We were seated fairly quickly, but that is where the praise for Las Iguanas ends Service was extremely slow and somewhat incompetent... "A truly painful experience. Waited over an hour for food with people who came in after us being served before us as our waitress obviously forgot to put the order through. Got sat next to the door on a chilly day whilst large groups of teenagers were in and out constantly vaping/smoking leaving the door open. Had to get up to close it all the time; luckily a family was sat next to us who tagged in with the door closing. It seemed tables just drinking were prioritised over people ordering food. And when we finally got our food I found a bit of metal Brillo pad/scourer in the chips. A restaurant run by children for children to get drunk on cheap cocktails, definitely not somewhere to go for dinner."

"I always wanted to try here for a while, so I have about Just Eat! Arrived on time piping hot and super packed! I went for the 5 tapas bundles of food deal warns about what every thing was like, I just ordered what sounded good haha. My least favorite was the Brazilian Peace Chicken, although it juicy, tender and spicy as I like it tbh it had no taste, a bit boring tbh. The Brie and Mango Empanadas were nice, savory, tad sweet and cheesy mmm! Next, Albondigas was for me a really nice meatball court, very secret and hearty taste, really nice! My next Fav was the Chicken Quesadilla, full of taste.. Chicken pepper and all kinds, the pack it came, was soft and slightly carburized. very taaty indeed! My absolute favorite of all was the Fiesta Tapas.. What is that I hear you ask? Basically, his salad Lol was not just some salad tho this was stunning.. full of all kinds of flavors with watermelon and those little red beads I have never seen, which are actually called Roquito Peppers, which are sweet and spicy anyway not usually a salad person, but this would I very recomend"

"Sat in a booth requiring use of the QR code to order. Fine accept not the greatest app. Ordered a cranberry juice then changed our minds, removed it from the order but it still went through. Rather unfriendly waitress proceeded to lecture us on the fact that once order submitted its too late. Seeing as we had pressed submit literally a minute a before, we could cancel, so not a great start. Ordered the Mexican poppadoms and enchiladas. Expected the poppadoms to come first as “nibble while you wait” but they arrived at the same time as the enchiladas which was a little odd as they didn’t tell us this would happen up front. The food arrived very rapidly which is good but would have liked to take our time a bit. The enchiladas were delicious. Overall slightly soulless, not sure I’d go back."

"Food was really good but took an hour to get our order taken. Nice not to be rushed but that was ridiculous. Also, not particularly impressed with COViD precautions menus were not disposable and shared between tables with no wiping or sanitisation. Also, everyone was squished into one area of the restaurant with no regard for social distancing."

"we went to las iguanas on lakeside on Monday bank holiday 31. May 2021. Although it was very busy, we were able to book a table for an hour and half, so we hanged around the shopping center until our time was up. the staff was very friendly and welcoming. eating was very good and a good value for money. I didn't go to enjoy getting a free deal on the cocktails, but will go back definately as they looked very good. if at all, I would say that the muisc was quite loud, but that did not affect our experience and the whole family was quite happy."

"We had the Celebration menu. which was great value at £19.95 for 2 courses and a drink. There had been a run on Bottomless Brunch over the weekend and they had no Cava left however we were given a substitute of House White wine which was fine. Nachos starter was very generous portion and lovely.Chicken quesadilla tasty but a bit sloppy. MOQUECA DE PEIXE was delicious. XinXim was tasty but a little bland probably a good option for kids or people who don't want a fiery dish. Finished with Churros from the dessert menu which were lovely. Enjoyable meal. Friendly service. Ideal for Pre Theatre dining experience."

"Been here recently for bottomless brunch for 1st time. Now whilst the service and the staff were great, the rest was a bit disappointing, considering you pay almost 40 pounds one would expect more food and better drinks. We were in 6, all plates were like medium to small portion size, I had burgher and was tasty but small, fries not included which is very strange for the price. Yes u can drink as much as you want for 2h, thing is their cocktails had almost no alcohol in it. I had 8 cocktails so did my friends and we left pretty much sober. I guess they don't want ppl to get drunk and loud there, but then at least adjust your price. 34 pounds for small burger and juice water isn't a good deal. Nice service and staff but no money value"

"Great restaurant, very atmospheric with amazing interior. Great place to go for a casual/more fancy meal with drinks. The night we went had a limited cocktail menu but even the cocktails they had were great tasting and had good amounts of alcohol. "We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 and were seated at the bar with a drink. The service was slow as there was only one bartender making cocktails. The food was okay when we sat down to eat at 7:30. Unfortunately, the bar closed at 9 o'clock and we were not able to get another drink, which was disappointing and put a damper on our evening. Additionally, around 20 people were turned away as the restaurant was practically empty with only two tables remaining at 9 o'clock, even though they were only looking for drinks."

"The staff were very pleasant and informative. Our server Ellie was very bubbly and welcoming. This was our first visit here and we enjoyed the food, although we thought the enchilada could have been slighty spicier.left feeling satisfied and pleasantly full, however probably won't visit again as i thought a lot of the dishes were over priced for what they were."
