This could possibly be my most favourite place ever! From the fabulous decor with taxidermy a plenty, to delicious cocktails and a fabulous afternoon tea,

Been here 4 or 5 times before, and it was great. Menu changed 2 weeks ago, and it’s now poor. The menu is a downgrade burger, steak, nothing special. The ‘Wellington’ confusing for multiple people in the restaurant thinking it was beef, to then realise it wasnt. The quality was poor too the chocolate fondue was cold and didnt taste good. We ate in the restaurant last night and it was really disappointing. We were seated 15 minutes late, the food order was slow wrong, our meals all arrived at different times and to top it off we were told we had to vacate the table before we had time for dessert! We weren’t even given the two hours that we’d agree on booking that we could have the table for. The waitresses were lovely and the manager was doing her best, but we left feeling the best days of the Crazy Bear are definitely in the past. It’s a shame but there are so many other options now in the market that we won’t be back.

It’s been a while since our last visit so after receiving a gift voucher for my birthday for Sunday lunch for two I chose to book the crazy bear in Beaconsfield. Well what can I say except that it feels that it has really lost its sparkle. Today was not a great experience and we won’t be back in a hurry. If you had a voucher then you were seated in a different area to everyone else, there was one waitress called cristine who was amazing looking after 8 tables on her own. The roast was dreadful, the chicken was deep fried and the roasted potatoes and parsnips were like rubber. Loads of staff lingering around that sadly did not look like they even wanted to be there. Today, my partner and I attended your Beaconsfield venue for afternoon tea, courtesy of our friends to celebrate our recent engagement. I regret to share with you some of my disappointments from our experience today. We were seated by a window which had lovely views of your garden area, however unfortunately could hear your staff swearing and moaning about their day and other customers which we found slightly uncomfortable and made the experience less pleasant. We were seated at 8.30pm…food didn’t arrive until 10pm…all dishes Luke warm and totally tasteless, sent back 2 dishes as they were so bad they couldn’t even been eaten, as so dry! Firstly the food was amazing. A solid 8.5/10! We had a table for 4 at the English restaurant for my nans 80th birthday! We had the loveliest waitress but the time it took for food and drinks to come out was so slow it ruined the experience! It took 45 mins to get any sort of food on the table! Group of 6 of us recently went to Beaconsfield crazy bear for Sunday lunch . Our meal and service at the table was absolutely great but then we were asked to move to the tent to have our teas /coffee’s there . Once having our drink a waitress came and literally brought a bill and said are you going to pay your bill now? Which was very rude ! I have never been approached like this for paying my bill !
