"We absolutely adore Taperia! This hidden gem in Thornton Heath always greets us with a warm welcome and provides excellent service. The food is phenomenal - authentic, generous, and simply delicious. During our latest visit, we tried the paella for the first time and found it to be a great value for the price. We even had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The variety of tapas available is impressive, catering to everyone's tastes. While the lamb chops are a standout, our personal favorites are the dates wrapped in bacon and the croquettes. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a nice mid-week meal, Taperia is the perfect choice. We can't wait to come back soon, as it truly is a fantastic dining experience."

Nice when get advice like that. Nice choice of lagers father was happy My only point would be the cider having had many Spanish ciders wouldn't say this one was my favourite was ok but many traditional ones out there shame that, but seen as this was only point i can fault place will be visited again in future and 5* on dood /service"

"We were told off because we had no reservation. Few min later we booked a table with opentable and went back but were told off again as it doesn't make since to them to book a min before entering even though there were lots of seats available in opentable. Very rude service and the person calling himself the manger was not professional at all yet very very rude. Oooh yeah! They said reservation has to be 2 hours in advance which doesn't state anywhere!"

"If you're in Earlsfield, London, then you should check out Ben's Canteen. This is much more than a burger joint, this is a great little restaurant serving food to suit all tastebuds. They also have a unique dining experience called #tablefor10. This is where you make a reservation to dine at a communal table with other people, the intention being to interact with everyone around the table. You also receive a 10% discount on your bill. The menu offers an eclectic mix of dishes as well as a good range of burgers for which they are known. Some dishes worthy of a special mention are the prawns, scotch egg and make-your-own guacamole. The guacamole was fun to watch as my opposite diner...read more"

"We enjoyed all of the dishes we chose except that the Patatas Bravas could have done with more tomato sauce. We were given a carafe of water without having to ask for it, which I always think is a good thing. Service was prompt and efficient. The background music was a bit too loud."

"Great how this restaurant has changed to Spanish, Needs more Spanish decor though to make it feel and look Spanish, As with music too, be nice to have Spanish music in the background too, Food was ok, no complaints, but did not eat much, Celebrated my daughters birthday there just of us, and they pulled out a small cake for her and a cocktail and she was yrs old as well. Staff very pleasant and courteous, Could do with a smoking room though to the rear as outside the door kept opening and closing, but i put up with it. Overall am happy. And my daughter had a good night with Brothers playing songs and guitars at the back, great fun will go again for sure sometime soon"

"I'm more normal. for decades. even if it was still in rue lauriston. I go there for the great good and the beautiful atmosphere and the great service. once I took my family on a Sunday. eating was fabulous as usual, but many appetizers, main courses and most gloomy were not available and the service was really not normal. that's sad."

"my little man picked me a few weeks ago for tasty tapas to mother's day. tendido cuatro, in Parson’s green, is sister restaurant to the popular tendido Cero/Cambio de tercio in kensington. we used to live away from tendido cero when we moved to london and it remains one of my favorite Spanish tapas in london. this was the first time that we tried tendido cuatro and I wished for taste and consistency. they have not disappointed. the menu suggests a series of 3-4 tapas plates per person, which was simply performed with a standard list of old favorites. we were short tried by their Paella menu, but chose to skip it because there was no possibility we could manage the minimum order of 2 Paella sections together with the tapas! of course we started with the obligatory sangria and padron paprika to awaken the appetit. the “no red meat solution” of my new year broke into tendido cuatro, as there was no way I went without iberico jamon and my favourite ham and bechamel croquettas. absolutely divine, especially after 3 months no red meat! I loved the unique presentation of the patatas bravas. they don't look so elegant. the grilled squid and pulpto were favorites of tendido cero and tasted as well as our memories. the crema catalana was good, but oh my churros. yummy! I had tendido cuatro full of tapas and broken resolutions. it was an unforgettable Mother's Supper and we will definitely return with place for paella. highly recommended tendido cuatro for excellent Spanish cuisine in a local environment. look at this when they are in the opposite and do not skip the sangria, croquettas and churros!"

"I was visiting Warwick with the wife for our wedding anniversary and wanted to find a nice restaurant, La mesa came high on the Reviews and some times you have to take TripAdvisor with a 'Pinch of Salt ', I looked deeper into the internet and found some food critic who gave excellent reviews so had no hesitance in booking...... and we were not disappointed! This is a small and cosy restaurant, ideal for couples, a small group of friends or a business dinner. A 6 course taster menu (only option and changes every night) prepared to the quality most people dream of and only see on TV, and all for a modest set price. neighbouring tables had allergies or food preferences and this was also covered for! Don 't ask me what ingredients and herbs and spices accompanied the courses, that is explained as it was served, but I can tell you that we had a Spicy Chicken Soup, Buffalo Mozzarella on a bed of Seaweed, a large Pork meatball, Giant Prawns on a bed of Risotto, Slow cooked Lamb with a truffle mash and a creamy sugar glazed dessert. Washed down with a couple of bottles of Rioja and a Spanish liqueur compliments of La Mesa! I would 100% recommend La Mesa, fantastic food, great atmosphere, warm, welcoming and attentive staff, great wine and I love the open 'not a show kitchen ' but a creative kitchen! Booking a must and I believe 4-6 weeks in advance!"

"We booked a table on a Sunday evening for 3 people. The first waitress who served us was quite abrupt and didn’t like us asking if we could move tables. (Even though the restaurant was empty) The one she had put is on was extremely dark as the lights above were out. The restaurant is already dimly lit and this meant we would have been struggling to see anything at all. After this, they had pretty much run out of everything on the menu, which became pretty comical by the end. They even had no fruit for the sangria! However the other waiter, was so funny and entertaining (even under stressful circumstances) it was hard not to have a great evening! The food (that was available) was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A great night, we would go back, but I would find it hard to recommend on my experience"

"Amazing! My family lives right across from this restaurant, and we decided to dine there during our visit. We can't wait to go back! The Spanish cuisine is incredibly authentic, prepared by the sweetest Spanish lady. Everything was delightful, and we couldn't fault anything. Personally, I loved the veal—it was absolutely superb. My partner's favorite dish was the eggplant with walnuts and honey. It was truly a 10/10 experience!"

"The food and service at this restaurant are excellent, but it is quite expensive. The building is beautiful and it is in a great location, although it could use a bit more atmosphere. The stools were a bit uncomfortable. The 12.5% service charge as standard seemed steep, especially considering the high prices. It is a nice option for a special occasion or if you are willing to spend £100 per person."

"I almost don’t want to review this place because it feels like London’s best kept secret. Copita is absolutely my favourite restaurant in London. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple years and the food, service, and vibe are never anything short of exceptional. The sign of a really good restaurant is when you leave, you aren’t just full, you’re nourished and fulfilled. That’s how Copita makes me feel after every meal. I can’t believe how reasonable the prices are considering the quality and location."
"Used to really enjoy coming here and would recommend to everyone but we were quite disappointed with our most recent meal. The only stand out dishes were the Ribeye and black rice paella but other dishes were just OK, uninspiring and very overpriced for the quality. Did not particularly enjoy the aubergine (too bitter) or the Patatas bravas (too soft, underseasoned). The potatoes that accompanied the broken eggs were also too crispy. Will probably not return but the staff were very friendly!"

"Visited this week for first time in a year Mandekic was not as it was when the owner ran the place. We booked online with a proviso that if we didn’t show there would be a charge which is fair enough. What we didn’t know...was that 1/2 hr before you will get a msg to say you have 1 1/2 hrs to eat your food! ; 1 hr into the meal people were waiting on our table outside and at 1hr 25 we were presented with our bill. No rush!!! One course was forgotten off the order and everything felt so rushed that it’s difficult to recommend this place anymore especially as so maybe new good places opened nearby in the last year. Hopefully others have a more memorable visit."

"The restaurant features a beautiful, modern, and minimalist interior. The bread served with butter was good. I tried the green curry burrata, which was excellent with a complex flavor profile. However, the strozapreti with fried sausage was rather simple and predictable, which was disappointing. The fish main dish had an excellent crispy skin accompanied by a beautifully caramelized sauce. For dessert, the crème brûlée resembled a crema catalana, but it was overly sweet. The cheese selection, labeled as "Cheese Evil," was a real letdown. The assortment wasn't particularly large, both in selection and variety, which was surprising given the reputation. On a positive note, the service was attentive. There was an easy wait between the starter and the main, which I only noticed because we had an appointment after the meal."

"I'd been wanting tapas but honestly this place is not very good. Pretty poor service as I had to flag someone down each time I needed something, including my initial order. My first tapas came out quickly, but before my water/wine, which the runner was confused about and investigated for me. The wine I selected didn't taste good (and honestly my palate is not that refined) and the food was mid-quality, including average bread and olives with gigantic pits. I sat outside and right next to a heat lamp which was nice. Nothing was actively really bad or horrible but I would recommend going elsewhere."

"We dined here last night, on an overnight stay in Inverness. I had the homemade chicken liver pate starter, rib eye surf n turf and the date and ginger pudding. My better half had the Prawn and mango starter, rump of lamb, and posset dessert. All carefully crafted, nicely presented and with great produce. The meats and seafood were outstanding. Pleasant staff, always willing to help. A little gem. Forgot to take any pics, as the nosh was too tempting."

"The restaurant was very accommodating when we requested a large table at the last minute, and the service was outstanding. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had in London, and the food was delicious as well. We definitely plan on returning!"
