"I really enjoyed visiting Spoon Street frozen yogurt bar on the Upper Newtownards Road, so was delighted when a branch opened in Belfast city centre's Ann Street. I visited last week and thoroughly enjoyed it, trying the dairy free lemon (quite tarte) and watermelon (sweet tasting) options which the staff told me were dairy free because they are fruit based sorbets. These sorbets have a richer, creamier consistency than traditional sorbet, being more like whipped ice cream. All the usual toppings are available ranging from healthy fruits to sweets and chocolates. I did notice there seemed to be fewer flavour options in the city centre location than at Newtownards Road. Perhaps more seating space and less dispensing machines. I will definitely return, but as it's now October, it may be the summer months before I visit this or any other frozen yogurt bar again. The novelty of frozen yogurt is beginning to wear off a bit for me. Also who wants to eat such cold food during icy winter months?! Fabulous when summer sun is shining, but possibly not an all year round activity. Maybe they should diversify into mulled wine over winter time..."

Just one vegan option. It's disappointing. The taste was good, but the price was expensive. Not much more to say.

There are vegan sorbet options and a lactose-free vanilla frozen yogurt available at this restaurant. The prices are a bit high, but the desserts are nice.

The restaurant offers a variety of vegan sorbets, such as lemon, raspberry, and watermelon, but the selection is limited to fruits and nuts. The prices are a bit high and they use a cradle payment system.

Vegan sorbets available, including lemon, blood orange and watermelon etc., although limited to the choice of fruit and nuts among the only options. Small on the expensive side with the cradle payment system

they had only 2 vegan options: blood orange or watermelon sorbet. the machine did not work for the watermelon so I had to get the blood orange. it was tasty, but hardly vegan topping decisions. I could have got Biscoff spread, but I can't imagine it's good with a blood orange sorbet! View menu

A standard fro yo place with toppings to add to your hearts content all at a price though. Only had one vegan option for fro yo mango sorbet. Not a natural taste definitely added sweetener. No signs on the toppings to say if vegan friendly or not so go prepared. Very expensive fro yo charged per weight of tub.

There were only two vegan options available at the restaurant: a bleeding sorbet or watermelon sorbet. Unfortunately, the machine was not working for the watermelon sorbet so I had to settle for the blood orange option. While it was tasty, I didn't consider it to be a typical vegan topping choice. I would have preferred to have the biscoff spread, but I couldn't imagine it would pair well with a blood orange sorbet.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."
