"We stumbled over this pub to find somewhere to eat near where we lived. What a little luck. Each course was excellent. The Moule were the best I had eaten for years, big fat and perfectly cooked. The brown shrimps on a crumb interesting) were also excellent and a generous part. The mains were venison and pork belly both first class. Finally treacle tart, thick and lemony. A good wine list with most through the glass or bottle, minimal supplement to glass prices. It's a long time since we had a meal where every dish was excellent. Very recommended."
