks are a wonderful surprise that adds depth to this dish. I was a tad skeptical about the Whitebait but it turned out to be my second favourite thing here "

"It was nice but nothing more. The food reasonable but not good value. We were a party of two and one of the mains came up with a long black hair on it and instead of removing all the food whilst a replacement was being cooked, my main and the sides were left on the table for the 10-15 minutes it took to replace so was cold. The server did all he could but the manager was nowhere to be seen. Two happy hour drinks were removed from the bill as a gesture. You can eat at much better places in London for less."

"As we were a group of 9 we were asked to pre-order, no problem. So no idea why we were kept waiting so long to be served the place was virtually empty. The potatoes in my raclette were fried (they should be boiled) and...burned and the cheese was meagre. How the chef managed to cook dauphinoise potatoes with absolutely no flavour is beyone me. And the creme brulee was pedestrian. Others in my party spoke better of their fishcakes and chicken. Perhaps i was just unlucky with my choices. The wine list is limited and totally lacking in detail (doesn't even given the abv of the wines) And the only word I can come up with to describe the service is surly. Spent all evening wishing we'd gone to the Ivy down the road"

"I post regional business meetings with more than 20 with regard to our plc companies. the furnished room was enormous as the facilities. we were warmly welcomed and made an appreciated feeling. a really excellent place. I forgot my laptop charger, who was a challenge because I had many dias to present. one of the teams, jordan, ran home to get her personal charger and rescued the day and my bluffs. jordan literally went the 'extra mile'. I cannot express how grateful I am and thank her very much. the whole day was perfect as eating and service. many thanks to the team of white horse for outstanding expectations - we will see them later this year."

"First and foremost, the service was excellent! Our server was funny, friendly and attentive, really can't fault her at all! The food was decent. We started with the seafood platter and all was very tasty though a little sparse for the price. Would suit 2 or 3 people, but for 4 it isn't a lot. The fish and chips was met with approval, so was the seabream on specials. The roasted cod dish was very nice though perhaps a little fussy? Could probably do with one less ingredient as the fish drowned in the other tastes, but it was nice and the fish very well made. The ambience gets a downgrade as there were a table of influencers in the middle of the room with a great big portable spotlight (to better light the food they weren't eating until it went cold??? which was highly distracting together with their constant photographing. I wish the restaurant hadn't put them right in the middle of the restaurant, it was annoying. Other than that, the restaurant was lovely and does warrant a return visit!"

"I was aimlessly wandering around and came upon this gem in a neighborhood lined with pretty shops and gorgeous homes. It seems to be frequented by local residents, which was exactly what I was looking for, and it has a little shop that sells fruits, vegetables, pasta, olive oils, etc. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese, which was perfectly cooked, hot and topped with just the right amount of parmesan. The meat sauce has to be the recipe from someone's little, old nonna. It was out of this world. I couldn't finish it so I took the leftovers to go along with a scrumptious piece of strawberry cheesecake and a bag filled with oil, vinegar, chips and sweets! "I visited in March 2013 and compared to my favorite steak restaurant in Miami (The Red Steakhouse), I was disappointed that I couldn't find anything as good in London. However, now that I have discovered The Bull Steak Expert, this will be my number one place in the city! I tried the lomo, which was cooked perfectly with a pink, juicy interior that literally melted in my mouth. The meat was delicately seasoned, making sauce unnecessary. I also tried humitas as a side, a tasty Argentine dish I had never had before. Additionally, the Provoleta cheese starter was amazing (but let's be honest, when is grilled cheese ever bad?). I enjoyed it all with a glass of La Fraccion Malbec. The service was very good, prices were affordable, and the atmosphere was cozy, perfect for a casual dinner. I recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was full on a Friday. I will definitely be coming back!"

"with women and children, there was only one table that was concerned, we ordered the sultan mix grill for the 4 of us it was something on the expensive side in comparison to some and outer london area for Turkish food. when the plates arrived, it was well presented, meat was nice and tenderly cooked, and portion generous. service was fast and efficient. negatiw will tip them a water delivered in 150ml glass when asked to jugs was said that they have no jugs, so either they give water in storage glass as I did not constantly ask personal."

"We were looking for an Italian restaurant in Oxford to go to on our way back from The Cotswolds to Bushey. Google mentioned a few restaurants which we called to get a last minute booking but there was only space at Mama Mia. We mainly had Pizzas at Mama Mia. These are the best Pizzas I have had in the UK so far. They are so light and super tasty. I usually cannot finish a whole pizza to myself but can easily gobble these ones and still be hungry enough to eat maybe a dessert or something else. I have been here twice now and loved it both times. I will definitely be making future trips to Summertown all the way from Bushey (Watford) to have them delicious pizzas !"

"we happen to arrive at a rugby match in twickenham and they served for £45 with a fixed rugby menu. they let us check it while they released a space and we decided to stay. we're glad we did this. the smoked salmon and carpaccio appetizers were light and very well presented. we have so hungry that our pictures have missed a third of them. the sausage main was quite delicious, but the lamb shank was the winner: with meat falling from the bone. I preferred her lammy, but was happy with my “Italian färger and Maische.” the tiramisu and rum baba are a split decision. we both preferred the ones we have. we also enjoyed a bottle canaletto pinot grigio, which went well with everything. we will definitely come back."

"Sometimes if I am shopping in Newcastle or meeting a friend I want somewhere to go for lunch that is quick and easy. Marco Polo is an italian restaurant which fits the bill.The interior is modern and not done out in the traditional style of many italian places. I think maybe they are trying to attract the business side of the market rather than families.If you go at lunchtime the place always seems to be busy although they do have more seating upstairs. Partly this may be because they do a business lunch special which comes in at under for either soup or garlic bread and pizza or pasta. Often it is cheaper to go for this choice than to buy a pasta or pizza on its own although there are a couple of restrictions of dishes that aren't included in the deal.Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is great for a quick bite at lunchtime for a bargain price!"
