"If this was my first Brazilian Steakhouse experience, I wouldn 't go to another one again. The self service bar was a mixed bag, some dishes were good, such as the pork and black bean dish. There was a bit of an over reliance on pre grated parmesan that made dishes dry. The restaurant advertised a green card/ red card service but didn 't seem to actually have that. Despite this, service was fairly regular. The restaurant seems to heavily favour filler meats, so either low quality cuts of beef (the beef rib I had a lot of, which tasted very greasy) or meats you would not go to a steakhouse for chicken thighs, sausages, pork ribs etc. A lot of the sirloin offered was exceptionally fatty and one serving I was given didn 't actually have any meat on it. Waiters also did a poor job of explaining what we were having and seemed very inexperienced in some cases. Drinks were poor, I only had a pepsi and it was dropped on me (and not cleaned up) so there was a puddle around the table. Some Brazilian steakhouses offer bottomless drinks to complement the style of food this place does not, and the prices are high for a serving size of a can of pepsi max. We were offered dessert, I didn 't know what the dishes were or that dessert was even available that should be communicated better. They looked good, however I declined. This place also adds to your bill a Discretionary 12.5% surcharge without letting you know. I asked the waiter what this charge was for and he literally said nothing, even when repeating the question. I guess it 's just a tip, and I still paid it be aware of this practice though as you are still asked to add a tip to your bill."

"So I'm on a mission to lose some weight and get healthy, my daughter was adamant she wanted to come here for dessert. We heard it was under new management, so we were a little apprehensive. However, I enjoyed it before, but I used always get a waffle. We walked in, and the new owner was there to greet us. He told me straight away there weren't any waffles available, and to have some would be a half-hour wait. The waffles were the reason we went. I almost walked out of there, but my daughter wanted the ice cream instead. So we were a group of My children made their order and enjoyed it; the youngest one went for that blue ice cream. She enjoyed it but wasn't a fan of bits that were in it. The other three enjoyed their desserts. I thought I'd get a sundae; call it a proper cheat day (I have a lot of them). I got the chocolate sundae, and for once in my life, it was perfect. Not too sweet I felt sick, but just right so I could enjoy it and finish it off. Great value for money, and the customer service was flawless. I told my daughters to go make their orders, but the older were being shy, so when I was sitting on the table asking one of them what they wanted, I repeated it loud enough the owner got the gist of what I was doing, and was in the ball. Really nice desserts, couldn't recommend it enough. Will be back maybe even tomorrow for a waffle. Just gotta watch those calories. Lol."

"Came across this Thai restaurant whilst venturing around Upper Street in Islington Angel. This is not a cafe, this is an exquisite Thai restaurant that serves supurb Thai food in a lovely setting. We hadn't booked but were fortunate to be allocated a table, their is seating outside at the front of the restaurant, lots of seating inside but then it opens into this lovely outdoor garden area which really gives this place an unique and stylish atmosphere, it has a lovely ambiance with fantastic hosts so attentive and so professional. We chose The Chicken Dumplings £6.65 and the Spring Onion Pancake £3.00 as our starters, incidentally served very quickly. They were slightly greasy and luke warm but nevertheless you could taste the thai flavours oozing through every bite so we didn't mind. Our main courses were the Grilled Chicken Curry £12.90 and the Massaman Beef Cheek Curry £13.80 were both delicious. Succulent chicken and the beef was just so tender it was absolutely perfect, the flavours infused with every mouthful made these dishes. We both had the egg fried rice served with our curries which were reasonably priced at £3.50. The drinks served here are on the tad pricey side but that being said in fairness if you expect quality food, perfect ambiance you expect to pay slightly more for your drinks. The only negative criticism I can give is that the seating in the outdoor area could do with being more comfortable hence the 4 star review. In conclusion a lovely Thai restaurant not sure why they call it a cafe though as the name does not do it any favours as this establishment certainly doesn't look like a cafe, it doesn't feel like a cafe and it definitely doesn't charge cafe prices as the restaurant includes a 12.5% service charge. Highly recommend opens ever day 12.noon to 23.00. We noted that it closes 10.pm on Sunday's so beware."

"Our 1st experience dining at Sohe. The ambience was amazing, the music was upbeat and lively. We were sat down immediately as we had a reservation. The staff were very warm, efficient and accomodating as we had 2 kids as well. The menus are not extensive which is a good thing if you are unsure of what to get. I have to commend the servers knowledge of the dishes. We ordered some cocktails and juices for the kids. For starters, we ordered the sharing platter as well as the prawn crackers for the kids. If you love a bit of spice, then the sauce that comes along with the crackers is a definite win. The chicken satay, squid and spring rolls were delicious and cooked really well although we were a little disappointed with the kale as we felt it was too oily and lacked taste. For the main course, we ordered the roasted monkfish and prawn curry along with the Chicken Katsu curry. The quantities were really good, although I expected two or more pieces of the monkfish. However there were lots of prawns but just 1 piece of the fish which I felt should have been the star of the dish for the amount you pay for it. The desserts were outstanding and cannot be faulted. And although we ordered just the 3 scoops of sorbet, the presentation made it worthwhile. The flavors were delicious. It was my daughters birthday and the servers made is extra special for her by singing Happy Birthday to her. Overall, it was quite a good experience, the food was delicious, value for money, the staff were amazing and we will definitely be back to try out a few more dishes."
