"So once a month, my bestie and I treat us one night out and crazy bear was our choice for september. my friend was there several times, but it was my first time and I wanted to know what it was about! I ran as late as ever and my friend was patiently waiting for minutes. at the arrival I was greeted by the super friendly hosts who showed me to our table. to say I have starved was an understatement, and of course, my first thoughts were to flick through the menu and the order! it is always nice to begin after a long day with a glass prosecco! it was all the way that I was up for hours. Yes, this Prosecco glass was very necessary. my friend chose to have the pornstar martini that she highly recommends and added that it was one of the best pornstars she had in london. I have to say that the drinks have come very fast, which is a miracle in london, as they often wait for their drinks for ever! for beginners I decided for the jasmin tee smoked tacky gloucestershire old spots ripping and they had gone in about minutes, simply because they were so delicious. followed by prawn tempura maki roll and salmon sashimi- they should now know that I absolutely love salmon sashimi. for my main thing, I chose the moving butdeen Angus-Rind sirloin, and I love a bit of bark, but perhaps I would have asked the bark to be medium-sized, as it was very chewing and I like my steak to be tenderer. However, the combinations of paprika, oyster mushrooms and oyster sauce are only mouthwater! overall for the price of eating, it was worth definitiw, and I could not be filled anymore. we didn't have much time, but there is a cocktail bar down that seemed to dizz and there was a very cool DJ game music. a few people danced and I wanted to shake a bit, but I had worked pretty early the next day, sad times. I would advise to have dinner and then follow them with drinks down below."

"I don’t recommend coming here unless you plan on partying all night. Myself and my partner came for a 1 night staycation on Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we were blown away by the customer service at the front desk and the interiors in the room. When we came back to the room for the night, there was a lot of noise in the hotel from around 9pm onwards. We didn’t mind this at first as it was still quite early in the evening. We were woken up from 3am-7.30am as there was people slamming doors in the hallway, talking very loudly and playing music in the rooms next to us. We were shocked how management could allow this. It sounded like there was 6 people or more in the room next to us drinking and playing music. We came to the dean for a relaxing night away but unfortunately we came home exhausted . We understood when we booked the hotel that there was nightclubs nearby but the issue wasn’t the outside noise it was the noise inside which was insanely loud. I mentioned this at the front desk when we were checking out and they seemed shocked and said they do walks of the hallways during the night but the noise was so loud I didn’t understand how they couldn’t have heard it. They offered to compensate us with brunch in Sophie’s rooftop which we appreciated but we turned down as we wanted to leave. Overall, lovely interiors and customer service but it is definitely more of a partying hotel than a relaxing quiet one. Unfortunately we won’t be back."

"Won’t be back. As regulars of the Catch it is with real disappointment that I am writing this review. We regularly go with both friends and family but Sunday the 9th April was our last visit. We had purchased vouchers via Itison, a great deal but unfortunately in error had redeemed 2 £60 vouchers instead of a £60 and a £30. We asked for one voucher to be cancelled as we knew that we wouldn’t spend that much. The manager said she would try her best to get it sorted for us, the waiter then told us not to worry, even if it couldn’t be cancelled something would be sorted out for us. We therefore continued to order our usual haddock and chips. The manager came up as we were eating, apologised and said she had been unable to cancel the voucher so we would just need to order other things from the menu. I asked if it was possible for an IOU to be provided and we would return and spend the rest( and more) she told us this was not possible and we would just need to order from the menu. After telling the waiter to tell us not to worry something would be sorted, actually no it wasn’t. We were left to purchase from the dessert menu which was not great considering we were all full from our main meal and our previous experiences with this at the Catch had been extremely poor so we said we would never get a dessert from here again. We ordered 4 sticky toffee puddings and a sorbet. The sorbet was 10 scraped bits of ice cream that had freezer burn, priced at £5.50. The sticky toffee pudding was awful, it was a cold block of pudding with a thin drizzle of sauce and the smallest blob of ice cream. This was priced at £6.95. At these prices you would expect so much more and at least for it to taste good. No one came to ask how dessert was or to check in on us and we left deflated and annoyed. We will not be back!"
