Marco Polo - Menu

The lasagna I had was very good and S's penne with chicken and pesto was goodPrice and service was OK.

5 of us went here Saturday for lunch and I think I'd have been happier in McDonald's! While the service wasn't particularly bad, it wasn't great

I had a half day in the office and what better way to use a Thursday afternoon in November than having a long lunch and finishing more of my Christmas View menu

The service, food, atmosphere, and efficiency at this restaurant are all top-notch. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. My steak was perfectly cooked, the food was delivered quickly, and the staff was very friendly. This is now my favorite Italian restaurant in Newcastle, and perhaps even in all of England. We will definitely be returning, thank you!

I had a wonderful dinner with my colleagues at this restaurant. We also enjoyed a nice lunch here. Despite not making a reservation, we had no trouble getting a table. The food we ordered was delicious and the waiters were very helpful in recommending dishes. The wine selection was also excellent. The pizza looked great and I personally enjoyed a delicious pasta dish. The starters were generous in portion size and we were all satisfied with our meals. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and it was easy to have a conversation. This would be a great spot for a couple or friends meeting for dinner.

Marco polo's is nicely situated for shoppers to pop in for lunch, or for anyone to eat before hitting the town. It has a good menu although I have scored it lower as the option I chose, pork belly, was quite poor at a ridiculous price too much belly and very little meat. However the rest of our groups stuck to the pizza pasta options and all throughly enjoyed their meals so perhaps a lesson that just because something sounds nice and is expensive doesn't mean you'll be satisfied! Good service, very nicely done out but the lager is very expensive even for town a pint! I do plan to go back and choose something a bit safer from the menu View menu

I think maybe they are trying to attract the business side of the market rather than families.If you go at lunchtime the place always seems to be busy although they do have more seating upstairs.
