"*Updated review* The last time I visited I didn’t have a great experience and as such left a poor and honest review. However I had heard good things from friends so I gave it a second try 10 months on. So fair is fair, it is only right I update my review. This time the food was nicely presented and very good. (Almost night and day from my last visit). The burger came with a nice side salad and fries. The fish and chips came with home made Chucky chips and generous portions. Based on my last visit I would recommend this place. Original review Bit of a disaster tonight. Came for a family meal and chose from the specials board. It was initially served with wraps until I pointed out it was advertised with rice. When the rice did come it was awful… and I mean inedible. It was more like mashed potato. My order was then kindly changed to a cheese burger and fries. The chips were not cooked through and raw and the bun was solid (as if it hadn’t quite been defrosted properly) I am surprised as I saw other burgers coming out of the kitchen with side salads and all nicely presented. Can only think that the kitchen was overstretched… on a positive the servers were very attentive and polite."

"Called the restaurant this morning to book a table for Brunch at 11am. I was told it was a walk in service only. On arrival we were told that there wasn’t a table, that the coffee machine wasn’t working and that Brunch finishes in 10 minutes! We could ‘pop’ back at 12pm for lunch. I thought Bruch was served after breakfast and at least until 12pm. I could understand if Breakfast finished then but not Brunch, hence the name Brunch. Will not return."

"Burger King is a regular spot for me and my family. The staff are friendly and efficient. Today, I ordered two double cheeseburgers and fries with a drink for £4.90, but they accidentally gave me an extra cup. Not a big deal since I was with my mother, but could have been an issue if she had ordered separately. I also requested four sauce packets, but they were missing from my bag. The cashier quickly provided them when I asked. My order took a bit longer than usual, but it was not a big inconvenience. Burger King has a great drink selection with the option to make your own drink and add ice. I would recommend Burger King to everyone, but I think they could improve by adding music for a more lively atmosphere. I also appreciate the free Wi-Fi. Goodbye!"

"The kids' fish fingers and chips meal was decent, but the tomato pasta was terrible! It was a small portion of undercooked pasta with low-quality sauce drizzled on top. The fish and chips were not that great either; the oil definitely needs to be changed. We opted for the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream for dessert, but it was dry and required the ice cream to make it more palatable. The pub itself was nice, but the chefs could use some further training. On a positive note, the bar and waiting staff were friendly and accommodating."

"It’s great to find a good quality, independent coffee shop that offers real competition to the chains. Coffee and pastry lovers like me really like supporting these businesses.However, whilst I accept that prices are going to be a little higher, there’s a limit to the premium that I’m prepared to pay. I’ve only recently moved to Windsor, so I’m still learning about the various establishments at the eating end of Peascod Street, and I will definitely return to Lilly’s to try some of the other items on the menu. But I won’t be having the tuna mayonnaise on sourdough at £7.50 again since I thought at that price there ought to be some crisps and/or some coleslaw or perhaps some pickled vegetables?It’s clearly a family run establishment, and it’s lovely to have found it, so I hope they don’t don’t fall into the trap of increasing prices in order to compensate for reduced covers during the Covid fallout period."

"Well its the first time i have been in here even though my family i was with have all eaten in here before but it certainly wont be my last time not after i had read the menu with all the days of the week offers on plus the regular extensive menu which is served all the time. There's some great offers to have because it was Monday my wife i opted for the Grill Monday offers, she had the steak with fries i had to try The Full Monty Mixed Grill, well for the price it just had to be done it didn't disappoint. There was everything there the chicken breasts where gorgeous just cooked right the gammon was also spot on. Cannot wait to go again on a different day try another of there money saving offers. Everyone's meal was good so we were all satisfied plus they have a extensive beer garden which would be brilliant in summer they also serve a large range of beers so its gotta be worth a visit. There is also 2 lots of toilets inside the pub some at one end some at another Even had the Sunday roast that was gorgeous. Staff are always very polite helpful."

"I visited Tracks Records for the second time on a Sunday. The first visit was decent, with good food and quick service, although we experienced a delay due to a malfunctioning card machine. Overall, it was satisfactory. I had planned to celebrate my birthday there with my family, but we were not informed that no children were allowed after 8pm, so we were unable to enter. As a gesture of apology, they offered us a discount for our next visit. However, when I returned on Sunday, the experience was disappointing. The salt fish frittas did not contain any salt fish, the rum punch I ordered lacked rum and had to be corrected, and the jerk chicken spring rolls had a bone in them. The main course of jerk chicken and chips was average, with overcooked chips that were overly salty. Our table was set for 6 despite us being a party of 3, and most of the cutlery was dirty with dried food on them. Additionally, the water glasses provided were dirty as well."

"I have become a regular customer at the Sussex Yeoman and visit for lunch once or twice a week. The level of service is great and the Manager and Staff are very friendly. It is refreshing to be treated as a valued customer with old-fashioned service, which is lacking in many other hospitality businesses. The value for money is outstanding, especially when taking advantage of the daily deals like Curry Wednesdays and BOGOF on Burgers on Fridays. "my daughter insisted that I have the burger, chips and salat on my first visit today and she was right-what a completely tasty lazy! massive bucks of right fat chips, huge burger, really interesting side salat (not only salat, gurke and tomaten, delicious creamy coleslaw. "Booked table for 7 for 7pm, I have eaten before here and the food service has always been good with food average to good. However on this occasion, I cannot say anything was even average. I ordered the tandoori sizzler, it wasn’t even sizzling and although the taste of the chicken was ok, the food looked like it had been cooked earlier and heated in microwave The salad was basically a bed of rocket with some chilli peepers sliced on top, not an appealing presentation and I ordered side of fries, which were lukewarm with black bits in quite a few of them Restaurant wasn’t busy but it looked as though staffing was a bare minimum, there were plates on tables not cleaned away for duration of our stay Our table was also very sticky and we had to request someone to wipe it over, it evidently hadn’t been cleaned Hygiene and cleanliness in here is inexcusable, standards are so poor at front of house I dread to think what it’s like behind closed doors The food was inexpensive but this should not give a reason for food standards to be so poor I doubt if I will eat here again and I will also be letting friends and family know of my experience"

"This is a real English pub! With more than 300 years of history it has many stories to tell. Highway men drank at this pub. WWI wounded Aussies, from the local hospital, drank at this pub. Royalty visited this pub. It has real history! Close your eyes for a few seconds and you are transported back in time a hundred years. Low ceilings. Cosy sitting areas. Well stocked bar. GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE.... Sunday lunch was excellent! Real pub food! Roast lamb and veg was as good as it gets. Good value for money. THE PEOPLE.... But what makes this pub stand out is the people. Wonderful serving staff. Bar manager was attentive, calm, talking effortlessly to every guest. Every one there was a local. Elderly people in their 80’s having a traditional Sunday roast was a pleasure to see. Listening to the locals was a pleasure. Endless stories. Lots of laughter. These are the real English people you won’t find in any fancy London pub. This is a pub where you are welcome. You feel at home. Children welcome! Just when you think it can’t get any better an “Arthur Daly” lookalike turned up and took over the conversation!!! THE KINGS ARMS IS A GREAT ENGLISH PUB! Worth the visit!"
