"I always noticed the wonderful smell coming from this place when I walked by, so I finally decided to try it out over the weekend. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, explaining the spiciness levels of the curries and offering to adjust them to our preferences. The food we ordered was delicious, the quality was great for the price, and we didn't have to wait too long for it. I would definitely order from here again. Another great thing is that the menu offers the option to make any dish vegetarian or vegan, which is a big bonus for those who require it."

"The menu at The Mumbai Mansion is not your standard Indian fare. Scallops, Monkfish, Venison all feature in the starter selections. "The restaurant was terrible from start to finish. The food was flavourless, presentation poor and was way too over priced. Parts of my Halibut were burnt and other parts undercooked. The naan was undercooked also. Was expecting to take my partner to a great Indian and ended up with a poor meal and we were both still hungry after. There’s nothing traditional about any of the dishes we ate. Felt cheated. Didn’t even bother looking at dessert"

"Really sad to find that Vujon is closing. This has been a firm favourite if ours for some time and we have enjoyed many a good meal here. We didn't know when we booked for New Year's Eve 2019 that it would the last night they were open. We realised straight away that things weren't as normal the wall lights were not working so it was very dim, there was no wallpaper on the walls, the carpet had been replaced with a wood floor so it was noisey when anyone walked across the floor and the heating was none existent. Thankfully most of the food was good as usual. It's closing for a three month refurbishment so let's see if the new place lasts for the 30+ years that Vujon was there."

"Worst Indian meal we have ever had. Only thing that was ok was the poppadums. The rest was tasteless and the chicken meat quite chewy. The garlic naan was tasteless and we had to ask times before the staff offered to replace it. When...we got the replacement it came covered in small chunks of garlic. The service was also quite poor with less than enthusiastic staff. The waiter did get the manager and he tried to explain they cook their food differently to how it’s cooked in the part of Scotland we come from?? He then also offered to get us a drink each but this was once we’d paid and were ready to leave. Would much rather have had something knocked off the bill for providing us with an underwhelming meal. It is ashame as the location is nice but the food and service was not."

"My husband and I had a date night dinner , The lamb Biryani and Saag Aloo, were the worst I have ever had. I couldn 't eat the Saag Aloo because it was too hot with whatever they had added, chillies or spices I managed to eat a small amount of the Biryani but again any aromatic flavours were overpowered by the added spices or chillies. My mouth and lips were burning. We didn 't eat all of the meal. I would have told the waitress when we paid the bill if she had bothered to ask if we enjoyed the meal. We have been there before but there should not be such inconsistency with the flavour of the food. We will vote with our feet and not bother again. We will stick to the Gurkha in Chatham in future."

I think this is a mother-daughter team and that we had for my mother when I felt it was something special. While there was a bit of a shortage on the meat content, which was heavily sauced, this was easy to overlook because the taste was fantastic. The staff were friendly, but I expected a bit more engagement since we were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. I noticed that during the meal, a worker who had a noticeable cough wasn’t wearing a mask, which was concerning. Additionally, frequent smoke breaks during their shift meant that when they returned, there was a lingering smell of cigarettes. Despite these issues, the food truly stood out, making it worth a visit in any case."

"We live local to Naan and it's the best Indian locally to us. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I've ever tried. The sauce is amazing and so much chicken.
