However, when we received the bill, the restaurant did not apply the £10 discount per person as promised. When we inquired about this, we were informed that the restaurant had opted out of the scheme, which we were not made aware of. The manager was unhelpful and even rude when we raised our concerns. After some negotiation, he agreed to remove one meal from the bill and waive the service charge to make up for the mistake. The poor management service left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. We would not have traveled 1.5 hours to Crazy Bear on a Tuesday night if it had not been for the scheme."
