"Disappointed. Arrived and host was on the phone for at least 15 mins. Didn’t even acknowledge us , security door man was embarrassed by it so decided to take our coats. Once host eventually acknowledge us it was another wait to for some one to come and collect us and show us our table. Once seated it was slow to be served . Food came out in drips and drabs . Why send the rice out 10mins before the main ! As some were getting their mains , the two who ordered the wagyu beef were told it had run out so we were offered ribeye steak instead. Not a good choice . So fatty . I did enjoy the sushi I had so wasn’t a complete flop . We were really looking forward to this after we had a great dinner earlier in the year at a different Ivy Asia . This St Paul’s branch was an absolute let down. Won’t be booking here again any time soon."

"Made plans to come here for lunch after a morning visit to Camera Obscura which is just a little way up the mile. Been here before years ago loved it…love it still! Great ambience, fantastic service and amazing food all hot, fresh and tasty. Large portions too! I can definitely recommend the haggis bites they’re delicious. Shout out to our sever Sophie who was lovely; welcoming, friendly efficient. Love this place will return."

"big burger. juicy, but not too juicy to be clumsy. I went to bark with American cheese. the cheese didn't get through much so I can try the blue cheese next time. the chips were crispy, crispy, dense, but still fluffy. they were the smell and taste of rosemary and I am very glad that they did not salt them. in the past there was always too much salt. very happy and I would try another burger again."

"I visited this restaurant with my two children, ages 6 and 10. The server who attended to us had a very cold and unfriendly demeanor. She directed us to a specific table to sit at, even though there were other empty tables available. We requested to sit at the back in order to all fit on one bench, but she coldly informed us that those seats were reserved. We ended up sitting where she directed us and waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. After eating, we left and noticed that the supposedly reserved seats remained empty. Overall, the customer service was lacking."

"from beginning to end, this can only be described as one of my worst restaurants experiences. we were a little early on our table so we were invited to stand at the bar to wait for our table. we waited and waited and waited for twenty minutes to serve and there was only one person in front of us. We were totally ignored while the two people behind the bar took care of the table orders. eating ordered and when it came, it was wrong so that the food of my wife had to go back. another order was also wrong and they promised to bring the fritten asap. they came when we all finished our eating. the food of my wife came back right, but the plate was full of fat and pommes was microwave. eating all looked completely inconspicuous. the manager took the cost for the meal of my wife from the bill and the riders who never arrived but nothing for our experience or offered more drinks. unnecessary to say that we never go back. it felt as if they really did not deal with the volume of people."

"I opted for the healthiest thing on the menu! Not like me but I felt like my body needed it, it was immense, so many flavours on one plate with lovely grilled chicken Staff were super friendly and attentive especially to my elderly mum in her wheelchair My mum is a super complainer and she never moaned once, so that's a feat in itself, well done lol"

"What a superb experience, and a beautiful location. Inconspicuous from the outside but once inside, a wonderful conservatory gives diners a view over the majestic courtyard which could be a world away from the hustle and bustle of the busy London streets. We were greeted, served and fully attended to amazingly, by all the staff and the food was exceptional, with a menu that has something to suit all. Beautiful decor, with plush leather dining chairs in Tiffany blue and white linen table cloths, gives a feeling that the bill is going to be much more expensive than it is. One of our party commented that this was the best Christmas dinner (apart from his wife's ; ) that he had ever had, and the turkey slice he was presented with was certainly huge by usual standards. As I said in the title of this review, if you haven't been already, you're missing out, and I can't believe it wasn't even busy. I'm loathed to leave this review as I really want to keep this little gem for myself but I need to give this wonderful restaurant and staff the credit that is due. If you want to impress but still keep an eye on the purse/ wallet, this place is definitely for you. "

"We went for prior to attending a show, the food was good I had the chicken skewers and my husband had the burger who though it was average. The service was excellent could do enough and the food was very quick. Would recommend a visit."

"The Filling Station, also known as the Recharge Station, is a chain of restaurants that some people refer to as American style, located throughout the United Kingdom but mainly in Scotland. Each location offers a mix of local and British dishes, making it a bit of a hybrid between a traditional American restaurant and something more unique. The prices are reasonable and the food is of good quality. The menu includes Scottish specialties like haggis, pasta, and burgers, along with a selection of wines and decent beers (served from 10:00 am to midnight). The modern atmosphere and decor make it a great spot for a casual meal or a quick bite, living up to its name as a place to refuel with good food."

"The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and pleasant ambiance. The menu was typical and offered comfort food options. The portions were large, but overall the food was somewhat disappointing, particularly the side of child chips (which were replaced fairly)."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Whenever I visit London, I make it a point to experience a classic British establishment. 'The Parlour' at Fortnum & Mason never disappoints, despite prices being a bit on the steep side. This time, I opted for the ‘Parlour Tea’ set menu, which features a nice variety of items from the main menu. I chose the Elegant Rarebit and a selection of scones, accompanied by an iced coffee. The food was delightful—tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend a visit here, and while you're there, be sure to explore the lower floors for even more culinary inspiration."

"The waitstaff are constantly going up and down the stairs, so it’s always a bit unpredictable whether they’ll be available to serve you upstairs. It would be helpful if they had a system to keep track of what customers need, as we waited about 15 minutes to place our order when it was quite empty upstairs. This isn’t the first time we’ve experienced this. Aside from that, I really love the restaurant!"

"Very dissapointed! Had such high hopes!. Started with the female manager being very awkward and honestly disinterested. Order a whole range of food and just look at the enimic skinny small looking wings. It was crunchy on the outside but mushy on inside??!! I dnt know how did managed that! Had the shrimp burger and again poor quality! The milkshake was not nice. We ate half the food and asked for the bill literally 5min after getting the food. The female manager didnt even bat an eye lid or ask if everything was ok or any expression on seeing the amount of food left over. I had high hopes but been let down by poor customer service and poor food at high prices"

"This review is based on my experience on the day, and could be different for you, but I doubt it. I kept being told about a Burrito bar in Southampton and that I should try it. Well I attended today, with the friends who told me about this place, and have to say I had, up to this point never had a Burrito in my life. Seen many programs showing them but never had I ever tried one. Followed what my friend did, and I got my burrito the way I wanted it to be. You walk in, you’re asked if you want a small or large (unsure if medium is available burrito. Then your problems start, but in a nice way. So many main options it can be mind boggling until you get your head around it. The staff were fantastic after I chosen my main meat/rice of tomato rice and shredded beef. I then moved on to the extras, sauces, chose a mild sauce many salad options and it was then prepared for eating (folded then wrapped in silver foil then payment. And I was ready to eat at the tables in the front part of the shop. Warning that prices vary dependent on the size and the meat you have as your filling. Mine with shredded beef with the rice and toppings I chose totaled £9.95. No complaints from me as the food was hot, tasty, held together by the silver foil, filling and worth every penny in my opinion. Pricing is no different to any local take away I suppose but the bigger the meat (to many to list hear, but from pulled meat to chunks of steaks you have the more expensive it is but it is filling and good value. If you are not a meat eater you could ask for a vegetarian burrito, made of rice and the vast vegetable additions. Cannot see that being an issue. You can do take away, eat in or delivery. They do other dishes which I did not even get to look at but I would say all pallets are catered for. You could always call in advance or check their website, Mexigo Southampton. I think there are other Mexigo branches around the local area as far as Maidstone if you google Mexigo. Don’t shoot the messenger as this was the first time I had visited this shop/chain and I was unsure as you are reading my review, but I was satisfied with what I chose, and think if you plan your selections well either there or via the website you will not be disappointed."
