"I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for dinner. The price per person ranged from £30 to £40. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a perfect 5. "We chose East because it was one of the few places open on a Monday that wasn't in lockdown. When we first arrived, I wasn't best impressed with the sign, and thought we were heading into your bog standard traditional English/Cantonese restaurant. However, once we board the restaurant, everything was wonderful. The food was largely cooked from scratch, and every dish was a joy."

"The staff in this restaurant are outstanding. They always go above and beyond without being intrusive. Even the guy who brings out the food from the kitchen stood in a very professional way with one arm behind his back and the other balancing the tray of food but he still managed to greet and acknowledge us when we came in and left. My elderly husband tends to mumble, so through no fault of their own they have him the wrong dessert. Everyone was so apologetic and offered us free coffee which we declined so they gave us two free kir royals instead which was most welcome. Excellent training- the staff here could certainly teach other establishments a thing or two about catering, as the food is delicious and well presented, and how to treat customers."

"Always busy but always good... We'll, to be honest, only been twice in 3 days on break gown here and great both times! Weds lunch was 1/2 pizza, chips salad for £3.99 and it's 1/2 a 12 pizza! Tonight it was lasagne, chips and garlic bread which was fabulous! If I was local then I would def visit again as both food and all the staff are wonderful being friendly, efficient and helpful. Thanks ladies and gents for a great couple of meals Hope to see you again"
