"Our main courses, however, were delicious, with the Bangers and Mash being a standout. When it came to dessert, we shared a Treacle Tart with Clotted Cream, but were disappointed by the minimal amount of cream provided. When my friend asked for more cream, he was brought bowls of coconut ice cream after a long wait. We later found out that the cream we had been served was just double cream, not the advertised Dorset Clotted Cream as they had also run out of that.
It appeared that the kitchen was not effectively communicating with the waitstaff about available menu items. The restaurant also seemed to be understaffed, leading to a negative experience for us. Despite this, we will still visit our other favorite Davy's Wine Bars, such as The Mug House in London Bridge, Davy's at St James, and The Crusting Pipe in Covent Garden. This one visit has not entirely deterred us."
